Wow. Have had a condo in Dillon for years and this is our first time trying this joint. We will be back. The food was authentic and incredible. Our group of five skiers devoured queso fundido, chile rellenos, and tacos of all sorts. Everything was absolute quality. Prices were super fair as well, especially for Summit County. read more

A kind local restaurant worker advised us to come here cuz Lili's bistro was closed. We had street tacos: I had beef tongue (lengua) & pork stomach (buche). The beef tongue was tender and delicious, I will definitely come back for these. The carnitas & carne asada were also yummy. But the pleasant surprise was the fresh bakery inside the restaurant, it's operated independent of the bar/restaurant and cash only. So good, I got a selection of 5 pastries and a roll. I don't know their names but each was delicious, not too sweet. I love bakeries and this is my favorite bakery in the Silverthorne & Dillon area. Will definitely come back to try more. read more

I purchased a restaurant.com dining certificate for use at this restaurant ($6 for a $15 dining credit, minimum $45 purchase). The owner would not accept the certificate, stating that he did not know how the restaurant got on the site. Well, however it happened, this served as free advertising for the restaurant, while getting us to spend $45 (actually our bill came to $73 after taxes). The food was delicious, but I'm taking two stars away because of what I believe was misleading advertising on the part of either the restaurant or restaurant.com. Bottom line, go ahead and eat here because the food is good, but DO NOT purchase the bogus restaurant.com discount certificate because they won't accept it. read more

Absolutely disgusting, do not eat here! When we first walked in and found the place deserted and not clean that should have been our first clue. I ordered enchiladas with ground beef. They were spit the food right back into your plate disgusting. No seasoning and the meat was not even fully cooked. My husbands Barbacoa burrito was not much better. We came in here on Cinco de Mayo (not the celebration you'd think!) and it was OK but I probably wouldn't come here again. We tried a variety of tacos: Carne Asada, Barbacoa, Al Pastor, and Carnitas. The pork was bone dry and not good at all. The barbacoa was probably my favorite. I also had a shrimp tostada that was very salty but pretty good. The chips and salsa are below average. We ordered a quesadilla for our little and that was fine but it came with fries that were undercooked and mushy. Perhaps enchiladas or other entrees would be a better choice here. I just think we'll abstain from Mexican food while we're in the mountains! read more

I was here on a Sunday after hitting Keystone opening weekend. I am not sure if this made the difference or there is a liquor license issue, but there was no alcohol. The place was largely empty around 3p - but it's early ski season still in Summit County. I stuck around, and was glad I did. Service was super fast - I was eating four lovely chorizo tacos within 10 minutes of sitting down. The guacamole was nice as well. The server and hosts were friendly, and it was nice to get some fuel for the drive back to the Front Range. It's definitely worth a return trip. read more

Preface: I have owned restaurants and used to love this place - today was the final draw, the nail in the coffin for me and quite a few others who left disappointed. Dirty tables, inedible food, beyond horrid service. Carne Asada - inedible, steak tacos - spicy and inedible, shrimp wrapped in bacon - beyond inedible! The restaurant was full, tables not bused - owner not even willing to come to the front to deal with unhappy customers. The icing on the cake - is the full bill for inedible food. Frankly when the food sucks this bad, owner does not have the common courtesy to come out to deal with issues and the place is dirty, I ask -why would it be in business. I'm a Taco Guy first off! I'll give this place a 4 for food! And a 2 for service. Therefore they get a 3. What I liked. I got the skirt steak tacos. The corn tortillas were amazing. Warm and great tasting. The steak was great! Tacos were on point. I also got a margarita (Patrona) means instead of the cheap stuff they put patron in it. But it didn't have triple sec. Just mix and tequila and salt rim. Marg gets a 3. Service. Horrible. Should get a 1 but the food was good. We waited forever. Our server I think was also the bartender and owner. Forgot to come back to take our order. I had to get up once to remind them to bring our drinks after our food had arrived. Had to remind them to bring our salsa etc. read more
