Let me start by saying the employees are great. This does not include the manager. I have been getting oil changes at this location since before it was a Take 5. (about 14 years) I pulled in with what i thought was a flat tire to get air so i could go get another tire. I was greeted by 2 very nice employees that were trying to help me. Manager came out and put a stop to that. Said they couldn't help, and whomever was going to help couldn't do it on their property. I had to move the car on the rim because the tire was blown. I asked if I really had to move the car and he rudely stated for the guys to get back inside, and there were no customers at that time. And, yes i had to move the car off the property and that was the end of discussion. Wow, no reason for him to act like that. So, while I was waiting for my friend, I called corporate and told them what happened and that I would never go back there or to any Take 5 if that is how they treat long time customers. I was told a District Manager would call me to follow up and nothing. Now i know where the manager got his customer service skills. I have never had a problem with this location, but I am done. And, I had to ask for air for the spare and the manager did it but with the continued attitude. And apparently they only comment on the good reviews if they even comment. read more

The value was worth it especially for an oil change process from a corporate chain you get good quality work guaranteed. Take 5? More like take 55. I sat in the bay for 30 minutes with a 2 year old while these 2 guys are selling this blonde girl every uncharged possible. Usually I don't mind but I brought my 2 year old shopping with me before we stopped here not expecting an oil change to take over an hour. Now my frozen stuff is thawed and my kid is going nuts. If I knew it was going to take so long I wouldn't have come here. This is the second time this has happened at this location and I figured it was a one off. Also they took of my BMW car's emblem on the hood. when I asked if they changed the o rings or not, the rep unprofessional and was not responding to my request for clarification. I feel cheated. This place used to be called something else. Express lube, maybe!? I only bring it up because whatever it was before, it was much friendlier. My gal pal and I both needed inspections. When she arrived, attendant wouldn't do the inspection because her proof of insurance didn't have some magic language. Didn't matter that she'd just shown this same paper to the police a couple weeks ago and they considered it proof of insurance. She took her business elsewhere. I showed up about 20 mins later, ready for my inspection. Rudely, he tells me to get out of the car so he can "brake test" it. As I'm walking inside, the attendant puts the hammer down, tearing ass out and around the corner like he's leaving a NASCAR pit. A few minutes later, he walks into the lobby where I'm waiting. He doesn't say anything....and then ...rudely, "7 dollars!" Totally one of those people that, if you get too close to him, your heart might freeze. It was a whole new level of cold and impersonal. Honesty, I'm not even sure he really did the inspection. I know inspections are quick, but this was too quick. The time it took me to pay was longer than he took to inspect the vehicle... Called ahead of time and gave me a price of $62 for Castro Synthetic and they up charged me saying they didn't have Castro when we arrived. To make it worse they didn't honor the 25% military discount even with military plates and decals. Had to call my husband to bring his ID. The little guy was upset of the delay in getting his ID. I was emailed back And the manager was asking to take the google review off because it "wasn't fair" to their team. They were unfair to me and during the time another customer. Off the clock employee was fired that day too for being in my car "under the influence" This Happened 4/12 To keep things short about it as I can. Came here cause I was recommended. Pft. Yesterday went to get an oil change around 1230. Got there, one the employees looked like he was trippin, water was given, service the first time round wasn't too bad. They go under, they tell me my coolant was leaking, alright don't worry about it. They get done with the service, show me the oil dip stick, wipe it away like as soon as I look at it and say clean oil, said it was good, alright whatever. I leave the light goes off, I do some errands, the light is flickering on and off with each stop I do. I went to get coolant, told the guy at the auto one he came to double check, coolant is leaking but not bad abs my levels are good, but there seems to be oil or something else. The light is back on, I call up my friend she was a short drive from me so she said let me see if the light just wasn't tripping or soemthing. I get to her place and my car was smelling like smoke wasn't like that before. We check the oil, nothing on the dip stick, her and her boyfriend check under and there's oil leaking, and coolant. I ask her to come with me back the the location, we get there and we tell them what was going on. Rob looked at her and said "You don't think we forgot to put the oil cap back on do you?" Huh?! Okay after they pull us up they say that they told me the first time that they had said there was a leak, no there wasn't, my oil wasn't leaking beforehand. We go back and forth things get lil heated because we started to get attitude from them, Chris the tech said that it was the oil pan from the jump, again, whenever I insisted there wasn't a leak before and they said there was, and that me driving off made it worse.they show me a video from underneath my car and it's spewing. Malcom offered me a hit off his weed pen, Rob called his boss they disappeared and then reappeared yelled at my friend across the garage about soemthing that had happened earlier, he was heated. If she's not clocked in, and in my car (paid customer) she is a customer too. Unprofessional to yell, handle that later. Told me that filing a claim or whatever wouldn't be worth it, y'all the last one to touch my car tho but whatever, they sent us to huebner and babcock, shout out to them, to do testing to see where the leak really was coming from. They go to "top" my oil off, Rob was upset clearly, showed me the dipstick quick, wiped right away, I asked twice to dip and see it again, he looked at me walked away, comes back dips it again turns the stick upside down snaps a picture puts it back says I'm good to go. Okay, I told him "I didn't want this to be a big thing, I just came back to get an explanation or something." Was there for an hour give or take. Things were ok till he copped an attitude with us that's when everything went sour. We leave get to huebner and Babcock, tell them what's going on they shake their heads cause they've said we're not the only ones from that location to come here, so they check, no oil again. Lift it, look, repeated to us 4 times because we asked, it was the oil filter they replaced it looked again, oil stopped coming from there, said it was the dipstick line now. Great. Bought the part I needed. Still need to keep an eye on the oil cause it's spewing. So today 4/13 Go to get it checked out, go to O'Reillys called ahead of time to ask if they'd be able to install it, had one employee look he said want for sure, went to get a second opinion, next employee said looks like the oil pressure switch, looks like it got broken. I call around for the part and take it to get it fixed. My car is fixed not leaking oil now. Full too. The girl that recommended there worked there, they fired her because she was "under the influence" In my car. Her boss told her to go get sober, over a message yesterday while I was trying to figure out what to do. There's more to that story but it's not mine. Not sure how this place can advertise itself as a 5 minute oil change place. Pulled in and waited behind a car for 40 Minutes and then it took an additional 20 minutes to go through the oil change. I came here for an inspection sticker so I can't comment on their lube (hehe) services. I came in the middle of the day and they weren't too busy. They had plenty of staff. The gentleman who helped me was really pleasant. He took my keys and started the inspection. It did take a little bit longer than I was expecting, the reason for that is I had to sign an affidavit because I was registering my car in a different county. The reason it took longer was because they couldn't find the form to fill out the affidavit. After they found it, I was charged an on my merry way. I do have to say, that I'm very impressed with how clean the interior and bathrooms were. Usually when you go into the mechanic, you do your best to avoid touching anything and you certainly don't go to the bathroom. This location was the exact opposite of that! I usually go to the Dezavala location. & boy do I wish I went there instead of trying a new location. I was getting a fresh oil change to make a journey where I was having a procedure. First of all I got there & was nicely greeted by Noah who informed me that there were only 3 employees on duty & that It would be about 15 min. I was then informed to turn my car off so the oil could cool before being worked on. Next thing I know I'm waiting in my hot car for over an hour. Was never offered a water & when I asked for one I was told they were out. By the time it was my turn I had been there for over an hour & a half. Where they went from 3 employees down to 2. Noah was a very nice boy & asked to start on my car while the other employee Mick was finishing the car in front of me. I felt a bit off about it but proceeded to have the patience & assurance that what needed to be done was getting done. Everything went smoothly so I thought, Noah showed me the air filter & did everything that needed to be done. I then asked for any compensation on how long it took for a Take 5 Oil Change & was then laughed at. It wasn't until I drove off that I noticed my car sounded funny & not normal at all. I proceeded to drive it 3 hours away to my destination and ended up taking it to the dealership I got it from to get serviced to see what was going on.
