Great no frills taco joint for fairly cheap prices (under $3/taco). I also love their green sauce that has a kick to it but isn't too spicy.

Authentic taco joint with plenty of meat options. Pretty minimal service, order at the counter, take the buzzer and grab your food when it's ready. We ordered tacos to go, and they were packed very nicely. Very reasonable price for the portion. Their green sauce was fantastic!

Get the barbacoa, absolutely marvelous. Melts in your mouth. Will be my favorite meat to get from now on. As always, service is quick, and it's a popular spot to go for a nice taco fix! Green salsa is great, and red salsa is EXTRA SPICY so be careful!

Tacos la bala is a great place for authentic tacos. The tacos are pretty good and prices are reasonable compared to other similar taco places. The dining area is pretty large with plenty of seating so even though it was quite crowded when I went, I was able to find a spot easily. Here, you Order at the counter and pick up your food when it is ready. I ordered a large menudo: tasty with A LOT of meat inside: worth the price! The street tacos were delicious and they come with pickled vegetables which go great with the meat and tortillas. I also got the horchata. I didn't like it very much because it tasted like bubblegum and lacked the typical cinnamon horchata flavor. Overall, I enjoyed the food here and would come back.

Went in person today and got Barbacoa and lengua tacos and the horchata. Everything I had was excellent on the corn tortillas. The barbacoa was flavorful and the lengua soft and fatty which is perfect for me. The horchata was delicious and refreshing. I think it's definitely better to dine there in person because my past experiences with Uber eats wasn't good. Also tacos are much cheaper when you go to the restaurant instead of ordering from Uber eats.

I hadn't been to Tacos La Bala in a long time. It was around 11:30 a.m. and already crowded. You order at the counter and are given a device that's loud when it beeps when your food is ready. I was lucky to find booth seating. I would have liked to order tomatadas but being pescatarian, they come with sesina, a tender sliced cured beef. So I ordered cheese quesadillas on corn tortillas. They were good and the cheese was abundant. The food was ready quite quickly. There are two types of salsas at the tables, green and red. I didn't try any. Each quesadilla is about $3.40. That's pricey for a tortilla with cheese.

Cochinita pibil Torta 6/5 Beef faijta Taco 5/5 Beef Tongue Taco 5/5 Trompo Taco 3/5 First of all, the tortas here are amazing. The bread is slight crispy while soft on the inside, and they stuff the sandwich with your meat of choice, avocado and other goodies like beans and lettuce. Honestly, to today, I am still not super sure what is cochinita pibil, but I do know its delicious! The meat is juicy and flavorful. But be warned, the juice can get messy if you are not careful. On a separate occasion, I also got 3 tacos. I absolutely loved beef fajita and tongue, they are both flavorful and juicy. You see the theme here yet? Which is why it breaks my heart to say that the trompo taco I had was a little dry, though still filled with flavor. Last thing I'll say is that the tacos are not super stuffed, so I would still say you will probably get more for your buck with the torta!

Look no further than Tacos la Bala for some of the most delicious authentic tacos around. Don't let the unassuming facade deter you--they food is awesome, the staff is friendly, and the place is clean. The salsas on the table are so good and the trompo taco is my favorite.

For drinks, my husband and our friends tried some of the margaritas from their large and unique margaritas menu, as well as their hibiscus agua fresca. All of the drinks were very pretty and it seemed like everyone enjoyed them, too! We started with their chips and salsa trio, which we all really liked. The chips were on the thicker side, but were crispy and not stale or chewy at all. Each of the salsas were quite different, and two were served warm, which we really liked! For the price, I'd consider getting the chips and salsa as a non-negotiable, honestly. For entrees, we tried the enchilada rojas, chilaquiles verde w/ chicken and beef, birria barbacoa ramen, and huaraches. My husband felt like his ramen could have included more meat, but aside from that everyone really enjoyed what they ordered. The highlight was probably the desserts, though! We got a quatro leches and two ordered of their giant and amazing churros. Both were incredibly tasty and reason enough to return for another visit in the future!

I would definitely recommend making a reservation, as it can get pretty busy, especially during Saturday lunch. There is also plenty of parking available across the street. The interior of the restaurant was beautiful and felt so authentic to Mexican culture. Also, the pace of the food being brought out was evenly paced, which I appreciate, and our server gave us just the right amount of attentiveness. We celebrated my husband's birthday here, and they sent out a tres leches with a candle on it. Very kind and very delicious dessert. Usually not a big fan of tres leches, but this one was not overwhelmingly soaked in condensed milk, and it has a very fresh tasting peach (seasonal) puree drizzled on top. The experience started poorly with the valet attendants, whom we found to be rude, dismissive, and very unprofessional. It was such an unpleasant first impression that my wife and I mentioned it to the hostess when we went inside. Unfortunately, things did not improve. The hostess seemed completely unconcerned about our experience and simply informed us that the wait for a table was approximately two hours. While deciding whether our party should wait or go elsewhere, I went to the bar to order a drink. After ordering, the bartender told me that if I was only having a drink, I needed to move. Apparently, sitting at the bar required ordering a meal. At that point, we had experienced enough. Between the unpleasant valet experience, the indifferent response at the hostess stand, the two-hour wait, and then being told I couldn't sit at the bar simply to have a drink while we decided what to do, the overall message was clear: we did not feel welcome here. My wife, the rest of our party, and I decided to leave and have dinner elsewhere. A busy restaurant is understandable. A long wait is understandable. What is much harder to understand is making prospective customers feel unwelcome at nearly every point of contact. Needless to say, this was an exceptionally disappointing experience, and we will not be returning.
