Try this little hole in the wall place hidden in the back of the 7-11 strip mall. The cook rolls the tacos with one hand pretty cool. Non stop people for a sunday night. Inside has a handful of tables to sit both takeout orders and sit in's. Not a long wait for orders. Chile Verde burrito very tasty the pork was shredded I am used to chunks it had a little kick to it the beans were very good I would like to go have a bean and cheese burrito. We also tried the steak picado taco recommended as one of the favorites the tortilla was dipped in something but it was good tender pieces of meat bathed in the goodness of onions tomatoes, that makes a sauce. We also had chicken taquitos comes with lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, avocado sauce, laying on green chili. I made the mistake and had the cream on the side, but that makes the whole taquito is super good. The cream is very tasty. Wasn't a fan of the chicken that seem like it was overcooked for the taquito. They have taco Tuesday every taco for only two dollars. If you want to try the different tacos that they have.

Great small spot for delicious Mexican food. My son and I shared the carnitas plate or rather, my son ate the carnitas plate and I took a few bites. He loved it. The best he has had which is a big endorsement. I barely took a picture before he had his second scoop. Omana's is located in a small strip mall with a 7/11 and laundry mat.

Excellent service & excellent food. Tried the taco plate today cause get three tacos, beans & rice. The beans are really good. They are not only the perfect smoothness but very tasty. Rice is nice - dry not wet. Now the meats! Three tacos - chicharon (red or green sauce), carnitas, and and buches. All three were very tasty. Buches was new to me but reminded me of pork roast on a minor level. Tasted more like pork than the carnitas. The chicharon was not the chunk of meat version. It's the skin itself so it's soft. Btw, the green sauce is awe--some! My friend had the fish taco (prepared Ensenada style), the carne asada and adobo. She liked all of hers and she went back to get tacos to take home to family. Her brother also loved the fish taco! Pretty much everything is good here. My friend said the steak picado is also excellent! They have some breakfast burritos but you need to get them day before for next day breakfast (they DO hold up well!) . I will post pix of menus, hours, etc.

Located in a shopping plaza just west of Barranca, next to a laundromat, Tacos Omanas has been around over 40 years. Our usual taco place was closed for Labor Day, so I found this place on Yelp and decided to give it a try. Prices are reasonable, restaurant is clean, food is good. We got the California Burrito w/ asada, an asada meat burrito, a carnitas taco and pollo taco. My family still prefers our other taco place, but Tacos Omanas still hits the spot for our taco and burrito cravings.

I was in the area and decided to stop by since a good friend recommended this place a few months back. I was pleasantly surprised at the authenticity of the chile verde burrito. Just the right spice and as tender as it could be. The flour tortilla made me feel that I was in Sonora. Will be back for the rest of the menu.

You can park in the additional parking spots all around Shopper Ln. I have been a customer for many years and tried many delicious dishes. They serve a traditional Mexican open buffet at certain times. The waiting line is expected, but don't feel discouraged because it moves fast. The decor is vibrant enriched with colorful murals. The staff are very welcoming and genuinely warm. The restaurant has cozy and inviting ambience. Outdoor and indoor seating are available. I placed an online order for pickup. It was fast and convenient since I had friends coming for dinner. I ordered the following: - Burrito Panchon 5/5 Stuffed with carnita, beans and rice, served with cream, beans and guacamole. Huge portion! You can choose your protein. - Fajitas Cielo Mar Y Tierra 5/5 Marinated beef, shrimp, chicken. It served with sauteed bell peppers tomatoes and onions, rice, guacamole, beans and pico de gallo. It was smoky, savory and flavorful. - Vegetarian Enchiladas 5/5 Corn tortillas stuffed with bell pepper, corn, onion, carrot, cilantro, squash, and topped with a combination of cream and jack cheese. The portion was enormous. It was a very flavorful and savory. - Carna Asada 5/5 Flap meat marinated with homemade adobo. It served with pico de gallo, rice & guacamole. The meat was juicy and tender. The empanadas was crispy from outside and very flavorful. - Ensalada de Nopales 5/5 Diced cactus mixed with tomatoes, onion, lime, and cilantro. - Taquitos 5/5 It was crispy from outside with savory and juicy filling. - Taco de Cameron , taco de Pescado & taco de Birria 5/5 They were savory, juicy and delicious. - Beans 5/5 Topped with melted cheese, really delicious - Large Bionico Bowl 5/5 Fresh fruits like topped strawberries, mango, cantaloupe, banana, papaya, blueberries, apples, pineapple topped with granola and shaved coconut. It was rich, creamy. The fruits were fresh and sweet. It was heavenly! Every box was wrapped with layers of plastic wrap perfectly. I got a bag full of different types of salsa with my order and another bag with tortilla chips. The food portions were very generous. Every dish reflected authenticity and deliciousness. Jorge came outside multiple times, clearly saw how many people were waiting, and even recorded the crowd on his phone three different times for social media. Knowing the capacity of the restaurant, he could have easily informed everyone that the remaining people in line would likely not get in. Instead, we waited over three hours with no communication. While we were waiting, I repeatedly watched people call Jorge. He would come outside, greet them, and bring them straight inside. I personally saw this happen at least six different times. When it was finally our turn to speak with the host, we were told there were no seats left, that we would have to stand, and that we wouldn't even be able to order food. I confronted Jorge about letting those other groups in ahead of everyone else. His response was that he knew them personally and that they were friends of the restaurant owners. That explanation only made the situation worse. My wife had just finished a 14-hour hospital shift, and we came here hoping to enjoy the game together. Instead, we spent three hours waiting only to be treated as though our time didn't matter. What was most shocking was Jorge's attitude. He literally told me, "They won't do anything to me if you post this. I'm friends with the owner." If that's the mindset of management, it's no surprise customers are treated this way. It truly felt like only friends and family received special treatment while everyone else was left waiting without honesty or respect. I have no issue waiting when things are busy, but I do expect transparency, fairness, and professionalism. Unfortunately, this experience showed none of those qualities.
