Let's start with the restaurant itself, - friendly staff, very clean, very comfortable, crowded but not too noisy. There were 6 of us, everyone got something different and everyone raved about how good the food was, from the fried chicken and waffles to the omelettes- just really good food and the size of the serving were huge, easily could be split between two people as we all took food home. We were very excited to eat here because the menu looked great. The server was very nice, but my nephews drink came with a hair in it, and when his breakfast came it had a dead mosquito in the hash browns. Pretty gross. Like any other new breakfast place. Very modern and pretty inside and food is decent for the price. You get decently big portions and the staff is very attentive. I got the feta and roasted pepper omelet with hash browns and a biscuit. Omelette was good however way under salted, still would order again though. I am flabbergasted and very disappointed in the quality of the food they presented us with. We were excited to order from here since it is so close to home. We ordered the food and it was ready faster than expected which was nice. However upon receiving the food all hopes were lost. We ordered the Tasty chicken and bacon waffle signature. It was delivered in 3 separate boxes which we thought was strange. Once we opened the boxes we were left speechless. The chicken seemed like there was grease poured over it and had no flavor. Just ok. My daughter and I stopped here for a celebratory breakfast because she just got her license and the food was just ok. Nothing to write home about. She got the barbacoa omelette(flavorful but fatty) and I got the chicken fried chicken(a solid piece of chicken breast with coating). I asked for egg whites and got a crazy amount of eggs but I don't feel the eggs were completely cooked. Maybe it's just a me thing but I need my eggs cooked fully. None of the meal sat well with our stomachs. I had a lump in my stomach all day and could only manage to eat dinner when we had breakfast around 8/9 am. I'm bummed to leave a review like this because I'm he service was great. It's a cute restaurant. The amount of food is no joke. Just wish the flavor and quality was there to match the presentation. One more thing on the day we visited. The middle stall and the 3rd stall had no toilet paper. I know this because I got a 911 from my daughter to come save her with TP. Then since I was in the bathroom I went to the handicap stall because the first stall was dirty but that was the only stall that had TP. I love this place! I always order The Extreme French toast. I like mine without the bananas and pecans and even though I DoorDash it every time, they never mess that up. Placed our order and waited 15 minutes..then someone came over( later found out it was the owner) and told us something we had upgraded on our meal could not be done. She also kept blaming the server instead of being the owner and taking responsibility and trying to make it right. Very disappointing. I gave one star since the server was nice and attentive. The rest of the staff were unfriendly. First, the place smelled a bit like dirty mop water. Perhaps that was because a worker was mopping the floor while customers were there. Then, as if planned, she mopped around all sides of our table, while we were eating! Then, she came back with a cart full of dirty dishes, parked it literally right next to our table, then walked away. Also, they gave us a roll that had a finger hole in the top where someone grabbed it. Really? I liked the atmosphere and the food was ok. The server was friendly. My complaint (as I've seen in other reviews) is with the charges not matching the menu. I ordered the basic crepes and chose a blueberry compote topping, which should have been only 1.25 more. They charged me for a blueberry/lemon crepe dish which was higher. I brought it to the attention of the server, she said the price comes out the same (not). The manager came over and she also said the same.
