Oh my god!!! BEST PLACE TO COME FOR A HOT MEAL! I happen to look up thai food and this place popped up, amazing reviews & tasty pictures! It's for sure a hidden gem, next to a Fry's grocery store. We immediately got sat and service was phenomenal, quick at getting our drinks and had no problem telling us their recommendations! We went with the seafood hot soup, it has all the seven seas in there.... Including my all time favorite; Lobster and octopus. One thing I found amusing was they were serving more "water" all around the tables and when they came to us.... He said it's actually HOT BROTH!! Like what!!! That is so awesome. You definitely feel the good service here. I personally love steaming hot food and for those who don't, you have the option of turning off the flame off or lower it. You also have the option of picking your spice level on the soup! I was too full by the time I wanted to try the cool drinks they serve but that only means.... A few days ago, we went here, sat down, asked our server a few question, talked amongst the 6 of us, and agreed they there was nothing worth staying for and got up and left. 3 of us in our group were familiar with this style of food, but the bowls they had most of the same thing in them, and they dont allow customized bowls. They are very unflexable in making bowls to ones liking.. 2 of the wait staff told us they were out of a lot of items, especially for their drinks, because new owners were changing things. I gave an additional star because the wait staff was friendly, honest, and quick. although we were there for less than 10 minutes, i still left a tip because of their understanding and good attitude towards us, leaving... Food was pretty good and the serving size was generous. However, our party of 7 were unimpressed with the method in place for ordering - via a QR code. We had to flag down one of the 5 servers standing around to ensure we could combine our orders into one bill. It also was not a hospitable experience for those in our party who had never before encountered hot pot. We were simply told to view the menu and order via the QR code and then left alone. No one offered guidance or stayed to answer questions (such as how to adjust the heat in the bowls so we weren't dealing with boiling liquid the entire duration of the meal). Nobody asked about drinks. Again, not an intuitive process, nor conducive to larger parties. For bowls ranging from $18-$23, excluding any additional toppings, I'd expect better quality in process and service. Definitely was not worthy of their suggested minimum tip of 20% of the bill. read more

We attended for lunch and the place was packed which is normally a good thing but everything took forever to get. I hated waiting so long with my kiddos. When we finally got the hot pots the food was mediocre at best. It was hot but it did not taste very fresh at all. I would rather pick and choose what goes into what I am eating with hot pots. read more

This place is great! We ended up going on a hot day, but I think they purposely have the AC low and just the right temperature to eat hot pot. I got extra beef, like I usually do when I go to a hot pot place, but I honestly didn't need it this time. There was so much food in the soup. This place will also have servers come by to refill your soup broth. I also recommend getting ramen if you want more noodles to your soup. They soak up the broth really well. Individualized Hot Pots are still great for sharing! We got the vegetarian, which is not on the menu. We had three broth options and I opted for the "Thai" which was along the lines of Tom Yum/Lemongrass. There was a variety of veggies and noodles, but wish they could've included a little more tofu and veggie protein options. The broth was good, but it did run out quick since the pot had so much to cook. They were quick to add a plain broth, which did not have too much flavor to it. I still stand by that hot pot is best done at home, especially for vegans, but definitely great for those that have never had hot pot (or if you're feeling lazy). I'm a huge fan of the Tasty pot in Mesa and go there on a weekly basis. We were excited to try the Glendale location while visiting the west side. This location is a lot nicer than Mesa in terms of decor and space. Lots of seating with no wait time on a Saturday. I ordered the usual beef hot pot that I love so dearly. To my surprise the portion size seems much smaller here. Taste is just as good. I also ordered a side of fish balls and there was only 5 for $4 which is pretty expensive. The rice was also very small and not filled to the top. It was hard and dry. As for service, our waiter was a little inexperienced. He didn't know the answers to any of my questions and did not check in regularly. Overall the food is still delicious but I prefer the Mesa location over this one. read more

Wasn't a normal soup I'd get. But, I went a friend who is Vietnamese, and she showed me the ropes on what to order and how to order it. What amazing is they go around and continue to pour hot broth into the soup so it doesn't get cold. Reasonable price great service and yes I'd go back there again.. Happened to be in this area and was looking for a new place to eat and came across this little hidden gem! I almost did not go inside because it didn't look very inviting. Service was excellent as well, attentive but non obtrusive. The noodles are excellent and get cooked so that some are crunchy and some are soft, which is the best part of eating broth style meals. The seasonings were really nice and you can control the spice which is great for ghost chili eating fans. The meats are cut nice and thin so you can enjoy. I wasn't able to try everything but from the smell I could tell the flavors are there. Ask for extra extra dumplings. Now that the weather is cooling down this is a great spot to enjoy a warm meal. Not to crowded. I do agree with a fellow yelper about the service dropping off at the end but it was nice to be left alone. I recommend it for sure. read more

There is one in Cincinnati, so was curious to try the one in Phoenix (or Glendale, AZ). This chain is managed pretty well - you can put in your phone number when you enter so that you can get a text when your table is ready. Their broth is clean (sometimes I get a stomachache from the Cincinnati one when the broth is not hot enough) and there were no issues with the fire in the pot. I order the same I as I did in Cincinnati, which is #1 - the Beef Hot Pot - I ate the entire think. I also ordered a passion fruit drink, but same with Cincinnati, Tasty Pot's drinks are not that great. read more

First timers last night. So glad To have found this place so close to home! This place was delicious. We will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend the kimchi dumpling hot pot, and the beef hot pot. We got the instant noodles which are our favorites and extra dumplings. Super tasty. Tastes pretty good but website says they have liquor but they don't and unless you get it spicy which some don't like it's VERY bland, if you like spicy though be careful, I ordered medium spicy and almost couldn't eat it it was so hot, made my eyes water and forehead sweat on the 1st bite but if it is too spicy take out as many of those Chinese dried chili's out of it as possible (the problem is unlike most chinese restuarants that leave them whole they chop them up in small pieces so its harder to get them out but i managed )and ask for more broth which is free to mellow it out, I can't even imagine how hot the 2 levels over medium must be.
