    Dirty Chai Latte
    Vidhi P.

I have been seeing this place pop up on my social media and had to go try it out when I was in the neighborhood. The cafe is pretty small inside but they have a seating patio on the street. The staff is nice and helpful and the cafe is well decorated. I had seen the mushroom coffee online, which was a bit disappointing. It didn't taste any different than a typical latte, but maybe the specialty is having it as a straight up black coffee. We also got a dirty chai, which was above average. The lattes were definitely pricy at about $8-9 for the total price including tax and tip. I wish the signage inside the cafe was better, as it was hard to spot the mushroom latte which wasn't on their main board. Their paninis were also not adequate displayed, and I wouldn't have really known what to order without asking. Overall okay, nothing crazy about the coffee here. It's a little far from downtown, but if you're in the area, it's a pretty good option.

Tallio came to my work office for Juneteenth. Really good coffee, lots of flavor. Owner enjoys connecting and conversing with customers as he prepares your order. Great attitude, friendly, and passionate for his work. Try it out!

Alton the owner is such a fresh breathe of air to speak with, and has so many cool projects coming up that make you want to take a pause and not rush to the next meeting. Although you can grab a coffee and run if needed. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This space is full of flowers and beautiful art to meet people and it feels like a hidden gem.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Thanks for the coffee bean recs! Looking forward to coming back.

Alton, Heem, and Mario were amazingly friendly and chill owner, worker, and social media manager, respectively. They are keen on re-introducing Tallio's in the neighborhood after a rough period during the height of the pandemic. With this great team, Tallio's is truly coming back strong as a foundational neighborhood coffee and breakfast eats staple in the local community. The shop itself is small but has a lovely, fully-shaded outdoor parklet. They offer free wifi for you to chill and do some work in, the ambiance is nice with lowkey R&B and hiphop music playing in the background. Generally quaint, I enjoyed sitting here reading with my dog in tow. I ordered the Turkey Panini and Iced Chagaccino Latte (yes, they do have Chagaccino here!!). The panini cane warm but not fatally hot, and it was slightly spicy and the cheese melt pulls into stringy goodness with every bite! It was like eating a less heavy pizza with sourdough bread and turkey, absolutely amazing. The Iced Chagaccino was amazing, just strong enough for that caffeine kick I needed, but also refreshing. I also like that they offered alternative milks. I also love that they support and sell crafts like ceramics and mugs by local artists in the Bay View neighborhood. I bought a beautiful jade green coffee mug by Shoshana Roodman while waiting for my freshly made "brunch" goodies. I will definitely be coming back, especially since it's a straight shot down the street or a short T Muni ride over! Thanks for having me, providing an introduction to your goods, and telling me about your small local business!

Cozy little cafe that's easy to miss! They don't have much space indoors for seating but a pretty spacious parklet area and some smaller outdoor dining tables. I had seen Tallio's advertised all over Instagram and decided to come in for a light brunch on a weekday morning. The biggest pull for me was that they have GARLIC NOODLES! I've never seen that in a coffeeshop before. They were super tasty with big chunks of fried garlic. I also loved how the spaghetti noodles were cooked perfectly al dente. Additionally they weren't drenched in oil/butter like some places make theirs. 5 stars just for the noodles! My bf tried a basic breakfast sandwich with egg and cheese. It's nice to have an options for the bread choices - the sourdough was great. The egg was clearly cooked in the microwave and a little rubbery so that's definitely an area for improvement. The owner was super kind and I love the mission statement of Tallio's: to provide high quality coffee and treats in historically underserved communities. While it's not in the most luxurious area, they are a shining beacon serving tasty food - definitely recommend if you find yourself in Bayview. Next time I'm looking forward to trying their coffee!

Tallio's is located in the Bayview/Hunter's Point neighborhood of SF & they are serving up my new favorite Lavender Latte, Turkey Paninis & Garlic Noodles! You also need to check out the Grilled Cheese Panini & their signature Ginger Brew! They are also known for their unique pastries like their delicious Hummingbird, Bourbon Caramel & Almond bread pudding cups! Not only does Tallio's serve up way more than your average coffee & tea shop but they are also focused on supporting their local community by supporting the non-profit buildOn & naming their coffee blends after marginalized communities. Tallio's is spreading so much positivity around the community, you have to check them out! The owner Olton has a great story and is such a sweet man! Everyone that works here is so friendly! I wish I lived in the city so I could come here every week and enjoy a great community staple!

Hidden neighborhood gem serving high quality coffee at neighbor friendly prices. Olton the owner (originally from Suriname) made me an exquisite latte and knows his coffee and teas! Ambience and background music are cultured and chill, and sits across the historic original SF Opera House. Super friendly vibe and lots of electrical outlets. Perfect place to hang with your laptop and relax! Help your local small business owners!!!!

I love coffee and I love a strong community. Combine the two together and you have you a match made in heaven. Tallio's owner Olton Rensch truly believes in what he does, what he makes, and who he does it for and that is extremely important not only for business but for the people who visits the business and this is why people return to Tallio's time and time again. Please continue to come out and support this small coffee shop because supporting small local businesses is so important these days now than ever. I was able to get together with a group of friends to learn, laugh, and experience great coffee and food. Tallio's is full of delicious pastries, panini's, and garlic noodles. Last but not least, you gotta try their Ginger Beer, it's their own brand and it's so fresh and delicious! Service was great, ambiance was super chill.

This place is such a gem. The owner is so passionate about the community and bringing them together through coffee. We came here because it was walking distance from our airbnb and wow I loved it. I ended up buying some coffee beans to take home! It has a tiny seating area and charging cords available. Do come by it is so worth it. Great coffee and the owner is so caring about the community, coffee practices, and teaching others about coffee.

Polite customer service and the staff explained every thing we inquire about. My group ordered a double shot, a vanilla latte, and a late afternoon sausage egg sandwich. The coffee is exceptional. The rich smooth flavor is a standout and if you ever have this coffee I think you would find it memorable. The egg sandwich was notable for its tasty and the quality of the food. The bright and clean location had a well put together parklette that is perfect for friends and family . The Main Street feel across the Bay View Opera House and park area make this location quite remarkable.

I rarely find places without pre sweetened matcha, their matcha isn't grainy, very smooth, and can be made sweet to your liking!!!! The service was quick and friendly! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The outdoor patio is perfect to hang out and get some work done.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Not your regular coffee shop. A beautiful place with a beautiful mission.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The owner is very kind. We had a cold brew and a drip coffee. As we were about to pay he introduced us to his Suriname style ginger brew. Thank god he did, because it was incredible. It was the perfect start to our morning

The classic iced matcha latte with honey is grassy and earthy and creamy and a little sweet. The iced banana pudding matcha latte had people lined up around the corner for months when it came out. It is deliciously worth the wait. Best banana cold foam in my opinion because it's made with actual bananas instead of flavoring so it's much more mellow. The double matcha they had for awhile is also awesome. Banana cold foam also goes great on an espresso latte. Now they let you add whichever cold foam you like to whatever drink which is great.
