Great service, delicious customizable drinks that are worth the price for it's size. As someone who is lactose intolerant, it is awesome that the standard dairy option is non dairy. Tiger milk tea $9.15 32oz Winter melon milk tea $7.95 32oz + honey boba $0.80 Bootea Shaker $6.15 20oz Free shared parking lot

One of the OG tea shops in SGV and it's pretty hidden in a massive plaza. The plaza it resides in nowadays is not too busy, you'll often find tons of parking where Tastea is in the back. Their menu is huge and you could take a long time to even get through the entire thing. I recommend their matchas as one of their signature drinks. Staff here is great, they're very friendly and quick as well. My partner and my orders were out swiftly as we visited to get their BOGO on National Ice Tea Day. Portions are huge which was a shocker to me even though I've seen the cups before. Very refreshing although it's the ice tea tasted bitter for some parts. Overall, decent drinks, and definitely a spot you can visit if you want variety of drinks.

As an update, they don't take orders over the phone for pick up. Only come in to place the order or app orders only.

Came for the viral mango coconut drink. I liked that you can adjust the sweetness. The sago and mochi were cooked well, chewy and not overcooked. Good amount of fresh mango chunks, it didn't taste frozen. The mango flavor on the mango slush part could have been stronger, it tasted watered down. $8.30 for the drink so it's pricey. Overall it was good but the Heytea mango coconut boom is still superior

First time here. Caught my attention with the Grade A by the window. I got the Jasmine milk tea 20oz with green bobas. Bobas taste fresh and soft. You can actually taste the tea. It's located in the plaza where 99 ranch market is at. The store is next to MPO eyecare optometry. Plenty of parking. The store isn't very big. There are only 4 tables and a few seats. Overall, not bad. Service was fast and server was nice. There are board games if you decide to sit down and chill.

Had the Taro Fantasy and it was a Fantasy indeed. It took me to a place I've never been before and it was Delicious! I love Taro so much that I guess you can say that I'm kind of addicted to it lol. Plenty of parking spaces in the Plaza area here. Plenty of drink choices and flavors to try. Would highly recommend this place to all who is searching for a "Tastea" drink. Service was very good here. They pretty much helped me on things to try but I just wanted my Taro lol.

One of my favorite places to get boba. Service was fast and friendly! Clean environment! Plenty of parking spaces. So many drink choices and flavors to try. Tried most of their drinks, and they're good. Tiger boba 5/5

I really like Tastea for all their drinks and snacks. As for the drinks, they give a good amount of toppings and they have a strong tea flavor. It doesn't taste watered down at all. Tastea is 626 OG staple and I really appreciate the affordability, efficiency in receiving the items, and the fact that you can just chill at the store. There's a good amount of seating and they provide games as well. Not pictured but I do really enjoy their snacks as well. Their popcorn chicken, fries, and newest pizza rollz are delicious. They're hot and fresh and packed with so much flavor. It's perfectly crispy which makes them my favorite guilty pleasure snack to enjoy accompanied by the boba.

I have been to this shop off and on, mostly when shopping at the 99 Ranch, which is adjacent. I like that the staff is very ready to answer questions about the drinks, making recommendations and making sure you enjoy what you ordered. Also a plus for me that their base creamer is non-dairy, and not with an extra charge. Most recently I tried their Vietnamese ice coffee with banana foam. My understanding is that they use fresh banana and banana pudding in the foam. It's an unexpected combination to me, but it works well. They also helped me adjust the amount of sweetness since the banana foam is sweetened. The coffee is strong and it's really nice to have fresh flavors vs. a syrup. It's a great stop for a treat.

Muddy Melons. Forgot to take a picture before drinking it lol

We've been coming here for years and the drinks never disappoint. Honestly, the drink menu is sooo yummy. You have to get the Muddy Melon, it's so damn good.

My new favorite item to order - Peach Me Sweet Tea - love the pieces of fruit and the perfect amount of sweetness! This drink is light and refreshing! Customer Service was good!

I honestly just like all their fruit teas. The milk teas are not somthing i usually get here. My favorite is the lychee peachy. I stopped by with my sister for snacks only and their buttloada fries always hit! Service is quick and friendly.

Hi, when will the muddy melon come back? I noticed the watermelon heaven is back, but not the muddy melon.

Hi Jenny, the Muddy Melon is not returning this year unfortunately. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Hi Rui, yes our Vietnamese Iced Coffee is made with condensed milk.

What happened to the jasmine and thai matcha milk tea?

Their app doesn't have the food/"good eats" listed anymore for this location, but Arcadia does, is the kitchen closed here?

Hi Elle, thanks for your inquiry. Both of our Alhambra and Arcadia locations start serving food at 11am when the store opens. Please try opening the app at 11am and the Good Eats category will pop up at that time. Thank you!

Dose this location use any delivery service?

Hi Mabel, At this time, our Tastea Alhambra location does not offer delivery services. Thank you!

What is used to make your boba green? Is that artificial?

Elise it is a Food Coloring that makes it Green. It is not harmful at all and completely edible.

The coconut ice cream milk tea is a unique and delicious drink. Another standout drink is the matcha frostie with creme brulee. I have never had a bad drink from this place. The menu here is very huge, maybe even too huge. There are so many drinks you could possibly order, ranging from milk teas to fruit teas to slushies to coffees and a lot more. I think it would be better if they focused on a smaller menu with some really good specialty drinks. Nevertheless, I will miss this boba shop.

I ordered the Pandan Milk Drink ($5.99 - 50% Sweetness - Regular Ice) with Brown Sugar Boba…read more(additional 80 cents). It arrived sugary with a strong vanilla, nut flavor. Unfortunately, the Brown Sugar Boba tasted funky. Some pearls had the flavor of soap. "Gross!!" I arrived at YOTEA (Rosemead) on Monday (around 12:16PM). Parking is simple if familiar with the area. There's a rear parking garage for customers. Staff is unmemorable and awkward. When I mentioned they mixed old and new menus together which displayed incorrect prices, Staff seemed amused and let them stay mixed. Staff avoided customer interaction whenever possible. The drink took two minutes and 10 seconds. Quick time. The Pandan Milk Drink ($5.99 - 50% Sweetness - Regular Ice) with Brown Sugar Boba (additional 80 cents) tasted artificial. It had a strong "candy milk taste," and it glowed a neon green when stirred. The first sip was pleasant, but as I continued to drink, the taste became more off-putting. Next, the Brown Sugar Boba tasted inconsistent. Some tasted perfectly fine, but others had the flavor of dishwater and gloop. I was tempted to throw it into the garbage can. Concerning ambiance, YOTEA (Rosemead) has potential. Ignoring the cobweb underneath one table & the somewhat old furniture, there's utility. This location has about 10 electrical outlets. Wow! There's also customer internet with password; the internet information is taped onto the black register. There's also a customer gender neutral restroom. YOTEA (Rosemead) is also very spacious. The ceiling is very tall, and there's many spots to sit. There's about 16 tables!! If desperate for a study/work spot, this is a decent choice. There's also upbeat, smooth music. Overall, I had a disappointing experience at YOTEA (Rosemead). There's utility and potential, but this business feels old and unmaintained. Rather than clean, Staff just chattered amongst themselves. Any passion that rang within these walls dissipated a long time ago. Currently, YOTEA (Rosemead) is simply mediocre. 2.9 out of 5

I'm sure others rave about the drink sleeve with the trusty rope handle. Which is surprisingly sturdy. I mean, don't go swinging around your highly crafted drink you paid good money for. This drink instantly brightens my day. The staff are friendly and ordering from the self-service kiosk makes it quick and easy. It's definitely a grab and go spot.
