The food here is definitely on point! I love that you order through a tablet -- super easy -- and the sauces are already conveniently set at each table, so you don't have to get up. My only complaint is the service. The servers weren't very attentive when it came to refilling sauces or my water. Even getting extra napkins or the check took more effort than it should have. That said, the flavors and quality of the food make it worth coming back. If they could step up the attentiveness a bit, this would easily be a 5-star spot for me.

Seated for a party of 8 pretty quickly. Servers were strained but managed to do well with several large parties at the same time. Kid enjoyed sharing the beef pot and the sizzling beef rice and lamb pot were also good. $4.25 for a side of udon or cabbage but I suppose prices are just astounding now. Water and soup refills were plentiful. The bathroom needed attention though and isn't cleaned too often or at least, it wasn't when we were there. Only one stall was usable as the other one was just too dirty.

It's been a while since I've been to tasty pot as there's not one near my city. The wait was 5 mins and we were seated right away and they gave us a iPad to order. The servers are very attentive here. The food comes out within 10 mins. We ordered the miso Japanese pot and the beef hot pot. The spicy popcorn is so fresh and hot! Can't wait to come back again!

Have not been here for about 1 to 2 months. Still tasted as good as before. I especially like that in a hot pot place, there is a choice of sizzling plate and it is pretty good! The servers were very friendly and efficient. I spilled water all over the floor and the lady was very patient and quick to come to wipe the table and floor: special star for this! Parking was easy, right outside in the outdoor parking lot. Ambiance was casual, cozy and nice. Will come again if craving for beef pot or cheesy milk pot.

Still coming here after all these years and happy to report the food remains solid. The broth is flavorful, ingredients are fresh, and everything comes out fast--just like I remembered. I usually go for the same Taiwanese Supreme Spicy hot pot, but the Herbal hot pot is a strong second. They haven't skimped on quality, and it's still a great deal with the lunch special that includes a drink. That comforting feeling of having your own little bubbling pot of goodness hasn't gone anywhere. Service has stayed consistently friendly and efficient. Staff check in regularly without hovering, and they're quick to top off your broth or bring out anything you need. It's clear this place still knows what it's doing. Still a fan, and still racking up those points!

Went to Tasty Pot with my partner for some tasty food. We have been a couple times before and it has been great every time. The restaurant is in the olferts center in Dublin with many other Asian businesses and ample parking. We came around dinner time on a weekday and there were a few people dining in with many open tables. We each got the beef rice hot plate and udon hot plate. They came out steaming where you have to mix them around to get the meat fully cooked. We ate all of our food, both were really good. We also got the spicy popcorn chicken. Very tasteful For drinks we got the black tea and Hokkaido milk tea with boba. Very refreshing We will definitely be back and recommend this place for anyone craving beef hot plates and boba!

Our first time at this location and we decided to go for lunch on a Thursday. Not too crowded. The inside was clean and the music was not too loud. At this location they let you order through an ipad, which is nice if you don't want to talk to the staff. We ordered the Beef flavored hot pot medium spicy and very spicy and popcorn chicken. Our food came out hot which I love. It was our first time getting the popcorn chicken and it was pretty solid. I also loved that in the hotpot there were huge slices of taro. At other locations it's usually just a small piece of taro. The staff were very nice and would serve us water and refills on the soup. I would come back to this location! :)

Tasty pot specializes in personalized hot pots at around $20 per pot. We came on a weekday at 5pm and were the first customers to be seated. We were given a iPad to order. My husband and I got the herbal pot as well as the beef sizzling udon. The sauce for the sizzling beef was very flavorful and my husband really enjoyed the dish. We also shared the herbal pot. While it was a personal hot pot, it really was quite a lot of food for one person and was great to share. The service was minimal, but the food came out super quickly. We enjoyed our hot meal and soup in a cold winter day!

The food here is absolutely phenomenal. We tried two different soups--the Sichuan Flavor Hot Soup and the beef soup--and both were packed with flavor. I especially liked that they give you the noodles on the side instead of throwing them into the pot. It's a nice touch if you like your noodles al dente or want to pace yourself. Definitely a great alternative if you're not looking to do all-you-can-eat hot pot. Unfortunately, the service really drags down the experience. The first time we came, I asked a simple question about the spice level on the Sichuan soup (since the menu lists spice levels for every other soup but that one). I just wanted something in between mild and very spicy, but when I asked, the staff member I spoke with acted like it was the most ridiculous question he'd ever heard. His tone was dismissive, bordering on rude. I didn't think much of it until we came back again--and it was the same guy, with the same attitude. If it weren't for the food, I honestly wouldn't return. The soups are delicious and well worth trying, but the customer service has been consistently poor. Hopefully management takes note, because this place could easily be 5 stars if the staff matched the quality of the food.

Rainy days = hot pot time. This wouldn't be my go-to place, but since I was in the area and feeling something warm, I opted for this. Their quality is definitely pretty average compared to other similar franchises across the Bay Area. Their broth is also pretty bland. Also gave their drinks a try, but pretty standard and typical. I did like their popcorn chicken, but the portion size was small for the price. You can put yourself on the waitlist online through Yelp, which I appreciate as it tends to get busy near dinner time. The staff were nice and gave us the menu to look at while waiting. read more

Had dinner here the other night with a girl friend. I had the seafood/ lobster hot pot, which was very tasty, with a side of vermicelli. This was our first time there so we kind of looked around and watched to see how people were eating. They have these little bowls they put in front of you with dipping sauces on the side. We asked our server how we should prep our area for when the hot pot arrives. They were very friendly and let us know how to mix of dips according to the flavors that we may like. Had a great time, and great food. read more

We've been eating at Tasty Pot for years and it's still our go-to when we're craving hotpot. I've tried a bunch of places in California but nothing really comes close. This is my favorite hotpot spot, PERIODT! My go-to order is the beef hot soup. The flavor is so rich and comforting and it always hits the spot. The broth has that perfect kick and everything tastes fresh every time. The place has cozy vibes, the service is quick, and the food is consistently good. I think this is one of my better tastypot experiences and the service was better than most so 5 stars for this visit! Service (5/5) - the guy who was taking our payment asked us if we wanted to take food togo and gave us a bag and lids for the sauces, soybean paste and their house soy sauce is the bomb together Food: Beef hot pot (5/5) - plenty of meat and the medium spicy was just the right amount! Lamb hotpot (5/5) - also lots of meat here and my personal fave! If you like spicy and lamb I would def recommend and get this one and mild! Ambience (5/5) - It was nice and calm but it may have been because we were seated near the front windows. It was rainy that day and the hotpot and overall experience made it a 5/5 experience! read more

One of my favorite local hot pot spots! The serving size is great for the price, and they even throw in a complimentary green tea (iced or hot) that is strong/flavorful and delicious. Came to this place quite a few times. It's pretty good and tasty. Many different varieties, and each one has a lot of veggies and meat. We usually put out the fire almost right away, so the pot won't get too hot for too long. And enjoy my food slowly. Sometimes it gets busy and parking could be hard to find. Overall it's good and something different. read more

We love tasty pot especially on a cold day or when you are just craving for some yummy hot soup! Their Popcorn chicken is delicious and they have many different hot pot varieties to choose from in their menu. Been coming here for years and lunch special is great with free iced green tea. My go to hotpot is beef, thai and miso. Service is prompt and there is plenty of parking space at the parking lot. Highly recommend!!!! read more

We came here with a group of 13 for lunch on a Monday. We didn't have reservations, but we were seated with no problem. Everyone has their own individual hot pot, which I really like. There's a flame under the bowl to keep your food hot (and I mean bubbling hot), but you can adjust the flame yourself. You order from an iPad, and there's lots of customizations with each order, such as spice level, rice or vermicelli, etc. What I ordered: + Beef Hot soup - ok, I went for the basic one because I wasn't familiar with some of the other options on their menu. This was very good, with thinly sliced beef, lots of napa cabbage, corn on the cob, and other goodies. I got the vermicelli, which they give you uncooked on the side, and you put it into your bowl and it cooks in a matter of minutes. Overall very tasty and there's a lot of food. I brought half of it home and it was good the next day too. read more

Went here for dinner. Been here quite a few times now and it's always busy. But we were able to be seated in a few minutes. So, we gave our server our order. I ordered the beef mild spicy and my spouse ordered the seafood soup. A little under $50 for both soups. Not including tip. My soup was filled with ingredients and the spices are always perfect. My spouse wasn't really liking her soup. It was still good but not to her expectation. Our server was very attentive and always checked on us. I enjoy the fact that they refill unlimited broth. The place is clean and the interior is nice. This is my go to place for when in the mood for soup. read more

I love going to tasty pot for hot pot! They have great selection and many different options. I like this place because it cheaper than going to a AYCE hot pot place and has all the ingredients that I would normally get. I ordered the Beef Hot Soup (mild) and will always be my go to dish here! Their service was very good. We came an hour before closing and the place was about half full. Tasty pot can can get a bit expensive but is around the 20 range for a dish. Parking is also super easy since it located in a plaza. read more

I love Tasty Pot, especially this location! The employees here are always diligent about getting you a table as soon as they possibly can. I've been here maybe 3 or 4 times and there's one guy, in particular, that's always here (I don't know his name) who always greets you and is super friendly. The hot pots are so yummy, and I prefer having my own individual one. The Kimchi Dumpling pot is my go-to! You get some meat, seafood, veggies, and dumplings. Always so good, especially once it starts getting chilly out! read more

In the rainy season, eating hot pot is among my most comfort choices. Lamb hot pot is super warm and cozy, and the salt and pepper chicken sprinkled with chili powder stimulates the appetite as always yummy. I also discovered they've introduced new dishes, black pepper teppanyaki rice and teriyaki teppanyaki rice. The hot teppanyaki sizzles and bubbles by thoroughly mixing the garlic butter with the rice and the ingredients, making it truly tasty and delicious. For those who like to add a little spicy to their food, the black pepper flavor is strong and worth a try; the teriyaki flavor is especially suitable for kids who like teppanyaki style, very creamy and satisfying. Also, the portion size is large for one person but good to share with friends. Great value for money you paid those days. So nice to have more varieties when dine out with family members who dosen't want noodles in their hot pot. Would love to come back and try more new dishes!!! read more

A great restaurant with hefty portions! I've been coming for many years and I always leave feeling full and satisfied. My favorite soups are the beef hot soup and curry pot. I also tried the lobster pot in the original soup base but wasn't a huge fan because the broth was not flavorful. I tried the popcorn chicken today too and it was so good! Honestly some of the best texture and flavor I've had in a popcorn chicken. read more

I was already standing for almost 1/2 hr moving from waitlist 9 to waitlist 3, the waiter did not call our name. Please note that they might not call you even if you checked in online & is on the queue. Let them know you are here when you arrived if you checked in on Yelp app. I was a bit upset but the waitress quickly corrected and gave us the next table. I ordered #2 lamb soup. it was disappointed. less meat, more veggie. my tofu was frozen. I flagged the waiter, told him my tofu is frozen and there were no flame under my pot. He couldn't understand english. I repeated 3 time and I pointed the tofu is frozen. He took my pot. From that moment, I knew something was not right, he bring back my food with fire under my pot, hot broth but all my tofu was gone. I also ordered the rice that came with my order. Same waiter again, asked for the rice never got it. My friend ordered #1 Beef soup, her broth was low, less than half broth. We asked for more broth flagged 3 waiters, all never came back with broth. but saw waiter pour broth on other table. seriously? wtf We weren't halfway finish eating, waiter gave us check but it wasn't our check. I told the waiter is not our check, again couldn't understand english. repeated multiple times, then he said "what?its your check" and it still wasn't our fucking check. The manager came and knew it wasn't our check, it was belong to other table. I will not come here again. I am not satisfied with my food and the servers. I don't recommend this place. read more

I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant, primarily due to both poor customer service and lack of transparency about their food. Before visiting, we called to ask a simple question about whether any of the broths were pork-free. It took an unusually long time for anyone to answer the phone, and when someone finally did, they seemed unsure and unable to provide a clear answer. This should be basic information that staff can easily communicate. When we arrived, we discovered that all of the broths contained pork, despite our efforts to confirm otherwise in advance. This was extremely frustrating and made it impossible for members of our group to eat there. In addition, the restaurant itself was not clean. The tables, floors, and overall environment did not feel well maintained, which made the experience even more uncomfortable. Overall, the combination of rude and unhelpful service, lack of accurate information, and poor cleanliness made this a very disappointing visit. I hope management takes steps to improve staff training, communication, and cleanliness. read more

Yikes... it's funny how they were able to hide or remove my review entirely just because I said something pretty disgusting... Anyways just to reiterate... I use to come here quite often on my lunch breaks with my boyfriend. One time we decided to park behind their back entrance before walking up for my to-go order and I saw a bunch of the workers hanging around behind the kitchen without masks... they were taking a smoke break and you can't smoke without a mask I get it. The craziest thing was after he finished his cigarette, he went right back into the kitchen and started preparing pre-made pots without washing his hands or wearing a mask! It wasn't even on his chin he just wasn't wearing one... I mean come on it's their job to keep the customers safe... Tasty Pot is such a great spot for hot pot! The hot pot here is absolutely delicious, and I love that they bring everything out to you already prepared. The portions are huge--one bowl can easily serve at least two people, or even more depending on how much you eat. Another thing I really appreciate is the service. The servers come around to top off your soup, which is such a nice touch and makes the whole experience even better. My favorite flavors are the Thai and the Spicy Sichuan Hot Soup--both are incredibly flavorful and so satisfying. If you're craving hot pot, this place is definitely worth checking out. I use to come here quite often during my lunch break... but recently its really been tumbling downhill. I got really bad stomach pains from eating here. I saw a few workers inside either not wearing masks and/or wearing it incorrectly... pretty big safety concern for me. Last time I parked around their back entrance and you'll always see workers coming in and out without masks, smoking a cigarette, on their phones, and then walking back inside to prep without washing their hands or wearing gloves. I will NOT be returning. read more
