    Chicken Tikka Masala ($15.99)

Date: Tuesday, December 23rd, 2025 Meal: Lunch Delivery Time Ordered: around 2:30pm Time Delivered: about 30 mins later Ordered Thru: DoorDash Neighborhood Delivered to: Outer Richmond *Chicken Tikka Masala ($15.99) *Garlic Naan ($3.99) *Onion Kulcha ($3.99) *Samosa ($5.99) I wanted some comfort food. Since I was on my own, I decided to get some Indian. Taj is pretty close to my place so delivery was quick. I can't recall if they were doing happy hour specials on DD at the time or if I had some kind of credit, but I ended up getting a $16.60 discount. With tax, tip, fees, and a $1.14 credit, this meal ended up being just under $20. Not bad for a solo lunch with leftovers. The tikka masala was nice and creamy. I like my curry with heat, so found myself wishing it was spicier. The naan were both soft and chewy. I love garlic, so liked that one slightly more. The samosas were soft on the inside and crispy outside. I found the mint chutney super salty which took away the refreshing aspect of it. Convenient and fast indian delivery if in Outer Richmond. Plus, the price was right. REVIEW #3945

The food I had at this restaurant was very good. The rice dish I had was very well done. The service was very friendly and the overall ambiance of the place was very fancy for an Indian restaurant. I highly recommend this place. I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars . I may stop by this place the next time my parents visit San Francisco!

they seated my party of 10 at 9pm which was very nice and also the restaurant only had two other patrons and a lot more people ordering takeout. quite a spacious restaurant and they had christmas lights all over which made it very cute on the inside. the food took maybe 20 mins to come out, but it was piping hot. chicken tikka masala mild 3/5 - not spicy and not salty enough. they also missed this the first time i ordered so everyone's food was out and then mine came out 10-15 mins later (they might have just given me the butter chicken tbh) garlic naan 4/5 - good naan nice and crunchy and flag butter chicken medium 3/5 - not spicy, cooked well paneer kebab - too salty, sizzling plate was nice cuz it was hot. good texture nice and thick paneer fried chicken momo 4/5 - crisped up is better than the steamed on not sure if they just didn't want to give us spicy to save us, but the dishes definitely lacking the spice lacked some taste and was quite bland.

Once again we failed in idea of eating out. I picked up the order on Friday around 6ish. It's a second time we got food from here. This place was once a sushi boat restaurant. Then Chinese restaurant. I like trying new places and I care about local small businesses. They are a part of our community and structure as a whole. So here is the full review of the place. The inside is well lit and clean. Everything inside changes since the last time I stepped in this place. The outside is also repainted but still the same structural designs with windows and door in the exact same place. Only one person is there outside and only one table but loads of phone calls and Togo's. So I guess that is a good sign. I ordered Chicken Chow mein( I know but was curious) not bad to be honest. Very flavorful and probably rather tasty than most Chow Mein I have ever tasted. Chicken is nice, tender with lots of curry flavor. Which is different if you like Indian spices. I also got Chicken Tikka Masala. That one is tender and enough of spice that doesn't overwhelm you. Chicken tandoori was another good one. This place actually kept their eyes out on not burning it. So I can actually tasted all their chicken without burnt taste. Their Garlic Nan and Paneer is very tasty. Soft and delicious. Not at all burnt on any of the pieces. I got some rice too and it's filled top of the box. The gentleman that is there gave me some extra tamarind chutney with no charge which is very nice of him. The price is about right which I am sure it will go up once the word gets out about it

Indian Food is my jam. This spot I am giving a 4/5 as my Indian food bar is insanely high being that I've been to about a million spots. The food is reasonably priced here and the staff is friendly and attentive. The Veggie Pakora was my favorite out of the items. The chicken tikka masala was good, on the sweet side but I don't mind that at all. The garlic naan was nice and fresh. The chai was decent. Had a nice cardamom kick to it. The ambiance was calm and place was clean. I would go back.

What is left of my delicious dinner because I was too excited to take a picture before I ate.

This place is great. We came in because we had to stay in the city for a few days going to the hospital. I needed to have a low iodine diet, no salt, dairy or seafood. After checking everyone's menu and calling and asking, they said they could accommodate me for the evening, They did and my chicken tandoori and naan bread all made with no salt or dairy was delicious. The people were all awesome happy people and the food was delicious. I will give this restaurant a 10 out of ten for food and service. Highly recommended if you are in San Fransico looking for great Indian food.

The food is amazing here! I love love love the butter chicken! I know it's basic but it's just SO good! Full of flavor! I really want it spicy and we ordered medium spicy but it wasn't spicy at all I ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala before and ordered spicy and it was SPICY but so GOOD (they also have a level of extra spicy too!)! I'll get extra spicy butter chicken next time! I love their pakoras. So crunchy and great flavor especially with their mint chutney! Can't go wrong with the garlic naan. I'm usually not a fan of saag but their lamb saag was pretty decent! Creamy, flavorful and the meat was tender! The chicken could be better from the chow mein, it was a little greasy but flavorful as a dish. The chicken was tough but still flavorful. I think it could've been better if it were thighs instead of breast. Wasn't juicy. I was very disappointed in the Momo's , first I thought it was gonna be deep fried but it was covered in sauce which defeats the purpose. I thought the chili would be in the filling. And it was too doughy. The filling was good though. I had the samosa another time as well and that was good! I do hope this restaurant stays open bc I never see it busy please support this restaurant! The food is pretty good! They could have music in the restaurant as it's so quiet especially when there's nobody inside

I'm a regular customer at this restaurant, and my usual orders are Lamb Biryani and Rasmalai. The best dishes here are the Chicken Chow Mein, Chef's Special Lamb Curry, and their Biryanis. The Chicken Chow Mein stands out with its rich Nepali-style flavors totally different (and better!) than typical Chinese fried noodles. After the meal, I always treat myself to something sweet, and their Rasmalai is hands-down the best it's my signature favorite! The server (a young lady) was very energetic and explained the menu thoroughly. The service at this restaurant is truly excellent!

I thought a place called Naan and Pizza was worth a try! And they JUST opened a month ago so we wanted to give them some business. My friends had Door Dashed a pizza but the delivery menu was much more limited so they were excited to go try it out in person. The restaurant is clean and decorated in a way that doesn't really point to the type of food they serve. But the tables were all laid out nicely. There are a TON of choices on the menu that are Indian-food focused. There were a variety of appetizers, Tandoori specials, chicken, lamb, vegetarian, seafood, biryani and appetizers. The pizza menu offered the classics (Hawaiian, garlic chicken), but also offered Tandoori chicken and Desi BBQ chicken. There were so many options it was a little overwhelming. We settled on the Goat Cheese Naan, Aloo Tikki Chat, Tandoori Chicken plate and Coconut Curry Chicken. EVERYTHING was delicious!! The naan was flavorful and came with a yummy dipping sauce. The Aloo Tikki Chat was something I've never eaten but it was delicious. The Tandoori chicken was a little dry for my liking. I took a big bite and it required some water to help me get it down. There wasn't a dipping sauce for it. The Coconut Curry Chicken was amazing. The chicken in that dish fell apart - it was so tender. And the rice that came with it was fluffy. I appreciated that the server came out and asked for the level of spice for the curry (my dish). I told him I could take some kick, but wanted to still be able to taste the food. There wasn't much spice to it, but that was okay, too, We were impressed overall. The portion sizes were great for the price. Everything is getting so expensive nowadays! You should definitely give this restaurant a try! They were empty when we came in on a Saturday night at 7 and we saw 2 to-go orders come through. They're just starting out so spread the word so that they get a genuine opportunity to make it!!

I got half Butter Chicken and half Palak Chicken on my pizza and it was delicious. Also, something about their crust was so good. It was chewy but it a good way and the crust wasn't overbearing. If I had any feedback though, I wish the flavors were more intense. I really wanted to be hit with the Indian flavors. But I'm assuming the toppings that they use are also what they serve as à la carte which I think the flavors get diluted when added with bread, cheese, and a bunch of other toppings. Also, I wish it was spicier! I got raita (yogurt sauce) on the side. I think all Indian Pizza places should serve raita on the side of their pizzas. I'll be coming back and trying their other pizzas.

This fairly new restaurant is super cute, cozy and had that authentic vibe upon entry. We were greeted warmly, then scored the awesome super sized table near the window because of our party of 6. Overall, the place felt homey and I appreciated that we were able to have a lively conversation without having music or typical restaurant noise to compete with. Our order: The Momo platter $17 Explosive chicken $14.95 Sherpa mix grill $23.70 Kukhura lamb tulsi $20.95 Chicken makhmali $20.95 Shrimp biryani $20.95 Dudh chiya $3.95 Mango lassi $4.95 18% gratuity was automatically added, which brought our total bill to $165.22 Portion wise, I have to say each dish was small and between the 6 of us, we were really only able to get a few bites of each dish. I also found that most of the flavors were not very strong, as I'm typically used to. I do have to admit that our party had request mild in the heat level but even the garlic naan was pretty bland and it didn't taste or smell like garlic, even though we could visibly see lots of garlic flakes on the naan. My dudh chiya was also lacking in tea essence, ginger, cloves and cardamom -- basically tasted like steamed milk... I wish I was more impressed as I did appreciate the warm service and overall ambiance.

"Authentic" is one of those words that gets thrown around in reviews of ethnic restaurants without…read moremuch thought behind it. People use it to mean tasty, or familiar, or just different from a chain. That's not what I mean when I use it. To me, authentic means the food isn't pretending to be something it's not, that the flavors and intention come from a real place: heritage, roots, memory. My benchmark is simple. When someone who grew up eating this food says it tastes like home, that's the review that matters. That's the one I trust. Keeva earns that word. Rita is the heart of it, but Keeva is a family labor of love and you feel that from the moment you walk in. When the restaurant first opened she told us about the dream they had to bring the taste of home to the people of San Francisco, and you could feel it. Her kids were often playing in the restaurant when we'd stop by. That kind of detail tells you everything about what this place is. What made me a regular wasn't just the food, which is delicious, it was Rita coming to every table, checking in, teasing us about why she hadn't seen us in a while, steering you toward something you hadn't tried yet. She didn't do this selectively for certain customers. She did it for everyone. That kind of warmth is rare, and it's the whole reason eating out is worth doing in the first place. The dishes are made with intention. You can taste the difference between food that was assembled and food that was cooked with purpose. Keeva is the latter. And if you ask for spicy, prepare yourself. I used to live about a block away and this was my go-to. Moving out of the Inner Richmond meant leaving Keeva behind, and I genuinely miss it. If you're in the neighborhood, what are you waiting for? If you're not, it's worth the trip!

For food we got the following: -Dahi Sev Puri - this was my favorite dish, really fun to eat and great flavors. -Chole Bhature - this was also great! The puffy bread was sooo delicious and the chickpeas were perfectly seasoned and delicious. -Bhel Puri - this dish was unique and was a good size portion, but not as flavorful as the other two dishes. It felt like eating a savory rice crispy cereal, but not in a bad way :P -Garlic Naan - pretty decent but nothing special -Jalebi - I was really excited to try this dessert. I looooved the texture (crunchy outside, with a gooey inside) but the actual flavor was not my favorite. To me, it tasted very similar to chlorinated water, and it was hard to get past that.. There was a different jalebi with a dipping sauce, and I wonder if that would have been better. They were out of it when we went, but I would try it again with that. Overall a really great restaurant, and definitely a place to try out if you're wanting a more unique Indian dining experience!
