Everything we've tried here is phenomenal. Super flavorful and activates my drooling. Keto takos are so good. Instead of a tortilla, it's a crispy cheese shell and if you're a fan of toasty cheese like me, you'll love these tacos. Chicken, asada & chorizo all very flavorful and well seasoned. Haven't tried any of the fish or shrimp yet but looking forward to it someday. Burritos are STUFFED. Rice, beans, choice of meat, cilantro, onions and we add the red (spicy) sauce to it. Only issue is they don't grill the burrito after stuffing it so the tortilla isn't toasted but that's just my personal preference. Jamaica is probably the only mid thing here. I like it a little stronger. Other than that, place is dope. Can get a little pricey, we eat a lot so we usually pay around $50 per visit and that's for 3 people, but so worth it. Nachos are good as well. Plentiful toppings and nice, even amount of chips. Balanced, I mean. Service is good too, friendly staff. This place is so delicious! When I was on keto , I got their keto takos! The tortilla was mad of cheese so it helped my diet! And I had protein with it! The salsas are delicious as well! I've never tried tacos fundidos elsewhere. I didn't know there were thing until I tried them here. They come, in a double tortilla with melted cheese in the middle, followed by asada with avocado and spicy salsa with grilled jalapeño pieces. I came by Takos last weekend when I was craving some birria. I ordered 2 quesabirria tacos & a medium horchata. The horchata wasn't that great. It was lacking cinnamon & sugar. I've definitely had better elsewhere. Maybe next time I'll try one of their other aguas frescas. The tacos were tasty. They were huge & filled with juicy birria, cheese, cilantro, & onions. Let's tako 'bout Takos! This hole in the wall taco spot was a pleasant surprise I had seen in passing pretty often, living close by, but I had never thought to check it out until learning of their keto items. I tried their keto taco with pastor and keto quesadilla with asada. The substitute for the tortillas was just fried cheese. The concept was really cool and meat was really good, but personally, I found it a bit oily. I know that's pretty much unavoidable with that amount of meat and cheese, but having your food wading and dripping in oil isn't the most pleasant experience. On the plus side, they serve the quesadilla with a generous scoop of fresh guac, and with their green salsa, both of these helped cancel out the oil. My bf did get one of their regular items, the California burrito. Solid, nothing bad to report here on this one! Price wise, everything was fairly priced. The keto items of course were a bit more on the high side, as expected, but I don't think anything too much more than the value of the food/quality. We waited about 15-20 minutes for our food, and service was decent. I'd love to come back and try more of their other regular items. Not too sure if I'd try the keto items again, but the quality of the meat is luring me back to try the other regular items. The tako-way? I came strictly for the flautas ahogadas because my girlfriend showed me a TikTok where they looked delicious. Let me tell you these flautas did not disappoint!!! I got the beef flautas but they have other meats to chose from, I will definitely be coming back to try the others. Once I finish the flautas the caldito left at the bottom gave a great ending to my meal. The flautas on the picture of their menu look small but do not be fooled they are actually pretty big. My girlfriend kept telling me how good the Horchata was, so I had to try it, and I can confirm it was. Keep in mind it's a very small place with only three tables inside, but the food makes up for it. So TikTok brought me here and there super flautas. The flautas were ok. They definitely were stuffed with the chicken not small at all. The quality of the carne asada that they top it with was not great. I payed $18 I believe just for the super flautas. My daughter got the birria trio and was impressed. Meat was tender. For some Reason the couldn't give us just cilantro on food without onions. Even when I asked for some because they didn't put on her tacos he gave me a foil full of cilantro and onions mixed. Ok, I see you Takos. Ive stayed away from this place for years, mainly due o lack of appeal and social media presence. But the glow up is real and iam here for it. Legit was the reason why i stopped by after watching a foodie in IG. They are surprisingly good. Like really good. Beef and potato mix, drowned in sauce, sour cream, avocado salsa and cabbage & cheese. Also had the taco Fundido. Soo much going on but it works. Melted cheese, choice of meat, avocado and a pepper for aesthetics haha Keto Taco is going to be a pass for me. It was good just way too much fried cheese. Too thick heavy. My only quarrels is not the flavor but the choices. For example, suggest a type of meat that would pair well with the taco. I know its up to customer but not everything vibes together sometimes. Just a regular Tuesday night, and walked into this joint due to a tiktok from a respected influencer. Firstly, parking is plentiful, but unnecessary. This joint has two tables inside, and two small tables outside. If you're planning on eating here, make sure you come with plenty of patience. The service is normal, nothing out of the ordinary. The menu is quite extensive, and easy to read. I ordered the flautas, and my counterpart ordered the 3 Doraditos. Although the flautas were interesting, I felt they were not as flavorful as I thought they would, especially for the price. Three skinny flautas for $12 plus tax seems a little pricey. My gf's birria taquitos, basically is what they were, also not as flavorful as the the previous ratings here have mentioned. Let me also state that since it was Tuesday, we were never offered taco Tuesday at all. We also saw three other customers come through, and they were never offered TT as well. Is taco Tuesday no longer offered? All in all, this spot is mediocre at best. Overpriced food, and not as delicious as previous ratings suggest. It is not an eat in spot, and the cashier has poor communication skills if there was a Taco Tuesday available. Last, I gave this restaurant two stars because they do not have public restrooms. My daughter was working in the area for the week so we met her for lunch. Someone at her company had mentioned Takos so we tried them out. My wife, daughter and I each got two tacos. I had the lengua and shrimp and I got to taste the carnitas and asada tacos that the girls ordered. The girls could only finish one taco each and we were able to take a couple of tacos home. Brother really enjoyed that! I should have started with the fact that the tacos we got were made with a cheese shell or tortilla. They have regular tacos too and on Tuesdays they have $1 regular tacos. The cheese shell tacos are more than most regular tacos but again, they're made with a cheese shell/tortilla instead of a regular corn tortilla. They promote Keto because they are lower carb than a corn or flour tortilla but they taste great to me and the family. I want to go back and try the Surf and Turf Fries. At $15 they look pretty big order from the pic but I would have ordered that if I had seen the offering before I ordered my tacos. Everyone inside were wearing masks and gloves and all the patrons that came in were wearing their masks.There are no restrooms for customers [a personal pet peeve for me] and there are no tables but I don't know if they had some pre-Covid.
