I had a terrible time at this location today. I experienced incredibly rude service with three Target employees at the door guarding the exit. None of them smiled or greeted me. They look annoyed to be there. Then, I went in to pick up allergy medication. The nasal spray was locked up. I kept ringing the buzzer thing. It made a noise, but no one came. Then, I went to find someone and tried to go to the pharmacy but there was a long line. I eventually left without the allergy medication, because I had to pick up my daughter from school. It seems insane to have so many people guarding the door and no one available to help someone get the product that they will pay for. Something needs to change. Today, I picked up a curbside purchase. Curbside has been very convenient during Covid times. I have never had a problem before with this service. When I arrived home, I saw they only gave me 2 12 pack of the 7up Zero. I ordered 4 of the 12 pack of 7up Zero. Usually, I get an email from Target.com if they do not have the items. This time I did not receive an email regarding that I would be missing items. The employee who put my items in the car did not mention to me that I was only getting 2 12 packs of the 7up Zero. I am not sure of the process for making sure that the customers has all they ordered. I don't know what went wrong, but there should be a way for them to let the customer know they are not getting everything they ordered. I would thing they need to scan the items they are giving customer, but maybe not? Or the employee decided to scan 1 box for a total of 4? Again, I don't know what's their process. I called Target.com and was refunded the money for the missing items. It is an inconvenience to have to call when I feel it is their fault, but it's done. So lesson learned: check in with employee to ensure they are putting everything you ordered in your car. read more

But my last visit, I went to pick up an online order only to find out that I went to the wrong Target. I was really in a hurry and didn't really want to go to the other location. One of the staff behind me, suggested that I can look in the store and check if the store has in stock. She then directed me on where to go. I tried to use a $50 Target gift card I received at this location, they verified it was loaded with the proper amount of money but Targets policy is you cannot use a gift card to purchase another card. I was trying to purchase an Apple Card to reload my ITunes account. The manager was extremely rude and his supervisor, although very nice, was bound to not being able to do anything about it. This is ridiculous, a $50 card is worth $50 worth of merchandise, not limited to only high margin merchandise. Really like this clean larger Target location. They have almost everything. Clean store and stocked. The bathroom needs a redo and I know they have the money to get it cleaned up. Came here on a whim after getting my nails done nearby, the location was very clean, the staff all wear masks and some I noticed even more gloves. It seemed like the line that we were in for the checkout stand was kind of long but then they called over another staff member to help speed things along which I really appreciate it. They also have the Starbucks in the store and on our way out we went by and purchased a couple drinks which I have not had in a while. I think overall there was nothing very significant about this location because I shop at target so often, but the quality of it was top notch and I have absolutely no complaints. I really liked the one spot where they have the live plants though! The target closest to me in San Jose does not have that yet so I got to look at the new line of live plants and succulents and the fake succulents as well and I almost bought a couple but I figured I should find a space at home before buying them lol read more

This Target is in Pacific Commons so it's conveniently situated near restaurants. Came here on a weeknight to pick up some snacks. Was surprised that this location was not as crowded as the one in the Hub. At first glance, this Target is more spacious and has a lot more of items in stock. It's also very clean and workers are generally very friendly. However, my main complaint is the fact that they didn't accept debit cards at self-checkout. Not sure if it was because the system was down or payment options are limited. But this really caught me off guard. Would probably stop by if I was in Pacific Commons but won't go out of my way to shop here. It's not like Target is some fancy boutique that's one of a kind. DO NOT SHOP AT STARBUCKS! The young lady at the register was quite helpful and nice. The Asian teenager that made my drinks was HORRIBLE and exhibits NO COMMON SENSE. I PAID for two Grande's & he gives me two Tall's. I asked about it and he says, "my bad." Unfortunately, since my mother had just called me with medical updates, I was on the phone listening to her attentively and not able to pay close enough attention. He quickly hands me two grandes. I say thank you, and ask if I could have a bag to carry out the 3 baked goods I purchased from them. He turns the corner and grabs one from who knows where. I drive home, about 20 minutes. Open the bag to see it's a USED ONE WITH STAINS and a dirty cup holder inside! YUCK! This is not food safe! Then, it occurred to me how fast he got me the correct sized cups...so I open the lid of the two drinks and can tell this IDIOT only dumped the tall drinks in a grande cup. Yes, that's right! I PAID for a MEDIUM size and was given a SMALL size. I'm calling trying to speak to a manger and the phone line doesn't even work. It doesn't even ring. This target is pretty different from the target I always frequent, I'm not sure if it's because it's a newer building or what but I always find myself getting lost here, haha. This target is your basic target, has the iconic dollar spot in the front with the restrooms along with aisles of clothes and an area with fresh produce. The Starbucks inside this location is probably the biggest I've seen with a whole seating area, almost looks like an entire Starbucks spot cut and pasted inside of the target. Surprise! It's open! Sign says "Opening March 11", but they secretly opened their doors on March 6th. I love shopping in brand new stores. Everything is in-stock, aligned, shiny, unpilfered thru, and the only time the shopping carts actually track straight! This new Target has the familiar layout like all the other ones so you know where everything is. Bathrooms to the immediate left as you walk in, Starbucks to the right, as well as the deli. Grocery section all the way in the back where things like bananas are priced individually instead of by the pound. New staff who are all eager to help because this is either their first job or got recently laid off by some tech company. Does Fremont really need another Target? There's a two-story one on the West side of Mowry in NewPark Mall, one on the east side at the Hub, one right off Whipple in Union City, and now this one. Went to this new Target on Thurs 3/15/12 to check it out. It's easier to get to on Christy St in Fremont because there's too much traffic from Costco to take Pacific Commons Blvd. There's lots of Electric Vehicle Parking w/ Charging Station in the middle of the parking lot. Bathrooms in the front on the Left near Guest Services. Quiet carts to use & that don't make scratches on your car. There's Pizza Hut Express & Starbucks inside the store. Grocery stuff available - frozen foods, fruits, etc. Saw a Hello Kitty Microwave - didn't want it, but it's funny. Flip flop for Spring/Summer priced at $2.50 Cheap clothes & almost anything you really need. Can't wait for the Century Theatre to open across the street in late April! read more

Some of the people recognize me as a frequent shopper at Target South & say hi or how are you, nice to see you etc. Never had anyone young or older not help me, or act like it was an inconvenience to them. I am short & often ask for help to reach items. Employees who are busy stocking shelves, etc. say of course with a smile & get the item for me. I do agree with a few things. I often find things that are outdated on the shelves & when it is something on my list, it is aggravating. Checkout sometimes is a nightmare. Only 1 checkout stand open & long line of customers. Or no checkouts open & have to search for an employee who can wait on me. Shelves are often empty & they are out of things. Taking all of this in account, I will still shop Fremont South; the employees are the main reason I picked this target to shop at. Just need some improvements. read more

Outstanding customer service and large selection of products. I live on the other side of Fremont but I drive across town because I can get consistent great customer service that the Hub Target doesn't have. The Pacific Commons store is larger than the Fremont Hub so the product selection is much better. Whenever I need assistance, the Pacific Commons employees are eager to help. Recently I purchased a defective product at the Fremont Target Hub. The manager was apathetic, treated me like a criminal, and refused my return. I thought I would go to Pacific Commons to see if they would help me. I went to the returns counter at Pacific Commons Target. A young lady named Kristina O. listened to my concern regarding my defective product, showed empathy and understanding, and began processing processing my return. A few minute later a manager named MJ (Jessica) came over to the returns counter to chat with me. She apologized for any inconvenience on the behalf of Target and made sure the return was properly completed. This is just one example of how Target Pacific Commons employees are willing to go above and beyond to help the customer. Don't hesitate to shop here you won't be sorry. read more

Target has the hidden talent of showing you things you didn't go to the store to purchase and making them magically appear in your basket at check-out; this store is no different. I lived in Fremont, CA for a year and this was my go-to when I was in the area. There was one which actually was a little closer to my house, but this location is clean and HUGE! Where else can you go for a a cute top to wear to a friends birthday party...oh and grad a bottle of vodka to bring too (along with the birthday present, the wrapping, and the card)! The food and alcohol section of this store is quite elaborate, along with a Starbucks, cafe, and curbside (a service that will pick up your items for you so you done even have to even go into the store--a great service for those who are busy (or just lazy...you know who you are...I see your fitbit/jawbone). I've been a fan of Target for a while, and this location is 5 stars for carrying everything and the kitchen sink (Wait..I think that might be something you CAN'T get a target...but you can get everything that adorns a bathroom around it). read more

I was shopping For groceries per usual when I overheard a conversation between what seemed to be a manager with one of their employees and all I can say is I'm disappointed with the tone and attitude he had with that employee. Using sarcasm or disregarding the employee and/or their feelings is not something one of the managers should be doing. I ended up asking one of the employees who they were and it turns out that was their human resource manager! Kind of ruined my shopping experience...if you need help I wouldn't recommend asking him, I can see how he talks to his employees I couldn't imagine a customer like myself ! read more

Jessica and Patricia at the customer service counter are two of the most mean, angry, hateful, racist people I have encountered in a long time. I was returning a couple items, they both Patricia and Jessica were making comments at me and when I asked why she (Patricia) didn't clearly state the return price of each item when I asked, she told me "I don't have to", and proceeded to complete the returns after I told her I didn't want to return one of the items, that I'd keep it, she wouldn't void that item, she proceeded to return it and refused to let me have my product back. she denied her racial slurs and comments. Jessica was very mean. She said something I cannot even write here. She also told me she was "Thee manager", when I asked to speak to a manager. when I asked her what the name of the store team leader (the store manager) is she could not state his or her name. she said "oh I forgot, I can't remember". Before we headed to check out we stopped and grabbed 2 Quarts of Reduced Fat Milk 2%. And then proceeded to check out bough our Products and left got home put everything in the fridge. And this was Last night just before closing. . Wanted some cereal so i poured myself a bowl & was about to dig in. One bite and i had a bad bitter after taste once it was swallowed. Then sat there and smelled my bowl. Something was off so i opened the quart & began to pour some into the sink. Clumps of curdled milk came out.
