Cheese boerek with a bite taken out of the top
    Jackie X.

This bakery was recommended to me by my Armenian boss. He suggested I order ahead of time if I didn't want to wait, but when I was in the area and decided to go last minute, I just pulled up! There were a few parking spots open, the mid size lot is shared with multiple businesses. The bakery itself is very small with no seating inside, just a few tables outside. There was a small line. I grabbed a bottle of Yogurt drink from the fridge and we decided to get one lahbajune each and a cheese boerek to share since we were just there for a snack after walking around Forest Lawn Cemetery. It seems like they continuously make fresh bread during the busy hours because a baker was repeatedly dumping lahmajune down onto the counter, where they looked piping hot with steam. After ordering, the woman quickly packed up our order and provided napkins. The prices are super cheap! We ate the lahmajune in the car. I would recommend bringing lemons or buying lemons ($1 at the bakery) to give it some more tang, but we were still extremely satisfied with it. The bread was super thin and crispy, and there was a good amount of meat topping. It was flavorful and fresh, delicious! The yogurt drink was fine to me, I finished it all but typically prefer sweet yogurt drinks which this was not. Still tangy and definitely healthy! At home we reheated the cheese boerek and ate it with some soup. The bread smells absolutely delicious and the cheese filling was thick and yummy! I think the cheese boerek was definitely my favorite and I would definitely like to try the other kinds! Would definitely come again when I'm in the area!

Wow Taron Bakery absolutely blew us away! We stopped in for the first time and ordered the spicy borek, and let me tell you... it was to die for. Fresh out of the oven, perfectly warm, just the right kick of spice, and the cheese was incredible. We also tried the meat lahmajune and again, wow! Hot, fresh, and full of flavor, you really can't beat that. It's a small bakery with limited outdoor seating, and they were super busy when we visited, so we didn't get much interaction with the staff. But honestly, the food speaks for itself. Everything was so good we didn't even get a chance to take pictures before we devoured it! Highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area. We'll definitely be back!

My coworker got lahmajedn from this bakery, and it was my first time trying Armenian bread. The bread was so fresh and tasty. My favorite ones are Spicy cheese and spinach. I can't wait to try it out at the store.

Meat tasted like lamb! It was either old or they added lamb meat or lord knows what! Disgusting!!!!! Threw away

Food- their breads were fresh and tasty. Meat pie had been seasoned to perfection. Cheese bread was moist and flavorful. Zatar and spinach pie were tasty too. Service - friendly and fast Ambiance- old school bread bakery I highly recommend this place and would definitely return to try other pies/breads on the menu.

Spicy cheese, potato, cheese, spinach beoreks. And a random cheese puff pastry. Fresh from the oven.

The Lahmajunes (Armenian flat bread pizza) here are the best! The meat mixture is a combo of beef and lamb with tomato paste and spices. Simply delicious! Eat the lahmajune plain or with a squeeze of lemon or add veggies to them was the friendly suggestion from the staff. I also got one of each savory turnovers or hot pocket looking bread called: beorek. The potato and spicy cheese were our favorites. Taron bakery has 3 locations: Glendale, Hollywood, North Hollywood.

    Cheese borek. SO GOOD!

This was my first time trying lahmajune and I really liked it! It was nice and light with good flavor. I love savory breakfasts so this was my jam. I don't know if lahmajune is a breakfast item or just a quick snack, but since this bakery was open early, I'm assuming it can be enjoyed anytime of the day. The cheese beorek was delicious. The spinach beorek was flavorful. I took turns biting into both to make a cheese and spinach version in my mouth. The chef was kind and asked if I wanted the cheese beorek at room temp or hot. Pay cash for a slight discount. Credit cards need a $10 minimum purchase.

I happened to be at the tire shop across the street getting the tires changed on my car and needed to pick up some pastries for guests that were coming over that same day. One of those guests happens to be a baker so I really needed to find some fresh delicious pastries. I checked Yelp for nearby bakeries and La Jaconde popped up with really great reviews so I drove right across the street and picked up some baked goods. I picked up this big pastry that was stuffed with cream cheese and sour cherries (TRUST ME you want this), a box of mixed cookies and bite sized goodies, and a box of stuffed dates (don't knock it until you try it). EVERYTHING was fresh. Everything was tasty. And it got the stamp of approval from the baker friend. The cream cheese and sour cherry stuffed bakery literally disappeared in 10 minutes, and that thing was not small by any means. I returned to this same place the following week to pick up some savory baked goods for some friends, and the owner was at the shop and was so kind and so proud of his products (as he should be). Needless to say this is going to be my bakery of choice. I'd drive past 5 shops to get to this one any day.

The cute outside tables with umbrellas gave out an awesome Eastern European vibe, where the patrons are sitting in a cafe and sipping on their latte with a croissant or enjoying a nice plate of food. I tried the Beef Lula kabob plate, which came with thinly sliced baked potato, a grilled pepper and tomato, as well as with a side of Armenian salad. The Beef Lula kabob was pretty tasty, although I expected for it to be more juicy. The baked potato slices were plain, without any salt or spices. It felt like they needed a bit more flavor. The grilled veggies tasted great and very fresh. You could tell that they use quality ingredients. The Armenian salad had cut tomatoes, cucumbers and onions and was tossed in very yummy light dressing and was very delicious. You truly could taste freshness and quality all throughout , but with any Armenian food spot, I guess you just expect more marinade and spices to be in your food. My plate felt more purist, but I guess it allowed me to taste the meat and potatoes more in their pure form. In addition to a nice selection of kabobs that they cook in front of you, Art's has a variety of delicious-looking side salads and just a massive selection of baked sweet pastries and cakes. I plan to come back here with my dad so he can try this food and feel this awesome, European vibe of an ambiance. The customer service was friendly and attentive. I definitely plan to come back and try some of their other plates!

Always a pleasant experience at these bakeries. This Glendale bakery café was clean, bright, and beautifully organized with a large variety of pastries, cakes, and drinks on display. I tried the Strawberry Soft Cream Cake, Berries cake, Curry Croquette, and their signature iced Korean lattes. The pastries were soft and flavorful without being overly sweet, and the cakes looked just as good as they tasted. The curry croquette wasn't a favorite of mine. It was my first time trying and the spices didn't amaze my palette. I will have to try their garlic bread next time if I feel like getting something savory. Their sweets are always a hit for me! This was for a birthday party, so having the cake ready as promised was extremely important. What was most frustrating was the lack of accountability. Instead of offering a meaningful solution, discount, refund, or apology for the inconvenience, I was simply told to pick a different cake or wait another 30 minutes for a replacement. Mistakes happen, but giving away a prepaid custom order and then acting as if it's a minor inconvenience is unacceptable. The whole reason for pre-ordering and paying in advance is to avoid this exact situation. Unfortunately, this experience caused unnecessary stress on an already busy day, and I cannot recommend this bakery based on how this issue was handled.
