We got a 10 pack street tacos (half chicken half steak). They were awesome no sauce, no quac but we did add cheese. The steak was tender and seasoned well, the chicken wasnt seasoned as well but still had some decent flavor. I also tried a fried shrimp taco. I wasnt really a fan of this. If I were eating the shrimp alone it would have been good, but the breading and flavor profile did not go well in a taco to me. It's always a shame when a recommendation from a good friend turns out to be pretty disappointing. Tacos Y Mas falls into that bucket unfortunately. I don't know what's going on in the kitchen but the chefs appear to be afraid of salt. I tried the six taco pack with chicken, steak, barbacoa, carnitas, pastor, and tripa. While I definitely recommend the pastor, I merely suggest the carnitas and tripa only because I absolutely advise to steer clear from the chicken, steak, and especially the water-soaked barbacoa. I don't even know how you can cook meat to taste like water. My wife got a chicken burrito to which she echoed that it wasn't bad, but it was perplexingly bland. And I had to knock a star off for the hair she found in her food. Another strike - they have a decent salsa bar but do not offer chips. I did try verde, mango habañero, and spicy peanut butter (supposed to be the spiciest but my mom could take that sauce) salsas on taco bites here and there. I'd only recommend the mango habañero. So I have seen these locations around Dallas, I finally had an opportunity to try them out. The customer service was good, lady attended us well. She had a great attitude and a took our order smiling and that itself makes a difference. I ordered a fish taco and some street tacos of bistek or fajita and a tripa. So this was my first time trying the tripa which is just intestines fried crispy. I have to say they were ok, very crispy and the lemon and hot sauces complemented the tacos quite well. I love the hot sauce bar with the variety to choose from. My favorite was the peanut and the bombero. Overall good food and excellent service, place was not packed during lunch when we went. This is decent place to come for late night tacos. It's a fast food place located in the Dal Rich shopping center on the busy corner of Coit and Belt Line. The tacos are pricey compared to Taco Bell, but they are actual street taco with several options for meat fillings. I was satisfied with my late night meal. This was a random drop in for me (9PM), so I ordered my food to go. I didn't actually eat my food until maybe an hour later, but it was still GOOD. I ordered two tacos (1x/$1.99): one chicken and one steak, both served on a flour tortilla. Both the chicken and steak were shredded and came with onions and cilantro. The meats were tender and seasoned to perfection. When you ordered from inside, there is a sauce bar filled with many to choose from. I also ordered a small cup of their chicken tortilla soup ($3.99). AMAZING! The soup alone will have been visiting again. Very flavorful and filled to the top. Inside you'll find mixed vegetables, shredded chicken, cheese, and slices of avocados. The only thing missing was the tortilla strips. Now that I think about it, they never offered any. As I waited, I inquired about the drinks they had at the register. The cashier was very nice by letting me try the three flavors (guava, mango, and a cinnamon one I can't remember the name). Our family is really big on supporting and eating at local small business. We decided on Tacos Chicken tortilla soup: Very disappointing . The soup has green beans, peas, Lima beans, carrots, corn, chicken, avocado and taste like minestrone soup . I could be wrong but the first 3 ingredients shouldn't be in chicken tortilla soup. I'll never eat here again Nothing was good. It's like they were phoning it in. Tacos: We're awful. Overcooked steak. Fried Shrimp was cold and look more like grilled than fried since the batter wasn't on the shrimp. Tortas: Drowned in creme and Chicken has no flavor. Churros: Soggy and it taste old. Caramel wasn't a description on the online menu and not ever one likes caramel. Not only did they get the order wrong but the second time it was still wrong. Ordered a child's quesadilla. We received an adult chicken quesadilla. When they remade the order they didn't give us his drink or the churro that comes with his meal. Customer Service: That was a 1 for me. Not too impressed, but they weren't terrible or anything. The enchiladas and churros were pretty good, but everything else was pretty bland. We had the burrito platter, the enchilada platter and six churros. It was also pretty pricey for what we got. I used a coupon for a buy one get one free platter and still spent almost $30 because of the churros. Home of the street taco! I personally like my street tacos for less than $1.30, however these tacos were jammed packed with an abundance of meat. I had one chicken, and one carne asada. (1.99$ each) The chicken was perfect - flavorful and moist. The carne asada could've been a little less dry, but still very good. Also, the corn tortillas could've been slightly more toasted and warm. Glad I made the stop! read more

They need to correct this practice. The food was good and I hope they stick around, but customers paying more than than they should, es no bueno.
