after 7 years with Tanler, a new service found multiple subterranean and dry termite infestations at my property costing over 10k to treat. I'm beyond unsatisfied with the service I received over the years. when I called to attempt to rectify the problem I was told i would be put on hold and then when I finally reached a manager I couldn't hear them over the background noise and was asked if I could be called back when they where at a less loud location. Sorry but when you are dealing with this kind of business, you should be accessible when call the first time and if not, definitely the third!! read more

Responsive, thorough and reliable! I've used them for a year now and after the initial treatment which eliminated my ant problem, they have me on a reasonable plan quarterly that has kept the ants from ever coming back! I trusted the 4 stars reviews for this company to do the work for me. They showed up within one day to sign the contract with 2 years warranty and got work done within 5 days to collect the rest of the money. 6 months later, I had the termite issue at the same locations where they were treated before. I asked them to come and check the areas. They gave me a one month appointment with an excuse that they are too busy. Then they extended another week after that. They came and sprayed the area with visible termites then left without treating areas around it. I don't trust this company's warranty. They don't seem to care after collecting full money. read more

I called two weeks ago at my wits end with a German cockroach problem. Tanler was responsive with a quote and managed to squeeze me in the next day to spay and set up bait traps. I haven't seen any more unwanted house guests since. I honestly can't say enough about how happy I am with their service. I highly recommend them. read more

Tanler treated all the units in our condo complex one year ago, and as a result we got a two-year warranty with yearly inspections for that period. The treatment went fine; this happened early during lockdowns, and their crew wore masks and all of that. I saw termites in our home around a month ago. (I had been told that Tanler would not follow up to schedule the yearly inspection; it's on the customer to initiate that checkup. That was disappointing, but whatever.) As we were coming up on one year, I called and scheduled an appointment for our complex. The first availability was three weeks out. Turns out Tanler booked time for just one home of our eight homes to be inspected. This is strange, because I had made clear they treated our entire property. Wouldn't they know to expect more than one home might want to get re-inspected, or wouldn't they at least know to ask up front how many homes would be wanting inspection? There is a problem with Tanler's scheduling. I can't tell you right away how many homes will want inspections when you offer me a date. I have to check with the other residents in the complex and find out how many want inspections AND will be available on that particular date. So if you can not book a date for me unless I can tell you how many inspections will need to be done, then there is a problem in your work process that needs to be fixed. In the end, they booked me for another three weeks out from today, when there is a window available for up to eight homes to be inspected. The lack of polish in scheduling caused a delay of six weeks and frustration for me and my neighbors. Not to mention that the termites didn't seem to get eliminated after the treatment one year ago. I still think this company is worth a shot. But Tanler's follow-up needs a lot of improvement. UPDATE - May 21, 2021: Business manager Jeff contacted me to hear my side of the story. He carefully listened and identified the pain points where the company can make improvements, and I'm very confident Tanler is sincere. In 2019, I bought a new home and had a termite and rat problem. I spoke to John and explained my issues. John showed up at my home the next day and gave me an offer that I felt was good. Within 2 days, his staff removed all the contaminated insulation, sanitized the attic and placed new insulation. they also took care of my termites as well. Fast forward to last week. i noticed some rats in an area that I didn't expect them. John came out the next day, assessed my home and placed traps at strategic places. From what I understand, rats are difficult to completely be rid of. However, Tanler has been very responsive to my needs. The staff that I've come across have all been friendly and professional. I had never used a pest control company before and had no idea what to expect. I had a emergency where squirrels came into my condo from my fireplace. I contacted Tanler and they had someone out to help me immediately. John, the technician, was extremely professional. He followed covid guidelines. John removed the squirrels and fixed my fireplace so this wouldn't happen again. I had a squirrel nest, which he removed and was extremely humane with the animals and relocated them to a safe place. I've hired TANLER Termite and Pest Control to treat my home for same. I had a few companies come out to evaluate what had to be done. JOSH, the inspector, was completely thorough, professional and respectful and did not oversell. We discussed the best way to resolve the issues and the pricing was very fair. So tanler came out and sprayed for ants at the end of September and it actually made them worse which they said might happen however they never got better. We even started finding ants in our bed a couple days after they sprayed so They then sent someone out to re-spray and they still didn't go away and we're still in our bed. Two weeks later I finally went to target and put out ant traps myself and sprayed with normal generic ant killer and they were completely gone in a day. Also we had them spray for spiders and didn't see any change in our house or backyard and I actually got two huge spider bites only about a week after they came and sprayed. There's still the Same amount of spiders there's always been. I know they say sometimes it takes a couple services for it to work but I was able to get rid of the ants in one spray myself and putting out a few ant traps so not sure why I can completly get rid of them in one spray and they can't. My mom also lives right next to us and uses another company and they spray just outside their house once a year and have no ant or spider issues. read more
