I thought I would try this place out since my favorite Taco Stop was closed. It was not an overly busy night and one or two people ahead of me. I ordered food to go for four people: 4 tacos, a burrito, an enchilada plate, 3 tacos and a bowl of soup. I put my order in at 7:33pm. I waited and watched several people come in after me and walk out with their order. I saw one of my orders come out about 8pm. Another one trickled in a few minutes later, eye contact made with the the guy putting together the orders smirked as other orders passed mine. Finally at 8:14 my order was completed. The food wasn't cold but of course the temperature varied due to time. The only person that provided good service was the young lady who took my order. The food was decent. The cabeza taco was great but they only had enough meat for one. The are far too many options for bad service and intentionally ignoring a paying customer. An error is forgivable. I've been here twice now not sure why they have such bad reviews. Both times I've been here it's been really full and staff is really polite. Food is good. I've ate once inside and other time placed a order to go. There's a sign in Spanish that clearly says that food is made to order and so please be patient. When you walk into this establishment first thing you in counter is this really nice little old lady making fresh tortillas working non stop but still makes time to say hello. Food and there Mexican flavored refreshments are on point. Only thing I would recommend is that they add more seasoning to their carne asada. There chorizo and apastor is bomb. The carnitas was so delicious I couldn't get enough. The carne asada was excellent as it was well cooked over an opened fire. The juices were dripping with the deliciousness of love from the kitchen. I had the worst experience with the staff. I was waiting for my order and after I noticed that everyone who came after me had ordered and left with their order, I decided to ask he lady that was handing out my order for the status of my order. She responded very rudely and I asked her not to talk I me there way. I asked her to find out he status of my order and she said, "no". I asked to talk to the manager and none of the staff responded. I had the TACOS AL PASTOR with onions and cilantro and the SUPER QUESADILLA PRENSADO. OMGOODNESS!! The family had shrimp fajitas, fried shrimp, chicken milanesa all with rice and beans. The chile and chips made it just that much better. Prices were VERY reasonable especially with the portion size. They had '80's remixed music playing...I could go on and on. There are other places that offer tacos at this price every day so this is nothing special once again. The Pastor tacos are definitely better than the Asada in terms of juiciness and flavor.
