I'll be short on this one since they are obviously doing well based on the stars I saw. It's gourmet coffee so you have to pay more. IT'S WORTH IT! Easily in my top five spots in the city of L.A. I've tried their gelato and 4 or 5 of their iced coffee products and EVERYTHING tastes great. Nothing in Woodland Hills matches them, that's for sure. Employees are always friendly and well trained. I am so happy I found this place!! It is soooo cute on the inside and the people working there are super nice!! I ordered the iced rose matcha latte with oatmilk. It's from their valentines days menu and it is DELICIOUS! The matcha is perfectly made and I LOVE the rose flavor. It's the perfect amount and works so well with the matcha. I also got the poffetjes which look like mini pancakes but puffy and it was SO GOOD! I forgot to take a picture and are the whole thing in like 2 minutes. I wish I had gotten more. If I could go here everyday, I would! Love all the drinks I have tried so far: Chagaccino, matcha blueberry lavender latte, cardamom latte, barako blend, and rose vanilla latte. The matcha latte with oat milk was really good actually. The right amount of sweetness, and it wasn't watered down or milked down. The texture of it was good, didn't feel too powdery. I take the iced matcha latte which was very good. But the French cookies from the counter was really amazing!! I wanted to go there and work on my laptop but when I went there I saw that it very intimate and small space so in the end I just did a take out with my iced matcha latte and my cookies worked from home. Growing up in the valley, I am surprised I have never found this sweet gem. I think it has the most heart out of any of the other stores in the shopping area. It is a cute little, set up with lots of crystals and other eclectic items surrounding the café. I have not personally tried the food, but it looks very tasty. It's obvious that the owner is very passionate about serving people delicious items. I tried the brewed Matcha blend that was sweetened, also with rose added, and it was different but enjoyable. Think the unique taste came from a combination of coconut milk and rose. This is the second best Matcha I've had in the valley. I think it's easy to tell when people put into serving and it is prepared as a monotonous task. I would love to come back at a later date and give them more complete review based on items, but I think the passion and effort put into this business. Frankie and Alexis welcomed my fiancé and I so kindly and helped us with ideas on what to order as it was our first time coming in. They offered me to sample any flavor gelato I wished as I was looking for something not too sweet. The sugar-free handmade chocolate gelato was amazing and I appreciate them loads for the offer and the opportunity to try it and add it to my Affogato! Alexis made us a delicious special biscoff latte and we both loved it so, so much. The shop was so comforting we did now want to leave! The ambiance is calm and welcoming. My husband and I were searching for a coffee shop open later in the evening on our drive back from Malibu and stumbled upon this one! So glad we did and made it 30 mins before closing. Staff were friendly and suggested some items from their menu. Sampled a few gelato flavors, which were very tasty. Ordered the creme brûlée latte and my husband enjoyed the pour over. The pandan Cinnabon and the ube coffee cake were yummy as well. Decor was modern and looked clean which allow cozy vibes to enjoy a drink or dessert over. I hate being the customers who come right before closing but the staff were great. I also did love the lids to the coffee cups. Easy and comfortable to drink out if. Not too many places have that. Maybe one of them was in training but management needs to up their game on who they hire as baristas. I've known this family for several years, so when they told me they were opening this shop, I had to support them. But I have to say, I am so happy that all their treats and drinks are AMAZING because I would hate to make excuses why I don't go into their shop! Diana made me the most delicious caffeine free (it was 8pm and I didn't want the caffeine, but I wanted the drink! ) coffee drink! When I first walked into Tang & Java I noticed the very modern and clean store, and the friendly servers that said hello and welcomed me to Tang & Java. I met the wonderful and sweet store owner, Diana, and complimented her on how nice the store looked and the variety of gelato they carried. I've never tried an Avocado Gelato and once I tasted the sample, I had to get it. The Avocado Gelato so far is my favorite flavor so far. I'm going back to try the others plus the Java is next on my list. This is a gem in Woodland Hills and a nice place to bring family, friends, and quick meetings for 2-4 over Java. Also, they are a new Member of the West Valley Warner Center Chamber which is a smart move to market their business. I highly recommend this cool hot spot here in the Valley. read more

AMAZING PLACE! I went here twice in one week because I was so impressed with the quality of the drinks and the customer service. The first time I went I got their pandan coconut latte and it was delectable. I'm a hoe for pandan or coconut anything and it was perfectly sweet and refreshing. The employees really care about the quality of their drinks and offered many times to adjust if we weren't pleased with it. They also were just really friendly and informative about every question we had! We even got to talking about nails hahaha. My cousin got the tiramisu latte and I had a taste of it as well! Simply amazing! It tasted exactly like the dessert in a drink form. The second time I went I got their ube latte and it was good, but I definitely liked the coconut pandan more (hard to compete though!) They used an ube paste which I enjoyed because I reminded me of Vietnamese che with taro :) Both times I went it was pretty early in the morning so I only sampled their gelatos. But they make their gelatos in house and every flavor I sampled was delicious! Very flavorful, not too sweet, and extremely creamy. The texture was smooth and so decadent.
