Make sure you check your receipts at checkout at this Target. Last night when I went to self checkout, the cashier nearby had no business and offered to check out. When he was done, right then I checked my receipt and noticed he charged me twice for a few of my purchases for a significant amount. When I pointed this out, he said I then had to go to customer service and to get a refund of the amount he overcharged me, wasting more time. I really like this Target. It's close to my work and easy to get in and get out. The parking lot is rather large and I almost always find a really good parking space. The inside of the store is nice as well. Everything is clean and the place is well lit. The aisles are laid out nicely and easy to find items. I love stopping here on a lunch break to get my necessities or just to browse. I like searching the Clearance end caps because they usually have some good stuff. Overall, I'd rather shop at Target than Wal*Mart and this is a pretty nice Target. It's got everything a traditional Target has, plus a grocery market and a Starbucks inside. read more

Ah, Target, you get me every time! I shouldn't be allowed in here without adult supervision. Go in for a box of tissues and leave with $50 worth of stuff including candles, cat toys and a shirt...nothing that I intended to buy. Every. Time. This location is clean and well-kept. Staff here is always welcoming and it's been a very off occasion when we have made it through the store without someone offering help or asking how we are doing. A drawback here is the physical location itself. Much like the Desert Ridge location, this one can be interesting to get in and out of for walking, parking, and maneuvering. There are a lot of other shops in this tight shopping complex, and it can be a bit of a beast to watch all the various ways cars are going. A definite stop during Christmas season, it's also a good place to find gifts for co-workers and friends....when you don't want to spend too much money. We went to three different Target's today looking for a couple items (Tempe Rio Salado, Frank Lloyd Wright, and Scottsdale Talking Stick) and the difference between them really shows. I give major probs to this location. Not only was the store impeccably clean and organized, but the staff was so welcoming (greeted by almost every staff member) and helpful (couldn't find something in a department that the staff member didn't manage and made sure we were helped, plus manager realized we were having a coupon issue and made sure to handle right away). The service was so rude and not guest focused at all. I am looking at the recycle bags. Practically get ran over by one of your team members. I turn around to go pay then another team member comes in front of me with a pallet of wine. Clearing seeing me there she should have waited! Did we forget that the guest comes first??? Cashier Sheri/Sherry was very rude tonight- first time I encountered a rude rep here. I placed two towels on the tread and told her I weren't going to purchase them, and then quickly placed a third item on top- a long robe, which I also did not want to buy. She rang the robe up, so I had to tell her sorry, but that I didn't want it. I then placed three towels and two thermal shirts to purchase. I stopped to search for the mobile promo code that I had found earlier, but saw that they were online only codes. I said I was just going to buy them without, and then I asked if she knew about any promo codes I could use, to which she replied that there were only online codes, not in-store. I thanked her, to which she said nothing, and she also did not say thank you and goodbye, which I thought was rude. I visited TJ Maxx after and found three towels I liked (and where I was thanked for coming in, I might add), so I went back to Target and returned the towels I'd bought. I found it ironic that the employee that left a bad taste in my mouth earlier was manning the returns counter, so it was she that credited back the money I spent on the towels that would forever remind me of her had I kept them. I love Target! I go here for almost everything!! They recently just updated their grocery section to include fresh produce, I would have given 5 stars if they would have just made it a Super Target!! I frequent this Target often and I never leave the store empty handed! I love how they have recycling bins right in front of the registers! It is so convenient to be able to bring in old plastic bags and empty plastic bottles to be recycled especially because where I am living does not offer such recycling. Every employee has always been very friendly. When I have had to return items there have never been any issues or hassle. If you live in the north Scottsdale area I would definitely recommend shopping here over Wal-Mart any day!!!! read more

the parking lot at this location is a little small. I know everyone is out holiday shopping so they're probably more people inside the stores than normal but I hate when I have to walk almost 5 minutes from my car just to get into the store. I feel like that is entirely too small for a person to walk. I feel like these stores should build bigger parking lots knowing that certain times of the year they have more people coming inside the store and they should accommodate people. Especially considering the fact that they are making so much money during the holiday season you would think they would be able to afford it and put it back into the customers by providing a bigger parking lot so we did not have to walk so far to bring the items that we purchased from their store to our car. Target is one of my favorite stores. They have everything you can possibly need. This store is always so neat and organized. They have super fast checkouts which is a huge plus. I live close by so I am here multiple times a week. I was in here today looking for baby items and the sales associates were so helpful and informative. I love this Target because it's big, clean and bright with everything I need including groceries. I also always find great things that I didn't know I needed, so it can be dangerous to shop here unless you're disciplined. Hi everyone. I wanted to give a huge shout out to Diana and the store manager (don't have his name) at the Target on Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard in North Scottsdale. After a long day of work, I stopped by this Target store to pick up a few things before I went to dinner and then home. One of those items was a bottle of Tide detergent. I purchased my items and left the store. I didn't bag my bottle of detergent because it has a handle so why would I waste a bag on it? I sat the bottle of detergent on the passenger seat of my car along with the bag of other items I purchased. I went to get a bite to eat, then home. When I was getting the items out of my car to go into my apartment, I noticed a horrible blue ring on the seat! The bottle of detergent was leaking! The very next day I got to the store early - right when it opened and spoke with Diana. She was skeptical at first (as I'm sure all customer service managers are) but it was clear that the bottle was leaking. I even took a photo of the shelf it was on when I picked it up the previous evening (blue ring there too). She spoke with her boss who offered to give me $50 to get my seat cleaned. The seat cleaning was $49.99. I brought the receipt for the seat cleaning back to Target and gave them the one cent back to cover the full $50. They could have made no effort to make the situation right and I would have been left with that bill, but they chose to keep a long-time customer happy. After a terrible customer experience at Walmart (goodness you wouldn't believe it!!)) I decided to stop by Target today and get the rest of the things I wanted and see if I can switch our family and friends to this store. Anyways TARGET is so much better!!:)) It has less choices and maybe a bit more expensive but hey: it shows in how nicely I have been treated and how impressed I was with how everything was in place and faced the right way. The aisles were clean and nothing was blocking my path, I found things easily and at the very end at the checkout the sweetest little blonde lady took my things and carried it over to save me time scanned my shopping at the customer service desk. My wife was at Starbucks and she bought a cup, it said on the cup $14.99 when she bought it, it was actually $25 and they refuse to sell the price that was on there.
