Easy 5 stars for so many reasons. The food is delicious and a wide selection of items will keep me coming back several times to try new things. Also, the prices are extremely reasonable for the quality of food that you get. The mission of this restaurant is another reason this place is top notch. They help women coming out of incarceration get back on their feet and reintegrate into society. This can be such a daunting task for these women and often they are unable to find suitable work. I was not in Tulsa when the previous restaurant was open, so I can't comment on whether the food is the same quality.. but what I will say is that they serve a dang good sandwich! my coworkers & I came during peak lunch hour, so we waited in line for about 7 minutes or so, but that was fine with me because I most definitely needed that time to look over the menu. once we got to the counter, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. the noise level in here can get quite loud - think Fassler's over La Madeleine - so I wouldn't go here for a lunch meeting. food. because that's what it's about, right? I had a tasty turkey sandwich with their tabouli.. to which I will award 5 stars for this side. SO good. and unlike any other taboulis I've tried. apparently their peanut butter pie is something seriously good, so I will have to come back for that! and the mission.. 5 x 555 stars for that. LOVE that they are giving back by providing jobs for previously incarcerated women. worth a visit, for sure! read more

I went to Take 2 for lunch with a friend for whom it was her first time eating here. While the menu offers a variety of items, not to mention their pie is the best, the prices are extremely high for those of us who like to enjoy and support local businesses and are on a budget. I was disappointed to see my total be $15.13 for a 1/2 BLT and soup and a piece of pie. The soup cup was only half full (I didn't notice this until I had walked back to my desk and sat down to eat). My overall experience - especially for the price, was disappointing. I can't honestly say that I will recommend eating there for lunch if you are on a strict budget. read more

My hubby works downtown and he gets to eat all sorts of lunch places that I never go to. (Don't feel too sorry for me, he's envious I get to do all my paperwork from the comfort of my home). He's been talking about this place w/the awesome prime rib sandwich and the "worlds greatest cheesecake." So I was excited when Yelp recently announced an elite event here and RSVP'd immediately. I absolutely love this place. The women here are remarkable. Their service is heartfelt and enjoyable. My favorite things to eat include the banana bread French toast dipped in cinnamon and sugar with with whipped cream topping. My other favorite is a part of the lunch menu the Turkey club wrap. Yummy. Turkey bacon and cheese dressed with mayo lettuce and tomato, on a tomato basil wrap grilled just a minute is divine. I give them 6 stars. read more

I can't even wait to finish my sandwich... this Prime Rib aus jus sandwich is legit. The meat is delicious with good flavor and and au jus i could drink straight it's that good. Normally French bread is so hard and it tears up the roof of my mouth, but this is perfect. I just stumbled upon this place in my business travels and clearly timed it right. I came in at about 11:35 and there was no line. 10 minutes later it is 27 deep. I now look forward to my next trip back to Tulsa. Only problem is what to order??? This sandwich I know is amazing, or the BLT I want to steal from the guy next to me. read more

This place has been on my radar for months and finally got the chance to try it. Prime Rib sandwich was the suggested item to get which I did and was not disappointed. Not only is the food good but the service was as well. I don't mind supporting good causes, even if the product is not remarkable but this place is the exception! Take 2: a Resonance Cafe(aka the Impressions Revival)!!!! If you've worked or had lunch downtown in the past 10+ years then there's a high probability you've dined or at least heard of the famous Impressions restaurant that unfortunately closed around 4 years ago due to some medical complications of the chef and owner. It was an extremely sad time for all who frequented the restaurant but lucky for downtown Tulsa and Take 2, Tom Butcher is back and his food is just as great as ever! Resonance is a local non-profit that aims to decrease the population of female incarcerations through deferral programs, employment assistance and substance abuse programs. Not only is their restaurant, Take 2 giving so many women the opportunity to get their lives back on track they're satisfying the tummies of all who visit!! Try any of their hot or cold sandwiches such as the Reuben, turkey or chicken salad, sides of tabouli or potato salad, make your own salad bar, or homemade cakes and pies for dessert. There's only one thing you really HAVE to remember. If you're hoping to get your hands on their legendary, medium rare prime rib sandwich piled atop a chewy, crunch fresh bread and served with a side of piping hot au jus and horseradish....GO EARLY!!! There's nothing sadder than your hunger and anticipation building all morning only to find out their beloved prime rib has been devoured by the happy customers who beat you to the punch! I love this place. Famous for Tom's delicious and substantial sandwhiches like the prime rib au jus and his cream pies, but also some great salads and soups. I remember when Take 2 opened earlier this year -- the wait during the lunch hour could be pretty long and that kept some of my friends and coworkers from considering it. But the last couple of times I've been there the line was a little shorter and moved fast! read more
