To my surprise, I was told that the owners had asked me to Zelle the cover charge. To be clear, I was never asking for a discount, exemption, or special treatment. I was simply trying to address the way I had been treated at the door and have a conversation with management. Over the years, I have spent a considerable amount of time and money at this establishment and have actively supported it by bringing many guests. I never expected preferential treatment because of that. What I do expect, however, is to be treated with basic respect and dignity. This review is not about the food, hookah, ambiance, or service inside the lounge, all of which I have genuinely enjoyed for years. It is about a customer experience and the choices made by management in handling that situation. A long-time customer who has consistently supported the business should not be made to feel dismissed or disrespected.
