You name it. I visited this restaurant twice. The first time, I thought I had found a new go-to spot. The second time, I changed my mind. The biggest issue is the pricing. It keeps going up, and you never really know how much you are going to pay in advance. Let's talk about the food first. No matter what name they give it, this is basically a hot pot restaurant. Even if you judge the soup base as a real hot pot broth, it is not going to score very high. It is just average. The menu is interesting. It has English, but it is full of typos, misspellings, strange spacing, and random symbols. More importantly, you can never clearly tell the actual price from the menu. It is AYCE, but there always seem to be hidden charges, and you always end up paying more than you calculated. They offer several kinds of pots. I ordered the Frog Fish Hot Pot both times. The bullfrog was fresh, but not live bullfrog. Chinese people do have a special enthusiasm for live seafood and freshly killed meat. They also provide more than a dozen small side dishes, all included in the AYCE price, so do not hesitate to ask for more. I have to say, most of them are actually delicious. The portions are tiny, so if you like something, ask for several orders. Just be aware that almost all the dishes are salty and spicy. The Braised Lamb and Braised Intestines were good. I would not recommend the Braised Beef because it was way too spicy. I also would not recommend the Braised Chicken Feet, Cold Spicy Crispy Chicken, or Sweet and Sour Ribs. I immediately notified the restaurant and took clear photos of what we found. Management refunded our entire bill in cash, but what disappointed me most was how the situation was handled afterward. When I raised concerns about what we had just eaten and asked how they intended to address the incident, I was essentially told that there would be no further resolution and that I could seek medical attention if I felt unwell. Since the incident, I have personally experienced persistent nausea and loss of appetite when thinking about what happened. I have retained the original photos and have reported the incident to the appropriate health authorities. Finding something like this in food is disturbing enough, but I also expected the situation to be handled with greater concern and professionalism.
