Came in to this Target (which recently had a fire) and was in search of a few unique items. I needed some fragrance free body wash (due to sensitive skin-too much info perhaps-lol), blue gift wrap paper (the blue die has properties that actually help protect various items), and a few more things. The blue gift wrap paper is going to be used to protect a family relic, (an OG Mr. Bingle-New Orleans folks know WHO or WHAT he is lol). And since the one I have is a keepsake from the OG Maison Blanche dept store from back in the day, I need to take that extra step to protect him-and the blue wrapping paper does just that. Lastly, I was in need of a few to go containers that transform into nice little packages for carry out grub These not only look nice and provide a few aesthetics, but will come in handy as I prepare to send more and more folks on their merry way with my Holy Bell Peppers! Did I mention CSA, or customer service All Star Edwin (pictured) led the way, particularly when it came to the body wash, which was in a different isle of the store from last time and thank goodness was no longer under lock and key! read more

This Target is located inside the Westfield Culver City Mall. It's a pretty big Target and seems to be well stocked. The big negative is that a lot of the smaller, more valuable items or commonly stolen items are locked up like at most Walmarts. I totally understand as Culver City is not one of the nicest of cities in the greater Los Angeles area. There is a parking garage for the mall, so there are plenty of parking. The parking garage has a sign as you enter that shows how many parking spots are available. The garage also has lights above each space (red = occupied and green = available) which made identifying available spaces quickly. I came into Target to purchase a new lightning cable to use with my rental car for Apple CarPlay as well as a few other items. Of course all cell phone/electronic charging cables are locked up. I pushed the button for assistance, but after waiting 5+ minutes, no one came, so my wife had to go find someone in electronics to help us which still took another 5+ minutes as they were helping other customers checkout. We did have to pay for the charging cable at the electronics department, so we also paid for a couple items that were in our hands despite not finishing our shopping there yet. We ended up having to pay for other items we still needed at the front cashier which was an inconvenience. Overall what should have been. This has got to be one of the worst Target stores I've been to. I keep trying to give it a fair chance -- you know, walk in with an open heart and a shopping list -- but every time I leave, I'm reminding myself why I don't stop by more often. Now, let me be fair: there is one young lady who works there with an amazing personality. She's friendly, helpful, and you can tell she actually enjoys her job. I wish I could bottle her attitude and sprinkle it over the rest of the store. Because everything else? Whew. Kids are running around like somebody yelled "recess," aisles are messy, and the whole place feels... chaotic. Not the usual Target vibe where you plan to buy toothpaste and somehow end up with a cart full of candles, pajamas, and a new throw blanket. No -- this one just makes you want to grab what you need and head right back out the door. I don't know what's going on over there, but I do know this: This Target is a whole experience... and not the good kind. read more

Pretty basic target located inside the Westfield Culver City. Majority of the scanners were turned off / broken so that was kind of annoying to check pricing on some items that lacked a price tag. Found some good discounts on some Wilde chips though so that was cool. read more

I like the convenience of ordering on the app and picking up, and I appreciate that they attend to it every time, but I DID NOT ask for a substitution for this one item when I checked out online. They substituted it anyway, without letting me know; and on top of that, they overcharged me wayyy too much! I saw the product and the receipt when I got home, no way I'm paying $14 for a box of baking soda that's supposed to be less than $2. I don't understand what happened but definitely seems negligence on their part. I already disputed it and got it settled with my bank. But come on now, overcharging is unacceptable. Target really needs to chill about shrink - isn't that what security and loss prevention are for? Everything is locked. Self checkout - when it's open - has employees (in this case Neil) chatting with other employees instead of assisting guests - and then giving me complete attitude when I asked for help. Recommendations: - Better customer service - Keep self checkout open; other lines get way too long. - If you keep cabinets locked, then have someone there at all times. The call buttons have an average wait time of 10 min. - Unlock cabinets and get better LP/Security so the whole shopping experience doesn't feel non-premium read more

When they came to my turn, he advised me the amount I asked him to restate the amount he asked "is that to much" I didn't ask him for any of his opinion if he doesn't want to come to work don't come to work. He needs to understand the value of work and realizing that he is lucky to be there. I let the managers know, a woman and a man name, Manuel. I hope this does get handled. read more

Not gonna lie, I was kinda disappointed and confused this last visit. Target in the morning is fine; less crowded, the shoppers are more polite yet there aren't always enough workers to help check you out... but the evening crew is just not the same. Also, a lot of the products in the beauty and health section were behind locked glass doors. So after waiting to grab the lotion, I went two aisles over and saw (to my surprise) a bunch of the same lotion (that had been locked up on the other aisle) out on on display for anyone to snag and put in their shopping cart... what the heck??? Same for the crest whitening toothpaste. Locked up and then on open display 2 aisles over... but like, why lock those items up and not the contact solution or vitamins? also, the food aisle that said "oil and vinegar" had zero vinegar All said, if you're looking for some memory foam pillows but don't want to pay full price, check out the different options in the back of the store. This is my retail therapy store. I enjoy walking through this store during my lunch break. Get in and get out. Plenty of free parking. The store is neatly stocked and organized. Yes there is a Starbucks cafe in this target. Do you ever check the $5 items at the front of the store? If you don't you should. You will find neat items that are useful or can be useful. read more

Shop Amazon instead! First, almost all of their personal items are locked up so you have to wait around for a person to finally make it over to you to unlock the cases. Second, they don't bag your groceries anymore. I just checked out and Neil threw all of my purchases into a big pile at the end of register and just left them there. This store is garbage. read more

The last 3 times I've been here, checking out has been the most nonsensical bs I have ever experienced. I get why people steal from here because checking out is a nightmare. You don't need 15 self checks for 10 items and you need more than 2 staffed registers open. God forbid you try to get your kids an icee because that self checkout is off and you have to go back through the lines. So I have been looking at phones for 3 months or more and I just happened to find an opportunity in target to make that happen. The guy that was helping me was great until I tiried to get the $200 gift card offer which they said was no longer even though the sign for it was still up. Which is funny because I was there a week earlier and they said they didn't even have the phone I got. So 2 things, they could not take my trade in which he said I should get $700 for which turned out not true. Then he told me to call my new carried for the $200 gift card which they said I couldn't get until I mail them my phone at which point I feel they will change their mind once they get my phone. This Araceli girl walked up to my cart... put her foot out and her body firm as she told me that I HAD MORE THAN TEN ITEMS AND THAT I WOULD HAVE TO GO ELSEWHERE. Well that was the problem YOU HAD NO WHERE ELSE FOR ME TO GO. And even if you did, I'm here. She did not say hello, and walked up to me with A VERY HOSTILE Attitude. So I pushed past her. She storms off and said that she was GOING TO GET SECURITY TO GET ME OUT OF HERE.!! Completely pissed me off.! HOW DARE SHE.!! I dont know what you all are TEACHING/ instructing your employees to do... but walking up to a very opinionated individual like myself got her nowhere.!!! She bet not EVER SAY ANYTHING TO ME AGAIN.! Twas a great experience at this target. The Isles were clean and maintained and Best Yet the staff kept Lines Moving and the Checkers very efficient. This is by far the worst Starbucks I have ever been to. They are constantly out of stock of everything including their own cups and straws. They almost never have cold brew. The staff are very rude as well as if they are entitled to perform so poorly. Overall this is a bad representation of a Starbucks in my opinion. read more

This Target store is located at Westfield Shopping Center in Culver City. I'm a fan of their covered parking garage. The store itself was very clean and organized. Staff we came in contact with were courteous and helpful. I am also a fan of their Self checkout systems. Made the visit faster than normal. I just had the worst experienced, I was in the check out line and the cashier ( young heavy set hispanic man with curly hair, they refused to give me his name) was finishing up with previous customer; a black woman and her daughter. She had a lot of items and was struggling to take everything way. He asked her if she could more her cart that she left at the beginning of the check out line. She said her couldn't since she was struggling with all her items. He then proceeded to tell her "Please don't be a Bitch and move her cart." I was shocked that he said that to her and in front of her daughter and me. She immediately asked for the manager, she did nothing. He told the manager that he just asked her to move her cart. I corrected him and told the manager that "No, He told her to please don't a BITCH and move her cart." He tried to back track and lie about the situation. Shame on you Target and do better with hiring and training your employees. read more

It really seems like every time I go to this Target, and it's been at least 10 experiences, there's an issue. It's convenient because it's in the mall, but really that's the highlight of the place. Her is a list of a few issues we've had: 1. Rude interactions with staff 2. obscenely long lines 3. We picked out shoes for our daughter. They told us at the register we couldn't buy them because the shoes were recalled. Get them off the shelves! We wasted so much time picking out shoes there. 4. Wifi is always spotty Honestly, even when I go to that mall, I now drive over to the other Target on Jefferson less than a mile away. It's not even worth it anymore here. read more

I couldn't find the cart wipes. Only saw associates at the return/exchanges counter. Walked over to ask where the wipes were. Waited while the two employees were talking sh*t about someone before they noticed me is the first bad thing that happened. After shopping coming to the registers, only one line was open with 8 people in line. Thought I'd try the self check out for my first attempt ever. The associate there asked if we had more than ten items, which we did. So we had to go back to the one open register line with even more people there now. I saw the same man I saw earlier walking towards me. I asked him if they could open another register. He said I'm heading over to do that now. I said oh good becuase ten people in the only open register line was not ok. He then raised his voice and told me three times to calm down. What? I'm calm, had not raised my voice or spoken in a disrespectful way at all. That is 100% rude and not ok. I stayed in my original line since the people in front of me moved to his line. I didn't get his name but he is very distinct and I can explain what he looks like to identify him. I hope Target sees this. He was awful. read more

Purchased several bathing suits with the hopes of finding one that fit. When I went in to return the ones I didn't want along with a couple items I purchased with my Target Red Card, I was advised by the associate that this particular store has a $200 daily limit on clothing returns. This was annoying and goes against Target's return policy. I requested a manager who approved the return. But since when do individual stores make up their own rules? This policy is not posted anywhere in the store, not on the receipt or Target's website. I asked a cashier if she was aware of this policy and she said no. I most definitely did not have fun on my Target run, and I'm wondering why the associate and manager made up new rules that don't follow Target's policy. read more

(next to the Chevy dealer and Sprouts) I tried calling 4 times today and no one picks up the phone to speak to a Target member, or it's on indefinite hold.
