Tan had great service and a great atmosphere. I loved how our big group was seated quickly and in a low traffic area. I got the mango curry chicken and it was okay. I wish I had gotten a higher spice level. Also one of our friends let me try her goat in mango curry and I was immediately jealous. The flavor of the curry didn't taste the name nor did it even look the same color as my chicken curry. If I go back, the goat in mango curry is what I'm getting hands down. I like how versatile their menu is as well. They have something for everyone here. So even if someone doesn't prefer Indian food they can easily find something to eat at this location.

This was a good experience, inside was really well put together. The place was very clean and smelled very nice. The service was on the ball, they were very polite and attentive. The good was good, and I really enjoyed it. Overall a really good experience.

First Time Trying Indian Food -- I'm Hooked! I'll admit it--this was my very first time having Indian food, and I tried to play it cool. But from the moment I walked in, I knew I was in for something special. The vibe inside the restaurant is warm and welcoming, and it really set the mood for what turned out to be an amazing experience. My server was so friendly and helpful--she made me feel comfortable right away and made sure I had everything I needed without missing a beat. I ordered the chicken samosas, butter chicken, rice, and naan bread... and just, WOW. The samosas were crispy and flavorful (I'm already obsessed), and the butter chicken? Easily one of the best dishes I've ever had--creamy, rich, and packed with flavor. I'm definitely coming back--and next time, I'm bringing my whole family so they can experience this too.

The service is impeccable, which pairs well with the delicious menu. Ive only had the Indian dishes, and they have been of high quality and flavor. Don't be afraid to be adventurous with the spice level, they have plenty of water! They do their best to accommodate off menu items, so don't be afraid to ask if you don't see it on the extensive menu. The decor is interestingly super trendy and modern.

BAKLAVA that's perfectly balanced between satisfyingly dense and airy and flaky. Not too sweet either.

Taj is the best Indian restaurant I've had. Bar none. An amazing food extravaganza, especially with the number of options available. Everything was delicious, and our group of five had plenty to choose from and share. Of particular note are three chicken and lamb biryanis. You got to try the baklava too if you like dessert.

Food is not at ALL authentic. It's a mix up of Mexican & Indian. You can't put BBQ sauce on tandoori chicken and call it Tandoori. You have to add the spices that make it Tandoori. And the chicken curry was too tomato paste and had a spices that took over the dish.

We went with traditional souvlaki dishes which came with a delicious side salad. We added a hummus with pita bread appetizer and was served warm and tasty. Service was great and very attentive. Prices were very reasonable but seating for larger groups nay want to call ahead to confirm Aegean can accommodate your party. Great experience and look forward to our next visit.

I settled in for the fried shrimp, sweet potato fries and coleslaw, while Dawn had the Greek-shrimp salad. We were served quickly and the shrimp was fresh and cooked nicely. I like my fries just a little more crispy than what I received, but they weren't bad. The slaw was good, with just a hint of dill in the mix. Dawn absolutely loved her salad, it was seasoned just right according to her. Everyone was friendly, the waitress made sure we were okay, and the ambience was good. We were the only people in the restaurant at dinner time which was a little concerning. The fried green tomatoes were good with their house sauce. My shrimp and cheese grits were good, but just good. The house sauce was put in the bowl, but in my opinion it ruined the simple cheese grits and shrimp. Honestly, less is more. This bowl had a lot of the house dipping sauce, cheddar cheese and goat/feta like cheese, green onions, and bacon. The shrimp was good. I got the Petite bowl and it came with 5 shrimp and 4 hushpuppies. The hushpuppies were just okay. Not much flavor. Would have liked the dipping house sauce on the side of that rather than poured in my got bowl. My boyfriend got the tacos and they were huge! The tacos were pretty good! No complaints there. He got hushpuppies too and got a side of the house sauce. Overall, I think I'd rather try another local restaurant next time.

First The Menu Bait-and-Switch Their website menu and a customer-posted menu are identical both promise pita bread and tzatziki with entrees. We ordered based on that. When we called after getting home asking where these items were, they claimed it was "an old menu posted by a customer." Except their website/menu online says the same thing. Either fix your menus or stop lying to customers. The Portions were pathetic when told they were good sized and oh man the food was Flavorless! For $79 + tip, we got portions embarrassingly small. The grape leaves? Cold, wet, and bland could barely eat three. The rice was lifeless. The $37 "Fish of the Day" tilapia had ZERO flavor and no lemon even basic Mediterranean cooking demands lemon. The $30 salmon kabob was mediocre-sized and barely filling. Everything tasted like it was prepared with zero seasoning and zero effort and no soul. We had to season our own food at home. Our server was too busy with personal conversations to help properly. When handing us our to-go food, she literally said, "I didn't put gratuity on there but you guys can if you want" like she was doing us a favor by separating the hot items from the cold. We tipped anyway because we're good Samaritans when it comes to eating out. When we complained by phone, the response was hollow: "I'll let the Owner know to fix it" the only positive thing: Location is easy to find. That's literally it. The building is rundown, interior cramped with tables crammed together, decor is mediocre at best. Do yourself a favor and skip this place. Better Mediterranean restaurants exist all over Destin. This is a cautionary tale of poor execution, dishonest practices, and staff that clearly doesn't care. 1/5 Stars - Never returning.
