I went to Tamba for the very first time on a Thursday night, 10/10 experience! Our server Jasmine was extremely kind and so patient to help guide us through the menu and recommend dishes. We tried the Tandoori Roti basket -- highly recommend to try a bit of everything. Paired it with the trio of chutney's and all of them were amazing, but the Tamarind chutney... I need that packaged up in a bottle, that alone complimented all of the breads perfectly. The Fish Moilee Masala was an amazing warming curry, and that sea bass was so well cooked it melted in your mouth. The seafood stir fry was nice & flavorful, can definitely split it between two people. The Crown Lassi Luxe drink was very sweet and balanced, not overpowering at all. I tried the Majaraja of Patiala (Rosehip Chai) but as a zero proof/non-alcoholic drink, that also didn't disappoint. It was served warm which surprised me; I will say the drink itself (under the cream) tasted watery but still had depth of flavor. I'd order that again, but maybe mix the cream in next time. Kept it light for dessert with the mango sorbet, a perfect small size to curve my sweet tooth and end of dinner lightly. And our server brought out complimentary chocolates for us too! From the atmosphere, to the check in process, to the kindness of the staff, and even during our exit - Tamba exceeded every checkbox. I didn't come in with expectations as I haven't eaten at many Indian restaurants, but Tamba now sets the bar extremely high for me. I can't wait to go back!!
I finally tried Tamba after hearing so much about it. The restaurant is beautiful and has a great upscale atmosphere, although the tables are pretty close together and don't offer much privacy. Unfortunately, the table next to us was very loud and it ruined the mood a bit. We ordered the butter chicken, filet mignon biryani, naan, raita, masala chai, and falooda. The portions were very small for the price, and the biryani was lacking the spice and flavor I was expecting. The masala chai was too milky, and I could barely taste the "chai". The falooda was okay but had a lot of competing flavors. I did enjoy the dark chocolate treat with candied fennel at the end. Service was fine, but overall the food feels more like an interpretation of Indian cuisine rather than real Indian food. Personally, I prefer more traditional flavors and larger portions, especially at this price point. I did think they were better than Gymkhana. Not somewhere I'd visit again.
Wow, that was very good. It's been almost 2 years since we went out for a dress up meal. Between hip surgery, leg issues, losing weight etc we just haven't gone big. We decided to try this James Beard New Restaurant Finalist (didn't win) and damn that was nice. As usual we arrive early to get a drink at the bar. I had the Tamba Tini, then the Clover Club, then another Tamba Tini. Carol had 2 Thandai Coladas. The Gibson Pearl onions with the Tini were delicious. Uber is a must. Once we were seated we ordered our second and third drinks plus the mix of naans with Chutney. As an appetizer we ordered the Kimchi Butter Grilled Oysters. They were absolute flavor bombs. For dinner I had the Lamb Chops since Carol will never make lamb for me. Carol had the fire roasted baby eggplant curry with rice. Dessert was some sorbet and a cheese dumpling. Overall fantastic experience, great bar, tremendous service. We will be back.
Heard a lot of hype about Tamba, so we decided to check it out.Highly recommend making reservations in advance, as it gets xtremely busy on weekends and peak days. The drink menu offers a fantastic selection of beers n cocktails. As for the food, every single dish tasted amazing! The soup was fantastic, and the Indian twist on sashimi from the raw bar was a standout. We also loved the biryani, chicken curry, naan, and tandoori fish everything was executed to perfection. Highly recommendedthough keep an eye on your bill as it can definitely get epensive
This space is beautiful, and the food is equally amazing! We visited on a Sunday for the very first reservation of the day. The restaurant smelled wonderful, was exceptionally clean, and the seating was freshly vacuumed. We were seated in the main dining area, where our party of 10 dined very comfortably. Our server, Lex, and the rest of the team were incredibly professional. Lex was so knowledgeable and patient with our larger group, taking the time to explain the menu in detail and offer fantastic recommendations. Drinks: * We ordered an Old Fashioned, Hugo Spritz, Passion Fruit Ginger mocktail, juices, and sodas. The cocktails were both delicious and strong! Starters: * Masala Butter Oysters: Extremely flavorful and unique. * Wagyu Tataki & Samosa Chaat: Both were absolute crowd-pleasers. Mains: * We shared the Lobster Fried Rice, Seafood Stir-Fry Noodles, Filet Mignon Biryani, Butter Chicken, Banana Leaf Sea Bass, and Garlic Cilantro Naan. Everything was fantastic, but the Lobster Fried Rice and Seafood Noodles were the absolute standout stars of the meal! We were far too stuffed for dessert, but this spot is an absolute must-try.
This is elevated Indian infused with Japanese influence. Everything was amazing! We started with tamarind spiced hamachi served with a ponzu sauce. Every bite was heavenly , flavors balancing perfectly. Lasooni lamb chops -- amazingly tender, cooked to perfection lamb chops. The dry spice rub was so flavorful! Tawa charred octopus -- nice smokiness from the charring with wonderful flavor sauces. Super tender and all the flavors and texture melded perfectly. Bhuna Gobi -- roasted purple cauliflower with coconut curry and broccoli puree. So yummy! Everything about this experience was exceptional from the impeccable service to the beautifully presented dishes. Absolutely worth a visit!
Tamba has been on the list of places I wanted to try for a long time. Heard so many good things from friends and they did not disappoint! First of all the drinks are out of this world! They have an extensive menu of cocktails. It took us a while to go through the whole entire menu. I decided on their pink rose drink, which is made with condensed milk. It was 10 out of 10 very sweet and fragrant. For the food, my friends and I shared bought a chicken, octopus, side of tenons, and filet mignon biryani every dish was delicious. For dessert we had the last thing on the menu which our waiter described as their take of funnel cake. I didn't really know what I was eating TBH however it was tasty and very fragrant. The ambience was elegant and elevated. The seats were spacious. The service was excellent. The only thing I would comment is that there were so many times the waitresses and waiters came up to our table to clear the table while we were still working on our food. Definitely on my list of places to come back. I can't wait to try more dishes and more cocktails in the near future.
I wanted to eat somewhere close to tmobile that was also a bit nicer because it was a special date night. I had only heard amazing things about Tamba and was excited they had availability. Upon walking it had a very refined almost scholarly vibe to it. The color palate was various shades of tan, as if wanting to be a backdrop not competing with the vibrant food that was about to be presented to us. The seating area was at first not super busy because we had a very early reservation at 530p so we would be on time for a concert, but it did fill in completely by the time we left. We got the tamarind hamachi crudo, goat cheese naan, lasooni lamb chops, banana leaf sea bass, and mango yuzu rasmalai. The sea bass especially blew my mind. Perfectly cooked, so many different sauces and flavors, but all working harmoniously. The puree beside it with edamame on top was one of the most creamy smooth purees I have ever had. The lamb was super tender without being overly pink and chewy. It was also served beside several sauces to swirl it in, and a light side salad that was kind of like a slaw but not a creamy one. The hamachi was super light and refreshing hiding thinly sliced pear and they poured the tamarind sauce table side. The naan with togarashi sounded more exciting than it was, the togarashi didn't really make itself known and maybe if it had been infused in like an oil or butter and brushed over the goat cheese it would have felt a bit more impactful. The mango yuzu rasmalai was like a hidden treasure just peaking out at the top hiding all the interesting layers below. I appreciated they had non alcoholic drink options. I feel calling them mocktails is a bit of a stretch. My fiance got the coke infused with cinnamon, I got a drink that was basically a fancy Arnold palmer with limeade and chai tea. Some of the other options were more traditional like a lassi. I also go their chai tea to follow my dessert, it was a beautiful but a bit to sweet and lacking as much spice as I had hoped. My only complaint with the space itself is that they burn incense at the entrance, and for me who is someone with scent sensitivity, that is not my favorite experience in a restaurant. I just want to smell food, and not have my hair smell like a fragrance when I leave. I mentioned both this and my thoughts on the chai through Instagram when they messaged me about my pictures I had posted and they were very gracious and welcoming of any way the experience could improve. I think that is an amazing trait in a business. In the end the meal was still beyond amazing despite two tiny critiques.
If you love Gymkhana-type restaurants, you'll love Tamba. To me, it's as if Gymkhana and Nobu had a baby. This is modern Indian fusion, done right. The menu can be a little overwhelming at first, but the amazing waitstaff and GM helped us choose a great 'tasting menu' of sorts. We ended up trying: Pomelo salad: 5/5, wow! Masala butter oysters: 5/5 Tamarind hamachi: 4/5 Ajwaini black cod: 5/5 Tawa charred octopus: 5/5 Pahadi Paneer: 5/5 Butter chicken: 4/5 Lobster green curry: 3/5 Exotic bread basket: 5/5 Excellent food, delectable flavors. The som also helped us pick out a great bottle of red to accompany. The interior is beautifully decorated with plush seating with soft lighting, perfect for a date night or girls' night. I can definitely see why they were a James Beard Finalist. Their GM, Olivier (?) is a star at his job. Looking forward to coming back and trying more dishes.
i came here for a friend's birthday and hadn't heard of tamba before but i was pleasantly surprised! :) we tried a couple dishes: samosas chaat, lobster fried rice, fire-roasted baby baingan, jidori butter chicken, and the exotic bread basket! my favorite was the samosas chaat! loved the sauce it came with and the chickpeas the decor was beautiful although it does get a bit loud, sometimes was hard to hear each other/our server service was very nice, i was surprised that we were given new plates when the entree came in and the table was wiped cleaned in between as well :0 they also packaged our leftovers for us and we were given a ticket to pick it up with the hostess. they were super kind to give a complimentary crispy rice and ice cream since it was my friend's birthday will definitely come back since i had someone recommend i try the fish curry! :D
My favorite restaurant in Las Vegas--no question. Every time I'm in town, it's a must-stop. Service is fantastic our waiters are always to elaborate on explaining the menu . The ambiance aesthetic alone is unreal (I'd move in if I could ), but the food truly seals the deal. Every dish is beautifully presented and packed with flavor, and the drinks are just as creative as they are delicious. 10/10 across the board.
The restaurant is absolutely aesthetically pleasing combining both luxury and simplicity. The service matched the ambiance well. The dishes were cleared and brand new plates were set between every course without missing a beat. For appetizers, we started with the pomelo salad and the artichoke sashimi. Both were really subtle which made them ideal openers hence appetizers. The pomelo salad is the move if you're into something bright and tangy and the artichoke sashimi is the more savory, both worth ordering. The banana leaf sea bass was a standout, and I say that as someone who doesn't typically gravitate toward seafood. It had none of that heavy ocean taste. The butter chicken, though, was the highlight of my night. The texture, the creaminess, the perfectly cooked chicken was just flat-out excellent. My only con would probably be the portion size because it left me wanting more. Lastly, because it came a little late the exotic bread basket. It genuinely should have led the table. Once I got done with the bread basket, I realize the portioning size was just right and enough.
Invited! Stepped out on an invitation and a time was had!.Tamba owes us nothing! Parking varies, depending on time of day. Metered parking out front ends about 7 so that option exists as well as covered garage parking near by. Both are handicap accessible with a little walk. The restroom is spacious and handicap accessible. We were seated in prime location. The ambiance again is delightfully enjoyable. The lighting is easy and the seats are comfortable. I do not recall if music is playing but if so it wasn't disruptive but I believe the sound of the customers engaging was the best thing. Lex our server showcased her talent with grace. She was attentive, she made suggestions if asked, she did a temp check of how close or far to be. She was on point each time. She worked with a team of all hands on deck and as a customer service person, this makes or breaks the experience. Any person that pass your table will assist you or remove an empty plate. Yass! Food and beverages alike were made to order and were refreshing and delicious We ordered two appetizers: oysters & yellowfin tuna, Naan bread brush with sauce options (chutney dipping sauce is great but not on the menu), banana leaf wrapped Chilean sea bass and blessed with a magi sorbet. Wow! Chocolates served on a platter was the kiss goodnight! We enjoyed every bite. The pricing was right for the meal. Oliver, Anna and Shana was the supporting staff and it was fun. Until this evening, only my husband had escorted me back to my seat but in honor of my birthday, I received just that! Exceptional hospitality!! Delicious food! ...6 stars
We had an incredible dinner. I've had Indian food many times but never like this. The chef really elevated the experience here and the service was top notch. (shout out to our waitress from Sunday night-- in the tan suit) The cauliflower was my favorite - the way the flavors all came together. I would definitely get that again. The presentation was gorgeous and I loved the sauces that came on each plate. I typically like the flavors on appetizers more than the main dishes. I got the butter chicken - which was creamy and flavorful, but next time I'll opt for the fish curry. Get the warm MLP drink - perfect after dinner cocktail. read more
Some might say they're the bomb-a. For the most part, they'd be right. Tamba is a "contemporary Indian" restaurant making waves in foodie circles. Located in easily accessible Town Square and also quite close to the free South Garage of that outdoor mall, their unassuming exterior holds a seemingly well-oiled machine closing in on their one-year anniversary. Despite all the hype, I was easily able to book a same-day reservation for two (15 min grace period, FYI) on a weeknight, and it wasn't all that crowded when we were there. The host asked us to wait in the waiting area for a bit then seated us quickly enough. "What the heck is contemporary Indian?" you might ask. I interpret it as analogous to new American, where they borrow a lot from other cuisines but also represent the base Indian flavors and ingredients strongly. With that in mind, as well as having heard various glowing podcasts and reviews, my friend and I went family-style and simply picked out a few things which we thought would be interesting. West Indian Rumble ($20.00, same price as all their cocktails): a promising mix of Flor De Caña Extra Dry rum, fresh blackberry, lemon, dried ginger, and allspice. I noticed an oddly stratified top layer of uncolored liquid and stirred the drink carefully before really getting into it. I loved the strong hits of rich blackberry and allspice. The lemon and ginger may have landed more subtly, but thank goodness it wasn't just a ginger bomb. Garlic Cilantro Naan ($6.00) and Trio of Chutneys ($6.00): a solid appetizer-like pairing. The naan is pretty standard fare, but I really liked the vibrant chutneys. The mint was great, the mango was sweet and lightly spicy, and the tamarind was intense and at least medium in heat. Tawa Charred Octopus ($39.00): pricey but absolutely magnificent. Very meaty tentacles with light char and sweetness from orange glaze and eel sauce. The glazed fennel was great and minimally anise-y. The beet was nice and juicy. I would've loved just a touch more yuzu lime aioli available around the plate. Banana Leaf Seabass ($42.00): great flaky execution of seabass that does almost work on its own due to warm spices and whatever was in that addictive kerala sauce. But then you have to get into the truffle celeriac puree (with edamame for some intangible reason, but it works too), which delivers a punch of black truffle in every silky bite. The stingy portioning of "creamy citric lime" sauce was even more obvious here as it needed a relatively high portion of sauce to fish to make the lime kick evident. When I made that happened, it was a party in my mouth. Pahadi Paneer ($28.00): a vegetarian curry with a side of basmati included. The curry was not really that potent or memorable, and the basmati again proves to be an inferior rice to jasmine as it just came out a tad bit dry. Naan may be a better accompaniment to the curry and paneer, but I found myself also wishing that the paneer was a bit firmer and therefore meatier. Jangiri Crunch ($20.00): our consensus choice for one dessert after asking a server and noting that it had the most Yelp photos of all the desserts. Although that funnel cake-esque thing looks like it should be a centerpiece, you should treat it like a crouton as you try to combine bites of the kaffir lime ice cream, coconut pak, and passionfruit mousse. There's a bit of a kids breakfast cereal and milk resemblance when you get just the ice cream and crispy jalebi in a bite too. I did find that the kaffir lime flavor was most intense in the first bite, so perhaps they should make it more of a sorbet or at least sherbet to preserve the kaffir intensity? That aside, still a great dessert overall. Complimentary dessert chocolate: actually another memorable bite, studded below with some aniseed and something colorful. The anise crunch and flavor somehow worked with that dark chocolate goodness. If you don't get a separate dessert, you may not regret it. The interior was nicely backlit and full of warm brown colors. The chairs were comfy. The music seemed culturally appropriate and stayed at a low-enough volume that people's voices stayed in the medium range. The table lamps provide enough light, and they actually have three brightness options which you may wanna swap between for food photos. Tamba is simply a must-try restaurant. I would skip just the Pahadi Paneer unless you really feel like you'll love it, but almost everything else in my meal was impressive. read more

Dined here for my partner's birthday. I heard a lot of rave reviews about this place so I was curious to try it. Honestly, we were underwhelmed. The service was very attentive, but we weren't crazy impressed with the food for a James Beard semifinalist. We got the murgh jidori (chicken), ajwaini black cod, and fire-roasted baby baingan (eggplant) as well as naan and a lassi drink. The jidori was tough and sort of dry. The black cod appetizer was tender and the eggplant dish was flavorful. Were they worth it for the prices? Probably not. We were also kind of annoyed that the servers kept pushing us to get alcoholic drinks because neither me nor my partner drink like that. Get reservations because after 6pm on a random Tuesday, the place got wildly packed very fast. read more

Is Tamba high end? For sure. The dishes offered in the menu are very modern. The service is impeccable. The location is great. Though the server explaining every dish in detail I think is an overkill. If you want authentic Indian, don't come here. I was not disappointed with the food, they're very good. I'm disappointed with the mango lassi as it seems diluted without much flavor (better to get this at traditional Indian restaurant). I'll recommend this place probably on a date night. read more
Tamba is an upscale Modern Artsy Indian-ish (and slightly Asian-ish) Restaurant and Bar located in Town Square (That isn't far from the strip and airport). We got seated in the first dining room that has a bar. The seating is unusual. It's modern but also very rich looking with some stone tables and some seats and benches. They have a mixologist at the bar for cocktails and next to the bar was a DJ playing contemporary Indian Style Music at a somewhat medium loud level. If you have readers you will need them here because the print on the menu is a lighter gold color and is hard to see. (I had to photograph the menu and read it on my phone). There are many sections to the menu and it is hard to tell how many plates you want to share. Also some dishes are lighter and other dishes are very large and generous. As for the dishes I picked four dishes. naan, and dessert worked out perfect for us. We started with the Tamarind Spiced Hamachi. This one was very fresh and light. It was very good but the dishes that followed were all AMAZING! Tambazushi Wagu - FIREWORKS - Get It! Samosa Chaat - FIREWORKS - Get It! Charcoal Live Fire Lemongrass Fish Tikka - FIREWORKS - Get It! Garlic Cilantro Naan - Best Naan Ever - Get It! Jangiri Crunch (dessert) GREAT - Get It! Service was welcoming and efficient. Parking might be challenging for some because you either park in the garage around the corner or try to street park there like in a city. read more
I've heard nothing but great things about Tamba and I'm so happy I got to experience this amazing dining experience for myself. I went for my birthday and I knew from looking at the menu the lamb chops were calling my name. We started with the oysters (spicy) but they were some of the best oysters I've had. It's been 12 days and I'm still thinking about those oysters. We also had the lamb chops, chicken masala, rice, and bread. Everything was perfection. The waiter was one of the best waiters I've had. He explained everything on the menu in great detail. He suggested drinks and food that were the top selected at the restaurant. The restaurant was beautifully decorated. There was nice music playing. This would be a great place to go for dinner before a night out or a special occasion. It fits every occasion. I can't wait to come back. Dreaming about it as I type. read more

Tamba is a modern Indian gem in Town Square. From the moment you walk in, the stunning decor sets the tone--clearly, a lot of thought and effort went into creating a space that feels both upscale and welcoming. Yes, the prices are a little higher than your average Indian spot, but that's because this is fine dining. The quality of the ingredients and execution is absolutely worth it. Everything we tried was packed with flavor and beautifully presented. The standout for us was the Achari Bhindi Do Pyaza--a flavorful okra dish that's perfect if you love vegetables. Deeeeeeelish. Finally, a good place for locals NOT in a casino. We did -cucumbers - butter chicken - bamboo bass - 2 types of naan - octopus And a yummy Riesling out of Washington. Service was perfect. Support team was epic. Management was epic. read more
If you're looking for a unique dining experience outside of The Strip, Tamba is the place to go! For Valentine's Day I was looking to try something different and this restaurant caught my eye instantly. I was not expecting to enjoy this dinner as much as I did. Our server Jasmine was amazing, she gave us excellent advice on what to order and we were very satisfied with everything on the table. Each dish was flavorful and I appreciate each detail in the cocktail. I will definitely return to share these cuisines with others who are looking to get out of their comfort zone! read more
Went to this place for an anniversary celebration and immediately impressed. I loved the earth tones, the comfy modern chairs and their beautiful set up. Their staff was beyond impressive - they care! The food was the best we have ever had! Sadly I didn't take pictures of the entrees but trust me when I say get the butter chicken and the sea bass ! You will not regret it. For apps we got the octopus, big eye tuna, and the spicy tuna all were delicious. The drinks were so delicately flavorful and perfectly made! Came here for a late night drink + caviar snack. I got the carajillo which was good but overpriced. The porn star drink was pretty good. I was disappointed in the caviar snack. It was more labneh flavor than caviar. For the $67 price tag I'd appreciate a better execution of the dish. Service was good we were at the bar. Ambiance was nice and dim lit. They had nice chairs and were thoughtful with their approach to the restaurant read more

My family was in town and was recommended we try this place out. The food was great. Flavorful but not too overwhelming. My husband loved his sea bass dish, he said it was really good and wouldn't mind ordering it again someday. He liked the different sauces that were presented on the plate. I liked the dish I had. I admit it was a bit dry, but it was still good. The sauces for my dish complemented it really well. Both dishes paired well with the garlic cilantro naan. Service was great. The employees always refilled our drinks and asked if we were doing well. Our server was polite, friendly, patient, and knowledgeable with all the questions we asked. Ambiance was good. Very classy interior, we all felt that we were underdressed (oops). The music was a subtle touch, although the bass on some songs was a bit much for me. Overall, our first experience was great. We heard good things about this restaurant so we went for my brother in law's birthday. As a group we've never had Indian food before, but this experience left us wondering why we haven't tried! The restaurant ambiance itself is beautiful and refined. Perfect for a date night, but also for a family setting. I loved the unique twist they had with the oyster appetizers and carpaccio. The naan bread with the butter chicken is a must (we had to take some to go) as well as the mango drink they have on the last page of their beverage menu. I recommend for anyone wanting a date night or to try a unique rotation on your restaurant list in Vegas . read more
Elevated Indian cuisine!! I've never had a vodka-infused mango lassi, but it was perfectly balanced. The saffron paneer was crisp and delicious, the sea bass was incredibly tender, and the butter chicken had a unique flavor compared to other restaurants. Surprisingly disappointing -- overhyped Service 4/5 Ambiance 4/5 Price 2/5 Food 2/5 My husband made our valentines reservation because we have been very excited to try our Tamba as we love Indian food. Unfortunately the food fell short. The contemporary Indian is heavy on the contemporary. It's very odd to see a wok section and it's incredibly fusion (not in good way). The main complaint was the food lack depth and flavor, which is something you don't usually say when you eat this cuisine! We got the oysters because 3 employees said it was the best thing on the menu. Oysters best thing on the Indian menu -- should've been a flag. The oysters were overpowered by kimchi liquid. We got 2 curries: Achari Bhindi Do Pyaza and Chicken Tariwala. Achari was an okra curry so we thought we tried something new and Tariwala was "home style" so we went for a classic. Both lacked depth of flavor. We got the exotic bread basket and all were lack luster. Plain was too plain, garlic cilantro was mild, black truffle was overwhelming (poor quality), and goat cheese was just a topping but the best out the 4. Tab for 2 drinks, oysters, 2 curries, and the bread basket came out to $189 before tip -- SHEESH! It's a great ambiance but far from authentic Indian food. Your local Indian buffet or takeout pars better than this sit down restaurant, especially for the price. Drinks are decent but we were here for the food and it was a disappointment. I wanted to try this restaurant since it was opened. Finally I had a chance to go. The restaurant was simple, clean, and fancy tables and chairs. Chairs were very comfortable. Our server was very knowledgeable. The foods we had were his recommendation. We had Methi Murgh, Tawa Charred Octopus, and Garlic Naan. Chicken was well spiced and good flavor. Octopus was very soft and matched with the sauce. The presentation of the dishes were very pretty. I drank Pink Viper. It was very good. Grapefruit and rose vodka combination were perfect. What distinguishes truly legendary foodie experiences from the pack, the best of the best, are more than just the flavors, impeccable service, and ambiance. They curate, and meticulously craft experiences that spark childhood nostalgia, joy, and most importantly of all, community. If you ask me, that's who deserves a Michelin star the most, and I've been to many starred locations. Can I bring a group of great friends from across the nation, and rest assured they will not only have their mind blown from the cuisine, but will feel right at home further building bonds to last the test of time. Creating community should matter most‼ I've been to Tamba ( @tambalasvegas ) countless times now, the most repeats in my city, and this is my third story to share with you all. It never misses! This was my first time setting up a large group of friends there, 10 of us, and as luck would have it, a true gift from one of the owners, we were blessed to experience their private dining area and fixed course feast. Not only did it cover all of my favorites I've had numerous times, everyone left stuffed, even leftovers to cure the morning hangovers. I was stoked to share this with one of my friends from India to get his opinion too. He almost died exclaiming how much he loved it. Rest assured I am making my way through their entire menu and everything I've devoured was flawless. Before you ask, this wasn't sponsored or comped. I set it up for my friends, my family, because it's that awesome. My favorite way to show love is through a shared feast, and it's surprisingly difficult to find a gem that meets all of this criteria. This was truly an amazing way to kick off the annual Superbowl event my buddy has organized for over 20 years and counting. The Bears didn't make it this year, but us Chicago fans, never lose hope. This place has the most beautiful ambience and the staff was absolutely amazing. They were so knowledgeable and guided us in the right direction as far as cocktails and food and don't get me started on the food. Just absolutely delicious. I would definitely be coming back. The food was absolutely incredible, my server was so helpful in explaining the menu, suggesting things to try, and was very attentive. Lots of delicious vegetarian options. I got the truffle temari (hands down my favorite thing I ordered), fire roasted baby baingan, and goat cheese and togarashi naan! read more
So many good things to say about Tamba! The decor is classy & modern, servers were on top of everything, and the dishes were all so flavorful. My favorite was the jidori butter chicken. We went on New Year's Day so it was busy but we still got our food timely. We'll have to come back to try other dishes! read more

The service was impeccable! We had a wine server, waiter & the manager even made an appearance to make sure we were all pleased & taken care of. The food was fantastic! Wow! This was an incredible dinner. We went on a weekday night and it was absolutely packed. We were lucky to have found a couple of seats at the bar. This turned out to be a treat since our bartender was fabulous and we were able to ask him many questions. He was knowledgeable about both the cocktails and the menu. We were treated to a chef's special appetizer of Crabs with Crispy Rice Balls, which were delightful. We also ordered Fresh Oysters which were small but meaty (just the way I prefer them), flavorful, and the trio of sauces were delightful (I loved the mignonette). The plating was gorgeous as well. The samosas we ordered were tasty (although I found the pastry to be a bit thick). For my main, I ordered the Banana Leaf Sea Bass and it was absolute perfection. The star of the dish was actually the Truffle Celeriac Purée, which was delectible and our favorite flavor of the entire evening! At the recommendation of everyone behind the bar, we ordered the "Cheesecake" for desert. As a former pastry chef, I can appreciate the time and effort that went into creating each individual component of this desert from the cheesecake, to its filling, to the gelee, the crust, the chocolate crisp, the various sauces and powders, and the kefir ice cream. However, for my taste it was too many flavors in one dessert and seemed a bit overdone. That being said, I can appreciate the artistry that it was! The food and service here was incredible! I'm forgot the name of our server but he was truly phenomenal along with the sommelier. Every dish as unique and flavorful. NYE Date night. The quality of the room is just right to make getting dressed up feel right. Service team from hosts to servers and management were really attentive and did a great time making us feel special. Cocktails are some of the best in the city, earl grey martini was astounding, chai carajillo was dangerously drinkable. Food was stunning, I hope they never change the octopus and fennel dish, lobster curry was also terribly delicious and unique. Have been very excited to check out Tamba at Town Square. It's a modern upscale Indian restaurant and it has all the vibes. The front room with the bar is definitely a bit cooler and better ambience but they sort of have weird seating so a lot of couples seemed to be seated side by side looking out on the restaurant. Not a huge fan of that. We sat in the main dining room which was nice but I wish they didn't have all the windows covered with drapes. Made the room a bit stuffy. Onto the food: Tamarind Spiced Hamachi (5/5): this is a must order. It was the best flavors I've had on a hamachi crudo. The tamarind mixed with the Asian pears were just perfect.z Kimchi Butter Oysters (4/5): The kimchi flavor was actually really authentic which I appreciated and there was a nice briny aftertaste. I think this is a great dish to try once but probably won't need to get it again. Lasooni Lamb Chop (5/5): these were the best lamb chops I've had. The flavor of the rub was perfect and the meat was cooked to the perfect temperature. Even my wife who doesn't enjoy lamb thought they were great Tawa Charred Octopus (5/5): this was also perfect cooked with an amazing medley of flavors. I would just make sure you mix all the flavors together or you might end up with super sweet pieces that are covered in eel sauce. Butter Chicken (3/5): this was fine. There was a bit of a floral taste to the curry that we weren't used to but it was good. Jangiri Crunch (4/5): nice dessert to finish off the evening. Not too sweet and served with delicious berries This was a super fun experience and we really enjoyed it. The service was a little slow at times but everyone was very nice. Overall, I would definitely recommend trying it out but I would opt for the more modern dishes than the traditional ones. read more

COME HERE FOR GOOD INDIAN FOOD WITH A MODERN TWIST! I'm so glad I found this spot online. It is about a 15min drive from the strip but def wort the drive out. It's contemporary modern Indian decor with the food matching the decor and ambiance. Service is also top notch with staff checking up on you in routinely manner and also gave great recommendations. Also the Instagram contact was super quick at responding to my questions about halal (and yes, their meat is halal!). We ordered guava lassi which was great flavoring but didn't taste like your typical lassi but I'd still get it again. For apps, we got the sesame salmon ceviche and wowww flavorful explosion in my mouth!! Def try it out! For entree we had the butter chicken and beef kabobs and both were sooo good!! Gotta get garlic naan to top it all off. At the end of it, I had my masala chai which was great if you like more milky than strong but overall enjoyed it. Can't wait to come back! read more

Ok, so hands down some of the best food Ive had in a while. Pricey, but worth it. There was a very nice vibe. The restaurant was extremely posh. I am glad I dressed nice for dinner. Oliver (I believe that was his name) was the embodiment of France (no, not India) he was thin, white, and a little stuck up, and although this didn't quite fit the Indian restaurant image, it worked for the caliber of restaurant. He was very nice, he just gave me flashbacks of my time in Paris. The food was delicious. The only reason I wouldn't give the food 5 stars is because they did not have saag AND the lobster curry which came recommended was...meh, the beef and broccoli was a little salty. Now everything else was muah, chefs kiss. The lamb chops, tender and flavorful. The piece de resistance was the sea bass, it was cooked to perfection! I can't wait to get back to Vegas, this will definitely be 1 of my 1st stops! read more

Located next to PF Chang's in Town Square, Tamba is the elevated dining experience one would enjoy on a date or a business dinner. Claimed as contemporary Indian, our kind server explained that Indian flavor is the showcase, yet there's an eclectic influence from Thai, Japanese and even Mexican culinary. We started with the kimchi oysters which were warm and had an amazing kimchi butter drizzled over top. Quite delicious and an unexpected surprise, my hubby and I commented they were a standout as far as starters go. We also got the vegetable samosas, also fantastic and we tested out the three creamy chutneys, different than any other dipping accoutrements we've had from the various Indian restaurants we've eaten at. For our means, I got the chicken curry dish, which had a somewhat similar flavor to chicken tikka masala, but also leaned into a madras, as well. Hubs ordered the sea bass wrapped in banana leaves with a delicate lemongrass sauce. We ordered aloo gobi which was similar to most aloo gobi dishes we've had, and very tasty! They have a full bar (beautiful space) and great wine menu, too. Interior design is attractive and chic, I loved the scalloped-backed chairs. A bit more pricey than your typical Indian eatery, but the ambience, service and food quality justifies the price. Would return! read more

I adore this place and its staff! As a regular patron, I have always found the food well-prepared and the service to be exceptional. I have tried most of the menu, and while I have my own preferences, the food is always nothing short of excellent in terms of consistent, fresh quality and remarkable taste. My husband is very picky when it comes to Indian food (having been born and raised in Punjab), and this is the only Indian restaurant in Vegas he loves! Both the culinary team and the front-of-house staff are incredibly accommodating and receptive to feedback. On a recent visit, I noted that the butter chicken could be improved with smaller chicken pieces and a thicker sauce consistency; the chef immediately prepared a replacement that perfectly met those specifications. Their commitment to guest satisfaction is superb, and the elegant atmosphere is the perfect finishing touch! read more

We really enjoyed our visit to Tamba. The service was impeccable and friendly. The vibe is upscale and classic. And the food was absolutely delicious! We tried a variety of items and every single one was delicious-- the artichoke sashimi was a star, as well as the delightful butter chicken. My daughter and I are both Pescatarians and there was plenty for us to eat! It's amazing!
