Came here after work absolutely starving. I ordered and sat down in a mostly empty restaurant, and while I waited, I started regretting my decision. The place could seriously use a deep cleaning. The trash can had so much dried food and splatter built up on it that it was disgusting. Then I watched the employee preparing food come out of the food prep area still wearing his gloves, touch his hair, and wipe his face. At that point, I was already pretty grossed out. I decided to take my food to go, only to get home, bite into a chicken wing, and discover it was raw inside. Somehow they managed to cook the outside while leaving the inside undercooked, which is honestly an impressive level of failure. I called and they did give me a full refund, which I appreciated, but I threw the entire order away. Found this place by accident. First thing I noticed was no AC, so it was warm inside. Normally I would leave, but there were hardly any customers and decided to give it a try. This place is good size and has potential for being a good sports bar. The TVs are on the wall that face Lawrence Expressway. The brightness of the sun through the windows was a bit distracting as I tried to watch the TVs above the windows. As for the food, I tried the cheesey garlic bread with pepperoni. Recently visited this place to get some Indian pizza and I must say they have consistently maintained the quality and deliciousness of the pizza. As always we got half and half, paneer was one half and other half was pav bhaji. Both were equally delicious. We got their by 11:30am and they were open for business. The place was clean and the restrooms were clean too. They had all the condiments placed on the table, which was convenient. Staff is very friendly and attentive. We've been coming to this place for a long time. I personally love the garlic paneer pizza and we usually get half tandoori chicken pizza. The price increases here are stark and fairly frequent. Pizzas here used to be 14-16 dollars and are now almost 26/28 in a short amount of time. The pizza also seems to be smaller with each year. I will say though that the pizza itself is delicious and well made. The service is good as well. We call ahead and pick it up within 15-20 mins. This is another place I've been coming to for nearly 15 years. Been here dozens of times. For us, it consistently has delivered that spicy, distinct Indian taste that we want, delivered on a pizza. We've ordered the 3 idiots - spicy butter chicken pizza with jalapeños and butter chicken. Delicious. Also the Hero - butter chicken sauce, mushrooms, red onion. bell pepper, tomato, mozzarella cheese. Which is equally good. Unfortunately, the last 3 visits have not been as great as previous visits. I still think Tasty's is the best I've had. They really add a lot of sauce and flavor, and the spicy ones are actually really spicy. It's been easy to place an order online and pay ahead of time and yes, I always get a bit concerned about businesses that use DoorDash for delivery rather than their own employees... but so far so good. I especially appreciate that I can get both delicious Indian flavors as well as Italian style pepperoni and the like, for those who prefer that. Covers all the bases for a large group. Since I've ordered catering I always get a variety of course, and so I've had an opportunity to try almost everything. They're all very good but my favorites are the saag chicken pizza (Spicy Khai Nayak) and the tandoori chicken pizza (Spicy Dhoom Tandoori). Easy to talk to, flexible with customizations in order, quick service. All good in terms of service. Cleanliness: Also good here too. We have only ordered takeout so can't really comment much, but from what I see just by eyeballing the place - it looks pretty clean and organized. And definitely appreciate the COVID protocols they have been following. Taste: Delicious. Although it has been a hit or miss based on the toppings/variety of pizza you order - when we stick with what we like it has never disappointed. Our favorites are Betaab, Saagar, Pukar and Dilwale. There are many Indian pizza places in the Bay Area now, but I think this is one of the first and among the top 2-3. He was patient -(we asked a lot of questions, it was our first time) The place was clean. The restrooms were very clean. Love their garlic paneer pizza. It uses a special white yogurt sauce that's very tasty. I always order it by adding butter chicken and ask them to make it extra saucy. I've tried the same pizza at other Indian pizza restaurants, and this place by far makes it the best. However, one star off for inconsistency. I would say 70 percent of time the pizza is either over baked to the point that cheese on top is overly browned, or that you will receive something extra like way too much red onions or pineapple. When we contacted them- they did not take responsibility at all and said we had to talk to Doordash??? We didn't even order through them!! But directly form the website..!! When we tried to talk to the manager we got a nasty attitude and disrespectful treatment from them. We got charged $48 dollars and did not get any pizza delivered. The herb they used in this one wasnt as good as the butter chicken one. 3 idiots pizza-- SO SPICY. a little too spicy. It comes with A LOT of jalapenos AND spicy sauce underneath. I had some fiery poop the next morning. Beware! They curry chicken on it is amazing though. We got two pizzas and garlic bread. They were alright, the dough was good but the veggies on the zaraveer weren't even cooked it was as if they were put on afterwards. The garlic pizza was kind of bland. The service was whatever, the employee was on a personal call most of the time and never asked if we needed anything else. Also we asked to dine in and they gave us the pizza in to go boxes which was a bit weird but it was fine. My go-to spot for delicious, mouth watering food and great service. I love that the ambience is so lively and all staff greet you upon entrance. It's super clean and sanitary and everyone is following covid protocol. The managers were very accommodating and the owner went above and beyond to make sure I had the best experience. I love the Housefull special and the Agneepath. I got lunch catered for some of my meetings as well and got great feedback on the sandwich platters, wraps, salads and wings. Wow! Great place for an some what an unconventional style of pizza pie! The Hero pizza with its Butter chicken sauce was amazing! I also added the 3 Idiots and requested it to be extra hot. More of a gag gift for my fellow brothers of EMS. It was an amazing hit too! They loved it and enjoyed the crazy spicy goodness. First of all it's confusing to find they place as the signs say "Tasty Subs." I ordered 2 large pizzas for $32 with their running deal - 3 Idiots (butter chicken) and Dhoom (tandoori). The guy rang me up for 1 pizza for $18. I told him I ordered 2, so he rang me up for another 1 pizza for $18. This does not add up to $32. So he had to call in help to get it figured out. Ordering process took almost 10 minutes. Then it was taking awhile for food to come out, so we had to go ask about our order to get our food, and they had accidentally packed them up in boxes. They definitely need to up their employee training here. The pizzas themselves were quite tasty. The butter chicken did not have butter chicken sauce, but had a nice indian flavor and was quite spicy. The tandoori chicken was good as well. The crust is pretty substantial, which I like. I do recommend trying an Indian pizza here since it is so unique, but hopefully they get their act together soon. read more
