"Toast" was just bread. Avocados from a bag. This cost $24.

Service was very good. The "avocado toast" was not toast and barely avocado. It was unseasoned avocado puree from a bad stop a piece of soft bread. It cost $24.

The Urban Burger with truffle fries that I had for lunch was wondering, so I posted it on Facebook. My cousin in South Africa saw the post and picture, and commented that he would like to try it. It just so happend that he was coming to visit. So we went for lunch today and both had urban burgers. My cousin has traveled the world, and eaten at many places. The Urban Burger was by far one of the best hes ever eaten. Its probably going to be one of those once a month cravings to feed.

Average Americana bar food. Nothing note worthy. I had the BBQ burger with fries, it was average.

The mangos add a nice sweetness & really makes the dish. We went there for the meatloaf, Maguire's meatloaf never disappoints. It's the same delicious dish from 20+ years ago that brings happiness to the heart. Crispy onions, with cheddar mashed potatoes... love, love, love. The maple ginger salmon was cooked perfectly, & you can't go wrong with shrimp and crab the fried rice to accompany it. Lychee Lovebomb with the ube foam, no regrets. The staff greeted us upon arrival & we were seated with a few minutes, each person was friendly & courteous. Our waiter was very attentive, they got busier throughout the night & provided excellent service all around. Beautiful atmosphere, yet casual enough without the need to get all dressed up. Looking forward to coming back!

I had booked a reservation on Resy and we were seated immediately in a small, intimate booth. Initially, it was not terribly loud, but as the evening progressed and several large parties were seated nearby; the sound of the music was completely drowned out. I think more noise abatement measures could be taken to absorb some of the obtrusive loudness we were getting. For a starter, we ordered the Calamari. It was fried perfectly and was great, but the Thai Sticky sauce was too sweet and the consistency of the sauce was thin. It needed something to make it more viscous, and a secondary sauce, like a marinara or even an aioli would've been nice to balance out the sweetness of the Thai sauce. For an entree, I ordered the Maple- Ginger Salmon. The salmon was cooked perfectly and itself was delicious, but the sauce was too sweet and rich. The fired rice that accompanied my meal was over-the-top salty. It was almost going into "too much" territory. For desert we split the Passion Fruit Ice Cream Pie. This was actually very good and not overly sweet. It was my favorite item from my meal. Overall Renny's truly employs a lot of care and attention to the food, but some of the items crossed a line into "too much" territory. Be it sweetness or saltiness, the kitchen could exercise a bit of restraint to let the flavors of the food shine.

Our server, Stephen, was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout the entire experience. We started with the bruschetta board and it was delicious. My favorites were definitely the salmon & pesto and the goat cheese with sweet pepper jam--so flavorful and balanced perfectly. We both ordered the Select Two combo. I got a nine inch panini on focaccia bread paired with the soup of the moment: potato, leek, and artichoke soup, which was surprisingly so good and comforting. My friend ordered the same combo but paired hers with the Brussels sprout salad and had her panini on focaccia bread with tuna. She was also offered three wine tastings, which we thought was such a nice touch! To end everything, we tried the hot donut dots and they were amazing. They didn't taste oily at all, were light and fluffy, not overly sweet, and cooked perfectly. Definitely a spot we'd come back to again!

Even when we weren't sure about which appetizers we wanted she allowed us to split appetizers- a small portion where we got to try the apps. We tried the tenderloin crostini which was delicious. Along with coconut shrimp. The shrimp were ginormous. And the sauces were so good. Our fav was the mango marmalade. The best bread I have ever had in my life!!!! You know how sometimes they bring a roll to the table for the table to share? Not here boyeeeee Each person gets their own roll. I don't even know how to explain this heavenly bread. It truly is the best beard I have ever had before. I would come eat here again JUST FOR THE BREAD. The crab cake is out of this world. Huge jumbo clumps. Also comes with a variety of sauces. The wasabi one was our favorite. You must order the crab cake! My husband got the ribeye rare and said it was the best steak he has had, and he eats a ton of steak. I got their off menu item of carne asada tacos. The meat was sooooo tender. They don't use flank steak they use a tenderloin and it just melts. The mushrooms were Devine. Glad I ordered the carne asada. The adult Mac and cheese was good but just good. Brussels sprouts were good (not the best I have had) but I think I was also just so full by this point. The asparagus is huge!!! Oh the best finisher ever- the peanut butter pie!!!! OMG!!!!!!!!!! I'm not even a dessert girl and I couldn't stop eating it. First time me and my husband were fighting over the last bite.

We made reservations for dinner here on a Saturday evening. We were seated in a cozy booth and were greeted by multiple waitstaff. I ordered a Strawberry Basil Lemonade Mocktail. It was nice and tart and wound up being a perfect complement to my meal. For a starter, we got the Hot Artichoke and Spinach dip. It was magnificent! You could really tell the flavor was rich due to the cream cheese. It came with some lavash chips and the hearty crunch paired beautifully with the creaminess of the dip. For an entree, I got the fish tacos. They were stellar, and I enjoyed every component, from the chipotle tortillas to the fried fish- it was excellent! It also came with a chilled orzo salad with a basalmic dressing- it was so refreshing and was just as good the next day as part of my leftovers. The portioned were generous so it was enough for 2 full meals for me which makes this an incredible value. I was so stuffed that I didn't have room for dessert, but perhaps next time I'll give it a whirl. Overall Woodlands American Grill was excellent in every regard. The service was great, the food exceptional and the value was top-notch! Definitely coming back soon!

Ohhh buddy, let me tell ya--this place is an absolute beauty, eh!…read more So I popped into the Maple Leaf Diner down in Dallas, and I gotta say, it felt like I'd been teleported straight to the Great White North... just with a bit more Texas sunshine, eh? First up, the pirogies--holy moly, these little pockets of joy were just unreal. Perfectly soft, stuffed to the brim, and fried up just right. I'm pretty sure if my tasted these, she'd give a polite nod and say, "Not bad, eh?" Then came the pot roast poutine, and let me tell ya--this isn't just food, it's a life experience. You've got those crispy fries, squeaky cheese curds (as they should be, eh!), and gravy so rich it could probably pay rent in Toronto. And then--BAM--tender pot roast on top. I nearly stood up and sang "O Canada," no joke. Now the Canadian Eggs Benedict? Ohhh, beauty. The peameal bacon was thick, juicy, and cooked just right, sittin' pretty under those poached eggs with hollandaise sauce that was smoother than a fresh sheet of ice. Absolute perfection, eh. And don't even get me started on the everyday breakfast. Classic, hearty, and no funny business--just how we like it. Eggs done right, toast that actually tastes like toast (imagine that!), and portions big enough to fuel ya through a full day of shovelin' snow... or, you know, strolling around Dallas. All in all, Maple Leaf Diner absolutely crushed it. Let me tell ya, the service was so fast and smooth, I thought I was dreaming eh. Great food, friendly vibes, and enough Canadian charm to make ya wanna say "sorry" when someone else bumps into you. 10/10, would recommend--now pass the syrup, eh?
