Another great dinner at Tam's! We started with the Hot Spinach Artichoke Dip & Pita Chips, nice appetizer and a bottle of wine. For dinner I had the Duck Ravioli (hearty and full of flavor) and my wife had the Chicken Parm (classic dish). The ambience is always warm and inviting here. Service was excellent thank much to our server Mike!

City pasta. Chicken, mushrooms, sun dried tomatoes and rigatoni in a vodka cream sauce topped with feta.

What a beautifully intimate venue with the restaurant downstairs and the theatre upstairs with shows upstairs! All the staff was very friendly and engaged!! We started with appetizers of two of the dips offered. They were both rich and creamy. Our entrees were also delicious. All food was well prepared and good portion size. We were so full we opted out of dessert but in looking at ones at nearby tables, I'm sorry we missed them. We did opt for the chocolate martinis to end our meals. Most definitely a place where there are lots of regulars and worthy of repeat visits!!

We were skeptical at first because we thought it was not a restaurant from the outside and thought we may have had the wrong address but it was extremely cool how it was so private feeling once we entered and knew we were at the right place. It wasn't quite a speakeasy kind of feeling but had a secretive selective feeling where the patrons were most likely regulars and an upscale feel but not an overly priced menu. We started with drinks, old fashioned for the husband and I had a glass of wine which is a rare thing but it was a perfect pairing with my Brian's Chicken. It came with a salad or soup and I chose the house salad with a citrus vinaigrette and the wild rice side. My husband chose the Tilapia Piccata which doesn't come with a salad or soup, just a side and he chose the roasted mashed potatoes. We had rolls served and then selected a key lime pie for our dessert. The waitress was older, less friendly but consolidated her trips and was timely so that's a plus. She could stand to smile and seem more thankful for guests or her presence of being there but maybe something was a miss in her world so we just enjoyed the time we had without the interruptions but being in the service industry in the past my self, I know first-hand that smile and friendly face upon greeting a table does have an impact. The noise was about average so some jazz or music in the background would be helpful to allow for less availability to overhear the tables surrounding one another possibly. There was a table of ladies maybe enjoying ladies night and it seemed we could hear them quite frequently but they appeared to be enjoying their night so no bad feelings towards a group enjoying their evening. We will definitely be back.

Healthy fresh food that is always reliable. Great ambiance! Service is acceptable not perfect but the food and drinks make up for it.

What an excellent little spot tucked out of the way. Was invited by a vendor when she chose our spot for lunch. We both had salads & sweet tea. Grilled chicken on one & salmon on the other. Classy spot with excellent service, menu, wine list & bar. Want to go back for dinner sometime & definitely will make it a lunch spot when in Cumming. Excellent menu with something for everyone. Definitely try this spot of you haven't. Would be a good spot for the family, small groups & od imagine great for a couple to slide into a cozy corner on date night.

Was in GA visiting family & on my last night there we decided to do dinner at Tams. The scenery was unique due to the theatre decor. I ordered a lemon drop and it was perfect. Perfect balance of everything. The food was immaculate. Amazing! Brians chicken has my heart. When I came back to FL, thats all I was thinking and dreaming about. I obviously tried to attempt making my own Brians chicken but it wasnt the same. Great food and great service! Will totally come back when Im back in GA.

Fillet mignon, garlic mashed, chicken tortilla soup and tallant for dessert. This meal made our 32nd anniversary dinner one to remember!

My favorite dinner place in Cumming. I almost always get the mixed seafood grill & crab bisque soup. Don't forget a martini!

I just had a meal at Tams Backstage. Rachel, the future nurse, was the best waitress I've had in many years!

You can find Wolf Mountain Vineyards at 180 Wolf Mountain Trl Dahlonega, GA 30533. This was about…read more10-15 minutes from campus (downtown Dahlonega) I attended a wedding of my friends Katherine and Chris at the winery - honestly I didn't taste any of the wine (yes I know, bad) but enjoyed myself. The venue is pretty spectacular with great views of the surrounding hills and valleys along with the vineyards as the hang of the side of the mountain. There were two aspects that pushed my opinion down a bit, neither are really the fault of the venue or business so I've stayed with the 5-stars. The wedding was held in an outdoor pavilion with great views, but during the first week of August quite hot. There are ceiling fans but they didn't help too much - I was sweltering in my jacket and tie by the time the ceremony ended (just be aware if you book something here during the hot season). The second, there are a lot of stairs as you are on the side of a mountain. If you have a hard time traversing a lot of stairs, there are other means of getting around so once again be aware. The main "hall" has windows with fantastic views. I thought the food was exceptional and wish I had taken more photos, but there were a lot of poor lighting (I was seated next to the dance area). My apologies for the missing check in and the lack of photos but I didn't want to be obnoxious at a wedding. Overall I love the rustic charm of this place and plan to return and more fully explore the wine offerings. I thought the service was exceptional with very accommodating staff, especially the bartenders.

The dining room area only had 4 tables occupied and really quiet, so no issue. Our waitress Krissy did a pretty good job. We started with some table foccacia bread this was cooked perfectly. Other restaurants can learn here, crispy bottom, hint of salt, soft inside, aka perfect. Next we had the calamari, again cooked perfectly crisp outside tender inside, the calabrian chili aioli dipping sauce wow, great flavor. Next she had the oil and garlic pasta with no chicken, it arrived with chicken and they took the chicken off the bill. She enjoyed her meal, very tasty. I had the meatballs and spaghetti and added a side of sausage. I enjoyed my meal as well, the sauce was very tasty. When we left at 730, still not full, the bar seemed busier. We will return. Now back to the reservation comment, we asked the hostess / manager how we could make reservations for future visits, she replied online, I asked her to be more specific, she said their website, so I went to their website, no reservations, we aksed our waitress she had the manager come over to show us, turns out it is not on their website, it is by using "maps", there is a link for reservations, same if you search by "Google Search" there is a link. See my pictures. Now we know amd maybe you as well.

Food is fantastic here. The only draw back is the prices are high. But for good food, I do not…read moremind paying.
