So so so very good. Yep, this is the best Mexican around. I have tried 4 different tacos, lengua and shrimp were my favs. The green enchiladas were great, but the bowls seem to have my heart. One stop shop with bowl. Meat, sauce, rice chips. I even saw one lady put the cover on her bowl, turn it upside down and shake. A little cray cray, but all so good. The horchata is amazing. Make sure to walk across the street for Mexican dessert. The seating is open the with big TVs blaring. You bus your own table. Make sure and ask for salsa picante. It's great. The staff is so on it. Great find. We had the enchiladas verdes con pollo. Big pieces of tender chicken, flavorful salsa verde, good traditional rice and beans. We didn't try them but the Tortas looked good too. They make everything right in front of you, and it's a popular place, so don't be surprised if you have to wait. We'd definitely come here again. read more

I have gone here my entire life and the service had been AMAZING. I went there today and there are two newer workers that at lady's. They were rude and barely put any toppings on my food. one of the lady's had a bad attitude to another costumer. They looked like that were miserable and had a snotty attitude. Eh. This place reminds me of a taqueria equivalent of subway. I'm super picky when it comes to Mexican food and generally base my everything on whether the locations carne asada burrito is a good option. I've been to locations where each item stuffed into the burrito was great and stood out individually. Places that each item blended together to make some kind of amazing flavorful experience. Then there are the stops that put cold cheese into burritos and hope for the best... Ordering is super easy. Pick an entree, get a spoon full of this and a spoon full of that and viola! Your food is set. ...Whenever I see cheese as an option for a burrito filler, my eyes light up. In theory, you add cheese to anything and it should be amazing. 95% of the time it ends up being a deal breaking mistake. If cold cheese is put into my burrito, that is all i focus on. If science has taught me anything it's that; Melted cheese = amazing Cold cheese = *thumbs down emoji* My burrito was definitely not worth driving off the highway for Being as I was staying in town that night and my only other options were typical fast food joints, it was a solid choice. I'd go again if I were staying in town to try different items/dying of hunger passing through. I'm not going out of my way for it, though. All together, I think my burrito and coke cost about 8ish. Pretty typical taqueria price. They accept cards, so that was cool. Probably my fault, but I should have told the person behind the counter what I wanted and they would have made it happen. Had a burrito with everything and it was good. Major complaint...not as clean as I like. Table was a bit sticky and the napkin server was grimy......not what I like to see. Wife had chicken nachos which she liked. This place makes the best Burritos in Town. No Doubt about it. The are massive. Pros: Foods Good, Fresh, Tasty, Filling, Cheap. Cons: Any time you go in the place for the rest of the day your cloths will smell like it. Even your hair does. I have several friends who refuse to go there anymore simply because they do not want to sell like a burrito for the rest of the day. Something is definitely wrong with Ventilation in the building. If you only have 30 minutes, Don't even try, with only 2 people making a burrito for 1 person at a time, the service is too slow to make it at noon lunches if you only have 30 minutes. That being said - You can CALL IN an order and pick it up, but you will smell like burrito for the rest of the day. it's like the Oil is floating in the air or something. The Staff is Super friendly, mainly Spanish speaking. But they understand what you want to order. overall, would get 5 stars if they found a way to rearrange the kitchen so they can take more than 1 order at a time, and vented the building so you didn't smell for the rest of the day. read more

We stopped here on our way home from a long trail ride. It was a pretty slow line, but food was really good. Not very personable people but didn't obviously affect the food quality. It's not fancy, but it's fresh and it's tasty. En route from western Wyoming to Portland, we got hungry for a quick dinner so we could get back on the road. Tacos Mi Ranchito in Ontario was easy to find and had good reviews, so we stopped there. We had shrimp tacos and a side of rice, which were served up, the tacos freshly made, in about five minutes. We could choose our own toppings (options: salsa, pico de gallo, cilantro, guacamole, onions, lettuce). The people who worked here were friendly (you order at the counter and then sit down). Restrooms very clean. There is also a bar which we didn't sample because, you know, miles to go before we sleep... P.S. I will admit, ordering shrimp tacos in eastern Oregon is probably not the best option to ensure fresh and local. Still, they tasted good. read more

Nice mom-and-pop operation. The guacamole and salsa appear to be homemade and very tasty. My wife had a chicken quesadilla and loved it. I had a beef taco, and the beef was pretty tough, totally unimpressed. In my opinion, the chicken in the quesadilla was also pretty dry. read more

The food is good. If you have ever been to a Mexican restaurant or taco truck you have eaten here it's average in that regard. The service is slow. Painfully slow. I don't recommend coming here if you are in a hurry. There is just about always a terribly long line. Don't expect to get in and out in less then 20 mins. read more
