This place is not good. I came here with my husband and he felt the same way. Highly over priced for the food quality and quantity. The concept of the quesadillas with with meat in between (I forgot the actual name of the dish) is amazing but poorly executed. I was expecting more from this place but l honestly feel this is a great spot for those who like to drink. To come here for actual food is a big no no. The meat was not seasoned well and the chile or salsa that was on the tacos was just not good at all. I give it two starts because the service wasn't bad and the tortilla was crispy on the edges but soft in the middle and that was good but that's as far as it goes. read more

4/5 stars for now. Went on a Sunday, with family, right before it got super busy. Sign said wait to be seated but we weren't exactly greeted by anyone at the entrance so we ended up seating ourselves shortly after. Waiter came by and gave us menus and left. He came back about 5 mins later and We ordered to drink the miche Way drink (it's delicious btw). I ordered two of their tacos way de pollo (pretty good and similar to a mulita) Also we ordered the papasWay and those were delicious. The service was okay but could improve. Location is not big so big parties may have to wait awhile to be seated. Other than that, I would come back again! They have some pretty cool drinks I want to try and other food platters to choose from! read more

We come here a lot for the ceviche and it is usually pretty good. The last couple of times it was not as good. The fish was warm. And when you are eating ceviche, it needs to be ice cold. So, now we eat at Los 7 Mares where the ceviche is ice cold and delicious. read more

This place is bomb! The PapsWay was covered with nacho cheese, quacamole sauce, any meat you want and more and they use thick cut fried which males it even better. The TacosWay are good too but not as good as ones I've had done like that at other places. Place is tiny though. If you really like carne fries come here! read more

This place is so good. They have found a really creative way to reintroduce mexican food. I ordered a taco way and a protein taco and they were absolutely delicious. My brother ordered the papas way which were also really good but the meat did have a little too much fat for his liking. The employees were really nice and made my first experience a good one. Came because of all the Instagram post I had seen. Tried the tacos and papas and they were okay. You should defiantly share the papas with someone atleast for me it was a lot to eat. Small little spot compared to other locations but perhaps the best location. I was here yesterday & the food was amazing! The salsas have a lot of flavor and they even add beans to your chips. The cashier was friendly and attentive. Quick service. It is super small though, and the parking sucks but it's worth it. Try and find parking on the street. read more

Let me start off by saying that halfway through our meal, my daughter said, "I want to come here again." She reiterated her request as we were leaving. In fact, I heard at least a few of the customers raving about the food. Tacos Way is Mexican comfort food as it should be. The highlight for me was the al pastor torta. The bun was nicely toasted, adding a crunch to the sandwich and the fillings were very flavorful. We also had the asada burrito, which was also delicious but just a tad much on the juicy side, resulting in the dreaded burrito leakage. Their signature item, the Tacos Way, is like a cross between a taco and a quesadilla. The service here is awesome as well. Seating is cramped and the parking lot looks really sketch, but if you're in the neighborhood, this place is definitely worth checking out. read more

This place is great! Their carne asada burrito is one if the best I had in a long time, there's simply no good Mexican food outside of down town L.A. and the valley definitely sucks in that aspect. Tacos Way is an oasis in a desert of mediocrity, the only thing that comes close is Chipotle's, and honestly I think this has a bit more flavor, and as many of you know Chipotle is awesome. read more

Canoga Park native here and I have been coming to this Mexican food joint since before it was Tacos Way and was a different Mexican food place owned by a lady named Alicia. Tacos Way is delicious... This place has good food and great deals! The owner makes sure his customers come first always. The only thing I don't like it is that the place looks hidden other than that I've got nothing. Went to the location in Northridge. I food was mediocre at best. We got 4 al pastor tacos way and nachos. The meat was undercooked and honestly we only got a few pieces of meat. It did not taste or look good at all. To top it off my mother and I got sick after eating there food. I will never be returning worst taco place ever. I really don't understand the bad reviews on here. Went here with a co-worker for lunch and we were immediately greeted upon arrival. We shared an order of the carne asada fries and they did not disappoint. They were really good and the portion was more than enough for two. Also ordered some of the tacos and they were very tasty. OMG! Best burritos in town. The place has fast service and I love the staff. The place always plays the best music and it's always crowded on weekends with people dancing. The bar serves amazing drinks as well. The place is nicely designed and I love the theme. The food isn't sickening with oils and greasy foods like other Mexican restaurants. Great tacos. I really liked the flavor of the salsas. Decent amount of indoor seating (5-6 wooden booths), ventilation was not too good. Really warm in there. Parking is good and they take credit cards which is awesome. A lot of taquerias don't, which I get n don't get. I will go back n try more on the menu n update this review.
