Awesome service! I was greeted when I drove up and offered a complementary water. I stayed in my car as I waited for my turn for my oil change. Throughout my wait, the guys - Jay, Zach, Jayden, Alec - kept me updated. When it was my turn, every step was explained and I was given options to fit my budget. All four gentleman were friendly and informative. Jay explained what Zach and Jayden were working on and Alec asked for permission to unhook my glove compartment so he could check my cabin filter. Jay and Alec showed me my filters so I could make the choice if I could needed new ones. I was included in every step and the guys were perfect gentleman! It was EXTREMELY fast, informative, and friendly. The manager, Cody, was the one I spoke with through the whole time and he was outstanding. Not only was he down to earth and honest (as a result, I didn't even realize he was a manager), he helped educate me about certain aspects of my vehicle, offered to clean my window, got me water, and all while being as safe as possible during COVID which I appreciate a ton. My experience with him and his treatment makes me want to come back here every time I need an oil change. He deserves a ton of praise! read more

So far, so good! I had a coupon for a $25 oil change and when I got there they informed me it was ladies day (what?!) and I get an extra 15% off...wow! lol Not to mention, it literally took about 10 minutes, they changed the filter (just a $2 charge), checked my tires AND gave me several complimentary car fresheners. It's time to have another oil change, and luckily the line isn't very long. Upon arrival, I was greeted, given cool water, and was given an estimated time of getting started. Even though it took longer than expected, it didn't bother me because all hands were working and it was extremely hot outside. Once I entered the bay in my car, the crew tended to each car while talking to each customer. Essentially, my oil change was a pleasant experience and I saved 10 dollars off of the total bill which was expensive due to the age of my vehicle. This location offers quick and friendly service. So far I never had any issues after my car was service. You pull in and they ask you what service do you want. You.coose the service, oh yeah get you coupons before the service begins. They offer complimentary bottle ice water to ya. Wash your windshield etc. I got out of there super fast. There were a few cars in the bays in front of me so I waited for a bit but they were so kind and accommodating. Not only did they assist me with my car but they shared information with me so I am informed and can keep up with my necessary car repairs. This review will be short. I'd say more, but I've never actually had my oil changed here. I've pulled into the driveway twice where the sign clearly says, "Please stay in your car." I did that both times and have yet to be greeted or even acknowledged that I was there during a total waiting time of about 5 minutes. A greeting and, "...be right with you," is not difficult. My guess is that there is no manager on site and certainly no owner. I'm very familiar with the fast oil change business and every car is an opportunity. I guess they have enough opportunities. If I could give 0 stars I would!!! I usually get my oil changed here and the last time I did they didn't do it correctly and my car was leaking oil from the drain plug and now my car has engine damage. I found out because I went to a jiffy lube and they didn't want to change my oil and said they didn't want to be reliable for any damage and to take it back to the last place that changed my oil because they messed up. I will never come back here again. I have had at least five oil changes there. Last night I went to have my oil changed as well as have a state inspection. The man informed me they were turning people away because they already had a very long line and they would be an hour after work. I do understand that. He also informed me the man who does state inspections was not there this evening. Today when I returned the man who came up to my car towed not allow them to remove the state inspection sign even though there is not an inspector there. When I told him how upsetting that was what the man told me last night and there was a sign up I said to him it is deceitful and they should remove the sign. He said he knew this but his boss would not allow it to be removed. Basically they lied and they have deceived the public thinking they have state inspections because of not removing the sign. I will never return to give them my business ever again. read more

I usually only have great things to say about any take 5, today was the worst. I arrived around 10:35am to get an inspection and was told (by someone who didn't have a name tag or even a uniform on,no hate on his hustle I just don't have a name for this young man.) That my wait was 45 minutes. I was til to park my car in the corner and so I did. I then stepped out of my car (I was not going to have my car run gas in park) then when I came back (AFTER CALLING 10xs TO SEE IF I SHOULD COME BACK) there were 4 cars in line for inspection. I understood that I should've waited. HOWEVER. The customer service by the gentleman named STEVEN was EXTREMELY RUDE. Told me "why didn't you just stay in your car? You should've just stayed, etc. in a very condescending tone. Customer service is about how people are treated and also on our part as customers to to them well too. He went on to continue to point at my car to his coworkers and stare/glare at me through my wait in line. It's currently 11:55 and I've been here for OVER AN HOUR. This is terrible. read more

Nothing like the "woman in charge" yelling at you upon you driving up and continuing to talk down to you like you're not a paying customer. She apologized and provided a free water bottle and a few coupons. Absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced. No one was outside to help me when I arrived so I pulled up and waited for someone and when a lady walked out she began to scold me for pulling into the lane. She spoke to me like I was a child treating me like an idiot and being very demeaning. I apologized but there was no one outside and no signs so clearly it was not my fault. Normally, I would give 5 stars. I have always experienced way more than above average service from Take 5. I definitely won't return in the mornings from now on, and I may not ever go back... Yes, I am THAT person, once scorned - I typically leave forever. I simply went to get an inspection. I sat outside in my car for a bit and when no one came out, I went into the facility and inquired if they do inspections. They do. The guy told me to provide him a paper insurance card to which I replied the insurance company does not send me one because Texas allows cards to be shown on a phone and I can show him the insurance on my phone. He said that he could not help me because I did not have a physical card to which I replied I could log on and print one for him if he allowed me to log on using his computer. His response was that as the facility provider, he was not allowed to do that for me. I tried to convince him that he was not doing anything, that I would log on and print my insurance for him but he insisted it was the law that I carry a paper copy in my auto and he could not assist me in any way. Well, to the ignorant jerk this morning... here is the legislation allowing me to carry my insurance on my phone and not a paper copy... http://www.statutes.legis.state.tx.us/Docs/TN/htm/TN.601.htm Please see section 601.081 Apparently this occurred WAAAAYYY back in 2013. Don't bother getting your state inspection here. They have a policy to change oil of all other cars first before doing your inspection. Although they did warn me of this policy and told me it would be a 30-40 minute wait, it has been over an hour. I am still sitting here waiting, while I have watched them change the oil of several cars who arrived after me. A first-come, first-served served customer service policy would be more fair, but apparently they make more $$$ off of oil changes. read more

We went here today for the first time for an oil change (4pm on a Monday) and there was no other customer there. We were greeted by Rex with bottled water and told to drive in. We sat in the car and popped the hood. The crew didn't waste any time and started working while Rex took our information. The air filter was quite dirty, so they explained why it is good to have a clean air filter, but they did not push us to change it. Since we were planning to have a long drive soon, we decided to go ahead and change it. We were very impressed with how they communicated and confirmed every action with each other as if they were performing surgery. When they were done, they even showed us the oil measuring rod to confirm that the oil was indeed changed. That gave us peace of mind. We have heard horror stories where some places forgot to fill the oil. If only every place could run like a well-oiled machine (pun intended) as this place! Efficient and hassle-free. Excuse #1: We are sort of busy, and we prefer you come back another time. Excuse #2: Our inspection employee went home already. Excuse #3: Our inspection machine is down.
