    Bland pastor tacos

I was not impressed with this location. The meat wasn't seasoned. They were stingy with the onion and cilantro. I love tacos and it hurts me to write this bad review. I could make better tacos. The pastor was lacking flavor. I will not be returning. I was very disappointed.

Went here cause I wanted something authentic and quick. Went with a friend on a Friday night around 9:15pm. Gas station - so tacos were good, not really a great place to sit down and eat. Definitely one of those grab & go. I ordered the barbacoa & the chicken on corn tortillas. Yummy! It's amongst one of my tops. I would go back to grab some more only cause it's the closest one to me. Some of the best eats are a hole in a wall It only gets 4 stars because it's not a restaurant, making it hard to sit & eat in there. Very small space inside the gas station

Say bruh....this review is about to have NO CHILL. I love a good "street taco" and these bad boys were THE BEST F*CKING STREET TACOS IVE HAD IN YEARS!!! They were prepared with love and affection-- just the way I like them! They had lots of grease and lots of meat, bc I mean nobody likes a dry ass taco. So if you don't like grease then this ain't for you. And to top it off, they included a half grilled jalapeño--WHERE DEY DO DAT AT??!? Here, apparently. This place is located at a gas station on the corner of Park Ln and Greenville Ave-- hopefully that won't stop you from trying this place out. #getchusome p.s I came here on 10/3/18 and had to write this review immediately after I smacked the plate clean

Pretty tasty gas station tacos. Not as good as Fuel City, but definitely a good option if you are craving tacos and are further north. I tried the lengua, barbacoa, and pastor tacos on corn torillas. The lengua was tender and not gamey at all, possibly my favorite out of the three. The pastor was intensely spiced; more so than those at FC and slightly strong for my taste. The barbacoa was juicy and tender but less flavorful than FC's. The salsa verde had a nice medium heat level and was thicker than I'm used to. They also have quesadillas, tortas, and a barbacoa plate. Tacos are $1.15 on corn, more for flour. They also have chicken tacos if you're not into red meat. CASH ONLY! There are four stools at the counter if you are eating in house.

Muchas gracias La Paisanita for making tasty tacos at $1.25 each. I had barbacoa tacos, that came with onions, cilantro, and lime. The barbacoa was not the best I've ever had, but it was good. The wow factor was in the salsa. The red is hot. As in, I got the hiccups, hot. The green sauce also has some kick to it, but is the milder of the two. La Paisanita is inside a gas station on the NE corner of Park and Greenville. As it's inside a gas station, there are a few stools and a table, but it's more of a take-out kind of place. I am pretty sure it's cash only. The two ladies working behind the taco counter were really friendly, but I would stay away from purchasing anything from the actual gas station. While I was waiting, two neighborhood kids got into a verbal disagreement with the gas station owner because the items in the store did not have prices on them. I can verify that indeed: nothing had a price on it. The kids were in the right - they were just trying to buy a snickers and wanted to know the price. The employee/owner wouldn't tell them the price either, he just said he'd ring them up. That seems really shady. Items should be priced. Additionally, only assholes rip-off kids. This taco place/gas station is adjacent to a rough neighborhood. While I was there, just after dusk, a man tried to squeegee my car windshield for cash. I also hear gunshots frequently from this area. Just don't carry in more than $20 or wear a flashy diamond ring. The tacos are worth braving squeegee bums. Just be sure to wear your man pants if you go after dark.

Probably some of the best tacos I've ever had. Inexpensive and amazing. Tacos are 1.50!!! The place is in a gas station, so seating is limited, but definitely worth grabbing on the go!

Unfortunately, our last two visits have been highly disappointing, and I wanted to bring this to your attention. During our visit today, we noticed a significant drop in the quality of the ribeye steak. The meat was tough, chewy, and lacked flavor. Given how frequently we dine here, the change was highly noticeable. Have you recently changed your meat providers or specifications for this cut? Additionally, as someone who works within a restaurant group, I must express concern regarding your beverage pricing. The current rates for water and soda are exceptionally high--to the point where my team now opts out of purchasing drinks entirely. I strongly encourage you to consider adjusting these to a more reasonable rate, or at the very least, proactively offering complimentary iced tap water. We truly love your restaurant and want to continue supporting you. I share this feedback in the spirit of helping your kitchen maintain its excellent standards. Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to your response. Sincerely, Chris L.

There are multiple locations in DFW, and this review is for the Chilangos in Dallas off of Ross. My Overall Rating - 5 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - The two Chilangos locations I've been to are both located in strip malls with a bright, neon "Chilangos Tacos" sign above the entrance. Inside, there's reggaeton music, tons of patrons, and ESL here. Once you place your order, grab a Jarritos, a bright red metal seat, and watch the staff cook your tacos to order. 1 Star. Service - The staff are very friendly and efficient. It really helps if you speak Spanish, so go with someone who does, or point to the menu item you want. Once you place your order, grab a seat and wait for your name to be called. The staff is super nice and efficient, and our order was available in about 5 min. 1 Star. Food - Birria Quesatacos with consume. Memorize it and order it. Kudos to my son who swears by this dish. I am now a believer. The tender seasoned shredded birria beef is so flavorful. The quesataco style melts the cheese into the corn tortilla. And when you take some diced onion and cilantro to top it, dunk it in the consume before biting into the most flavorful taco served in DFW. According to the menu, this dish is only available on the weekend, but I've used food deliver services to get my consume fix during the week so YMMV. Bottom line, it's not just the best item on the menu, it's the best taco bite in all of DFW. 2 Stars. Will I Return? - Yes. Chilango Tacos is expanding in DFW. There are now multiple locations in all of DFW so there should be a location near you. Chilangos Tacos is now in my weekly rotation. 1 Star.

The surrounding neighborhood, however, was a pleasant surprise. It's a trendy, energetic pocket of Dallas that I had somehow never explored before, and it immediately caught my attention. The restaurant itself is quite unassuming. If I'm being honest, it didn't exactly scream "come on in." On this particular night, there was only one employee working. It took nearly 10 minutes just to place my order and another 15 minutes before the food arrived. By that point, I was more than a little annoyed. Then the tacos showed up. Talk about a complete plot twist. Not only was everything beautifully presented, but the flavors were absolutely unbelievable. Whenever I visit a taco spot, I like to order a variety so I can get a sense of what they're really capable of. This time it was the al pastor, carne asada, and Baja tacos. One word....incredible. I can't tell you which one was best! I've had great tacos before. I've had places nail one or two selections. But I honestly can't remember the last time three completely different tacos all delivered a perfect punch in a single sitting. Every bite was packed with flavor, expertly balanced, and memorable in its own way. Without question, this was the best taco trio I've ever had. What a roller coaster of a visit. I went from feeling completely ignored and wondering if I'd made a mistake, to wanting to walk back into the kitchen and hug the chef. Sometimes great food doesn't just redeem an experience--it completely rewrites it. The Taco stand is GOATED

Only thing, and this doesn't go against the restaurant, but don't order delivery through their website if you can help it. Ordered through there, and it was assigned to Uber Eats. 6 drivers and 90 minutes later, my order was cancelled. I called the restaurant, and the staff was VERY helpful. Apparently, one driver stole my food, so every other driver was told there was no order to pick up. By ordering through the restaurant website, I couldn't dispute this with Uber Eats, since my account didn't reflect an order. However, the restaurant staff was VERY NICE in helping to issue a refund. I recommend the staff, not the delivery aspect. 2 hours later, and I wound up going to get a new order myself... even though I was feeling sick, which defeated the purpose of the delivery in the first place. Either way, I recommend the food, the staff, and the restaurant.. just not their hired delivery service.
