The food here is pretty decent for fast food. However, the service is just terrible. For a single cheese burger I waited 15min. The place wasn't even busy. I watched my burger sitting on the ready station for 10min before I even got it. Been to this location several times over the past year and the service seems to just be getting worse. Very rude staff who barely acknowledged me other than to take my order (no response to a thank you or have a good day and really annoyed reaction time my asking for hot sauce) and also gave me the totally wrong order. Took way too long to receive food but was crowded. Restrooms require a passcode for use (get code from bar.) Good food. Not comparable to Harvard's Tasty Burger (Harvard's TB serves very juicy burgers, generous fries, and self serve pop) but provides a good fair in busy Boston. read more

Five stars on the Fast Food spectrum. As good as a fast food burger joint can get. The Big Tasty was excellent and the Veggie Burger was the best we ever tasted. Fries were hit and fresh. To the service comments, there was a manager standing around and doing nothing, but it didn't impact our service because the line folks were on top of it. Looking forward to the chain getting rid of the awful prepackaged plastic ware that gives us three times what we need plus the bird killing plastic wrap. read more

Beware! Be very careful dining at this restaurant if you are paying with a credit card. My wife purchased $23.00 worth of food for two on February 8, 2019. The person she was with left a cash tip. Tasty Burger then generously helped themselves to an additional 35% tip by charging it to our credit card. (Thank you to Capital One for notifying us!). Once we became aware of this my wife returned to Tasty Burger to address the problem with them. Tasty Burger asked if my wife had her receipt, which she didn't. Tasty Burger told her there was nothing they could do if she didn't have her receipt. They didn't apologize or offer to help in any way. We won't be dining at Tasty Burger anymore. If they can't be trusted with money, I'm not sure they can be trusted with food. read more

I went to this Tasty Burger with my sister one day. We ordered 4 burgers and 1 of the chicken nugget things. Once we got to the house we shared with the rest of the family and it was a little cold by then, because we walked, but it was delicious! I have no complaints about Tasty Burger. Anytime someone I know comes to Boston I take them there. The fries were amazing! The portions were a good size as well, I got full quickly. Compared to the Tasty Burger in Fenway, it's right next to the subway but has fewer menu items and not too much seating. Nevertheless, it's got same great quality burgers and fries. Shakes are a tad thick though. And no pool table :( but the low price will surely satisfy everyone. Nicely located in the Copley area so there are things to do once you're done eating. read more

Typical burger joint, similar to Five Guys. I debated between fries and onion rings, so asked the guy at the register which were better. He said the onion rings will be greasier if you don't eat them right away. I went with the fries, which were good but a bit salty for my blood. Forgot to tell them medium well, so my burger was too rare, which was my fault. Wasn't crazy about the location, the backside or this place looks into the Back Bay station, so a bit dark and kinda, I don't know, depressing?!? There is a small bar nearby to the restrooms. I'm re editing my review since when I wrote it I was a "bit" buzzed just a bit! it was late night and I was a little pissed at the wait and runaround. So here we go. Proper staff training goes a long way. 9/7/2015 we placed a simple order for food it took 30 to 40 min, to get our food. Been there 5 times since they opened, messed up orders every single time. It seemed that the staff behind the counter, was not properly trained. The term fast food doesn't apply here. Other than the long wait. One glaring pet peeve of mine is when I see the staff using, the same pair of rubber gloves handling the food touching the walls, counters, nose, hair, clothes and money all wearing THE SAME PAIR OF GLOVES, not good. The gloves should be constantly changed to provide good sanitation to THE CUSTOMERS. The communication between the register and the orders seems, wonky, the beeper system could really help, but they do not consistently use the beeper system properly, they use it sometime and don't bother other times and that adds to the confusion. I'm sure the people working there are nice enough but honestly it's not as cheep as macdonalds or Burger King or the other fast food burger joint competition in the area. People. Going there should get better service for there time and money. read more

Hello all, It is currently 3:20 A.M and I just got back from Tasty Burger. I just want to say the service was poor not from the workers but from the Manager. It was a stocky guy with a big beard. I ordered 3 burgers and Fries with a Green Monster. It came out to 32.26 all together. They supposedly ran out of food but I think the manager should of been a real man and told me straight up that it was closing time and it was too late to cook food.He first attempted to deny I ordered and told me to leave or he was going to call the cops until I showed him my credit card statement on my phone. Shout out to Chase bank for having pending charges show up as soon as I swiped. He decided to make me two burgers but he looks so pissed/mad that he had to make them I told him to stop making them and give me a gift certificate. I said," This is your job why are you mad for ? " I've worked in the food industry before and I've never ever treated someone they way I was treated on Friday night July 31st 2015. I was always told customer was always right and never even think twice or even gave a customer a bad look especially when I was in the wrong. After getting my two burgers I asked the manager If I can get a gift card for the other burger and fries I didn't get. He walked up to me in my face and told me to leave now or I was going to call the cops. I couldn't believe it. I literally asked for my own money back technically and you want to call the cops. Society has really change and has be become ridiculous in nature. Call the cops when Tasty Burger is at wrong and we all know how this goes. There is going to be a double standard and the cops is going to listen to the establishment before the little old customer also. It is really really sad to see. One of the ladies that I believe was supervisor or shift leader at the time tried to make amends and he told her know not too. I think the whole establishment was poorly run. I am not going to lie to you the burgers were amazing. First time here by the way. But first impression/ just in general bad service is something that everyone understand respectively like/hate.I just want that guy out of there stocky guys with a thick black beard down in Back Bay. Not gonna lie, I checked in here drunk at around 1:30 am on Saturday night. I got some fries and nuggets (not a burger idk why) no problems, didn't have to wait to long, and plenty of seats available. But if you're falling asleep, you can take your order to go too. So I'd say this place is a good late night drunk food option for sure. read more

Tasted as if I ordered a burger that was made weeks ago. Stale bread, all veggies and fried bits turned into mush in top mixed with the condiments then to top it off the burger was burnt and hard on the bottom. Like, the burger was not even flipped! The first time I went (when they first opened) the service was great, the food was good. Boy has that changed!! The young ladies working the cash register are friendly but the rest of the staff - awful! A verbal altercation actually broke out between employees when I was there. How professional! Anyways, I ordered a jalapeno burger and fries and received a sloppy burger. When I went to alert the staff, the manager was called and he says "what do you want me to do about it?" Seriously -The manager! Umm, I don't know, how about make the burger over properly or give me my money back - customer service/common sense 101. Went to this location with some friends looking to capitalize on the $10 deal for a burger, fries and beer after our misadventures in the nearby bars. It's a new location to me but having been to the Fenway restaurant many times I consider myself well-acquainted with tasty burger. When I presented my ID card to the bartender I wasn't surprised to find that she gave it a little extra scrutiny; I'm from Oregon and have been told by many bouncers in the Boston area that my ID feels like a fake. She asked for another form of photo ID so I gave her my student ID, and even my bank card so she could see that my name is consistent on all the cards. After further study she still didn't believe me, but decided to (begrudgingly) serve me anyway. I still don't quite understand the logic here, but I didn't feel like asking would alleviate any tension. I feathered out $10 in ones from my wallet and presented them to her, forgetting about tax. She didn't seem to pay mind of my error, but I put another $1 on the bar to make up for it, which was met with hostility. In response to the dollar said spat out that she "had better get a better tip than that for dealing with this." I elected not to respond, as I did not trust myself to remain cordial at that point. I neglected to tip her at the end of my meal mostly because I was so anxious to leave that I forgot, but after reviewing my dining experience I don't feel remorseful about this. Her attitude was unprofessional and her suspicion of me completely unfounded. I would be glad to give the bartender the benefit of my doubt; maybe she had a rough evening and I was simply the wrong person at the wrong time, but she can rest assured that she won't be dealing with me again. read more

The staff at this location are second to none! Unfortunately I didn't get the gentleman's name who helped me tonight (possibly the manager), but the service I received went well above and beyond that I have ever gotten at a restaurant. I placed my order with grubhub but mistakenly ordered from the Cambridge location! The employee immediately recognized this, and without hesitation communicated my order to his staff, telling me it would only be a few minutes. I was willing to pay again for the order, since it was my fault, but he assured me that wasn't necessary. My food was ready in a flash, and exceptionally good for TB.
