This food truck is located right across the street from Lions Market and Tasty Pot so you will know you are nearby once you see these nearby businesses. It's conveniently located right off the freeway on Story and situated inside a relatively vacant liquor store parking lot. You can't miss it! From their menu they seem to have a signature "Montero" twist to a burrito, hot dog, and quesadilla. The price for a taco truck burrito today in February 2018 is $7.61 for a regular burrito, $8.69 for a super burrito, and $9.79 for their Montero Burrito. Tacos are $2.17 each (no bulk price). I went with the Montero Burrito which just comes with more vegetables like avocado, potato, grilled bell peppers, etc... Honestly speaking I think the "Montero" Burrito is just the super burrito option at regular food trucks and the super burrito here is just a slightly larger regular burrito. Regardless the burrito tasted pretty good and cleanly wrapped, but their spicy sauce is not very spicy and they don't put it inside their burrito, they packaged it into sauce cups and it came on the side. Me being the clumsy guy I am I accidentally splashed the sauce in my eyes and it didn't sting nor did my eyes irritate afterwords, it's been like half an hour now. The staff there doesn't seem to communicate very effectively or speak English well when I was asking about their menu items so I wouldn't advise coming here if you are a picky eater or like to modify their foods a lot, that would be Chipotle you are looking for. read more

Best tacos I've had so far from a taco truck. They make their tacos with homemade tortillas, their meets very flavorful, salsas are delicious with a nice kick. The staff are lovely my self and my boyfriend order so often from here she knows us by name and how we like our condiments that she doesn't even as. We came here on a whim over pho. Good idea or great? GREAT F***** IDEA! Got an asada quesadilla (aka massive taco 99/1% meat to cheese ratio) , 2 pastor and a carnitas taco(s). Sure, they're in a 7-11 parking lot but since when are diamonds ever found not in a rough. The quesadilla and tacos came generously laden with onions/cilantro (hell yes), a sliced radish and a lemon wedge. I'm accustomed to city/peninsula tacos where the tortillas are flat top grilled with lard (shout out el greasys). The tortillas here are house made, no need to grill them with lard. Likely thrown over a flame to heat/toast, the tortillas were bomb. The carnitas actually had the nice crispy bits to it and the pastor although a little dry had solid flavor, the asada was asada. The sauces. Yo, the picante oraange?! FIRE. It's the addictive spice. The pay for it tomorrow spice. The I'll come back again spice. The mild salsa verde was bomb too, flavorful with a bite. OMG!!! This taco truck serves the best food and the hot sauce is delicious too. Not your typical corn tortilla dipped in oil then put on the griddle, instead they are HOMEMADE corn tortillas light and fluffy and so delicious. The carne asada is moist on the inside and crisp on the outside not dry and hard like most places. I'm from Milpitas and will happily make the drive out of my way to visit. There's this little Mexican lady that comes out late at night to sell her Mexican food from her street cart on the corner of Tully Road across the street from Little Vietnam Mall. She barely speak a lick of English but she makes some pretty good and fresh tacos. Even her tortillas are hand made when you order it. You see her rolling the flour by hand before using a contraption to press it into that round shape that we are used to. Let's see you be more authentic then that. If you go late into her shift there's a chance that she might be out of the more popular fillings. I wanted chicheron and lengua (pork skin and tongue) when I was there but she was already out of it by 11:30 PM. My back up of a pork taco and a steak taco was still pretty good and flavorful though. There are a few very limited hard foldable chairs for seating. Otherwise expect to stand if you want to eat right then and there. She have a sauce station full of various salsa, a very light sour cream, and pickled veggies with hot peppers to top off your order. read more

I was sober when consuming this late night meal. :) I don't know how well English is understood by the lovely lady preparing our food, I had a Spanish speaking friend who ordered and conversated with the woman. :D Since she's only open until 11pm, and we arrived after 11pm, there was only tacos available to us. I really wanted tamales :(. Beggars can't be choosers! I was down for the asada tacos! I didn't realize the tortillas were made fresh! I saw her rolling something in her hand, grabbing something from the bowl in front of me, and what I assumed was the cutting board. I was wrong, she was pressing fresh tortillas to throw onto the grill. Holy cow, this isn't some fancy food truck, mind you, it was just one of those stands you pull up to and order something quick. Tortilla had a soft crisp bite to it, I can't express how awesome it tastes compared to store bought tortillas and restaurant served tortillas. I can eat, correction, I would eat the tortilla by itself. The flavor was nothing bitter, or stale, it's simply heaven. Asada is added on top, the condiments, lettuce, salsa, etc, is on the side, you put and pour as much as you'd like on your order :D The tacos are half the size of a regular taco from taco bell, it's not large. There's a large selection of choices of tacos-- even a vegetarian one with cactus! Whoa! :D I watched the boy (I don't know if he's a boy or just a young looking guy) help prepare the cactus for the lady. A lot of small food trucks I go to are a little rude and stand-offish, but I had a very pleasant experience here and I'm sure they were wondering why I kept snapping photos :) LOL $2 tacos $1 can soda $2 bottle soda Prices aren't listed on her wall of menu, ask the price first in case you don't have enough cash! Like many reviews their tacos are to die for! I absolutely love tripe and I can not (CAN NOT) believe they have tripe tacos. After my first 3 crunchy tripe tacos I wanted more! The tacos were great! And stuffed full of meat. I ordered 2 chicken, 2 Asada, and 1 lengua. I had never tasted lengua before but my friend convinced me to try it.
