I wasn't offered an option to toast up the pastry, but I didn't particularly mind the coldness of the mac and cheese component of the pastry. The croissant surrounding the filling was flakey with nicely laminated layers. Meanwhile, the filling was satisfyingly salty and rich. Although the pastry was tasty, it's probably something I would only try once -- rather than something I would get regularly, due to how heavy the pastry ate.
