You really can't miss this if you are in bay. A typical Italian style with blended indian version of taste is too good. The crust is very thin on a regular style pizza is too good, I like the crust to be thin then some pizzas offering thick crust with so much cheese and toppings on them. They got unique style of toppings and cheesing on top. Last time we got here a bunch of pizzas in a get together, all the kids in the group loved it. The ambience is very simple and neat. Tip: When we went, there was a buy one get one 50% off offer that was not on their website - maybe try calling in and ask for any promotions? I usually dislike fusion, but I love Indian Pizza! My favorite is Bombay Pizza House (BPH) in Fremont. I've finally come around to Curry Pizza House(CPH) in San Mateo which saves me bridge toll. The two are very similar in their offerings, but Bombay is still the best. What does My Indian Pizza have to offer? I was very pleased to see different sets of toppings: Gongura and Haryali. Neither me nor my husband knew what either was, so we ordered both. It's $2 for half 'n' half (BPH and CPH do not charge extra). Normally we wouldn't pay extra, but if the place ended up not tasting so good, I may never return. On a Monday night, there was ample parking in a small strip mall off of El Camino Real. The store is clean and well kept. Our pick up was easy and convenient. I would add that the exit further North is harder to leave because your vision is blocked by parked cars. Haryali: I don't know what haryali is and the description online only says: "HARYALI SAUCE, CHICKEN, RED ONION, CORN AND FRESH CILANTRO." Looking online, I believe haryali is a mixture of mint, green chili, and coriander. I would interpret haryali as Indian green curry. (I don't even know what Thai green curry is - I just like it). It was a light, but different flavor. My husband could taste the mint, but I could not. Maybe because I have my own mint plant at home and I eat several leaves per serving. After eating the gongora, it was hard to taste the subtle flavor of the haryali pizza except for the sweetness of the red onion and maybe the corn. The corn might have been fresh, but it sure didn't taste like freshly cooked corn, so I would guess it's canned corn. If freshly grilled corn is used, that might add an interesting, flavorful twist. Gongora: Described online as "GONGURA SAUCE, CHICKEN, RED ONION, JALAPENOS AND FRESH CILANTRO", we looked up gongura and learned it is an edible leaf. Maybe we've had gongura before and didn't know it. After the haryali slice, this was bursting in flavor. My initial thought was that I prefer this one. However, by the time I finished, I decided it was a little too salty for me. The jalapeño added flavor, but I feel like it was distracting me from the other flavors. In the end, I think I prefer the saltier gongura topping, because the haryali ended up tasting sweet to me and I don't like very sweet flavors on my pizza unless it's pineapple. I am only giving 4 stars because the pizza crust on the bottom was too flimsy. I like a firm crust that doesn't require rolling - maybe the owners are from the East Coast? The crust is advertised as being made fresh, but I think most pizza places make fresh dough. It may be a healthier crust compared to the oilier BPH and CPH crusts. Here, the toppings are more sparse, especially compared to BPH. I love how the fresh herb flavors come to me at BPH versus here, I had to go looking for it. We also ordered mango lassi and it tasted like the one at BPH. Both are much sweeter than lassi at CPH - and the color is so dark. Either they must get very lucky with finding the ripest mangoes or they use a type of yogurt to provide flavor consistency. I would return to try out other toppings, even from their fusion menu. read more

If you love cheese pulls, you'll love their pizza. They are very generous with their cheese. I can't say about the chicken though. Overall, the taste was pretty good. The tandoori chicken was a bit spicy, but I personally did add a bit more spicy pepper on top since I love spicy food. Price-wise, I personally don't really think it's worth. It's a bit pricier than other Indian style pizza even though portion is smaller. However, I will say their dough (crust) and cheese is pretty good when fresh. read more

I had to sleep on this review. Yelp pointed at great reviews. Usually a slam dunk. I ordered with yelp app through Grubhub. For some reason Grubhub cancelled the order and I missed the notice. My fault. I got there and they did not have the order. No problem I ordered with a 25 percent discount. I was a winner. Ordered half butter chicken and half Gongura Chicken. Food was delivered on time. People were nice. Even bought a mango lassi. Got home and the pizza crust was soggy, sauce was super salty, and the ingredients were completely dry and chewy. Felt like it was 2 day old pizza. Maybe that was the style. I threw the whole pizza out as we would not eat it. We have never thrown food out like that. Didn't say anything or complain because I didn't want to risk them spitting or messing with my food. There were five other people also waiting egregiously long times for their orders.
