This place was in a strip mall next to a Fry's grocery store. There's no parking issue due to the location. Apparently right now they are giving out a free iced tea with a purchase of a bowl on Saturdays. Yassss. Let's start off with the iced tea. It was not too sweet and had a very nice green tea flavor, less grassy than matcha but still a little earthy. Super refreshing. I had the #1, beef bowl with vermicelli, mild spice. Oh my goodness. It was so tasty. The flavors of everything worked so well together. There were even small slices of taro, and a small corn on the cob. If you're not very adventurous, this might be the route for you. I wasn't sure what to expect but wow. It was delicious. They have someone come around and check with you to see if you want more broth. This was packed with vermicelli, veggies, seafood (some imitation) and beef. I was really impressed with all the flavors. 10/10 I'd eat this again. Kiddo didn't want a bowl. She missed out imo. However, she had egg rolls and dumplings and loved those. My mom had the #2 lamb hot soup with vermicelli and no spice. She loved it. She already can't wait to go back. She had an extra sweet mango tea and loved it so much she ordered an additional drink. I also ordered a Thai iced tea, regular sweetness. Yummmm! So so good. It was exactly how you want a Thai iced tea to taste. Decor was cute, I didn't use the restroom there so I don't know how that was, but the place looked clean, always a good sign. My husband, toddler, and I had such a fun experience here since we've never had hot pot before! We were kindly welcomed right when we walked through the door, and allowed to choose our seat. I appreciated this because it's easier to wrangle my toddler in a booth. Our waiter promptly described the menu and gave us the perfect amount of wait time before asking for our orders. I tried the veggie hot soup with Thai milk tea (25% sweet) and both were delicious! The mix of vegetables was flavorful and filling. My husband enjoyed his lamb hot soup with a passion fruit tea (also 25% sweet). He said both were amazing. The waitress came around several times asking if we would like more broth added to our soup, which was very nice. My daughter and I wanted to grab some hot pot for lunch today while out on the town @tastypot.usa Tasty Pot and Tea is located in Glendale, AZ on Bell Road. There's lots of seating inside and many orders to-go went out as we ate. Order by QR code or in-person. I ended up ordering in-person because I had to request no egg or rice and it was easily done. So many items on the menu look tasty. I love that they offer free hot black or green tea with your order and bring water to your table. Since this was our first visit, we decided to try some milk tea instead of hot tea. Our hot pots were brought to our table bubbling along with our noodle option in a side bowl. We could adjust the flame on our individual hot pot to our desired heat. It's so great that the servers walk around with broth and ask if you'd like a broth refill. It's like a dream come true for me. Also, the server let me know that the broth was made using chicken bones so this is authentic chicken bone broth. We couldn't finish all of our soup so we asked for to-go containers and we even got our to-go soup topped off with more broth. As I hear in Arizona, often, we are supposed to drink and eat hot food during the summer because it helps our body regulate its temperature better. Another great Elite opportunity, thanks to Bailey for finding another place for all of us Elites to visit and enjoy. Went with my +1 for lunch. Did not know what to expect even though I did go to the restuarant site and review the menu. Hot Pot is a different kind of cuisine especially in Hot Spot Arizona. The venue itself is nicely laid out, plenty of room to sit, eat and converse with your eating companions. Once seated, we both had numerous question about the menu and the items that made up many of the options on the menu. Although the server had probably answered these questions hundreds of times, he gave us the information we needed to place our orders. We both settled on the Kim Chee special, mine without any seafood. The bowls arrived in a matter of minutes, each bubbling hot. We added our side of vermecelli and began stirring and looking through the boiling pots, trying to identify each of the ingredients. Only a few were deemed.....I am not sure status. We also had Green Tea, which was very tasty. Once the pot cooled, we dug in, securing and munching on each morsel. A bit more sauce was added as it needed more spice. It was a fun meal, with each bite being a different texture and flavor. Having used clop sticks to eat with for over 50 years, I did find some of the items a bit challenging due to the "soup" catagory of the meal. But, even that was fun. Tasty Pot is a unique dining venue. It is one that may not be for everyone, but it is one that should be tried by all becuase of the uniqueness of the style and the food. A server had just checked on us then moments later a guy carrying a soup carafe came to ask if we wanted more soup. Don't ever change. Feel free to change other aspects though like adding more than a few slices of pork. For the price, the ratio of meat slices to filler items is wanting. I could use less pork intestine and pork blood rice cakes and more actual pork. If you've never tried Taiwanese-style hotpot, then come here to taste for yourself its rich, pungent flavors. The umami explosion will change your world. If this is your hundredth rodeo, then you're in for some disappointment. Had a very frustrating and unsafe experience. I had to practically yell just to get a server's attention. I clearly asked if the lamb chop contained peanuts due to a severe allergy and was told peanuts were only present if the dish's spicy level was switched from medium to high. That information was wrong, and I suffered a serious allergic reaction. Even after that, getting help or a food exchange required calling out again, and the server had an attitude when I asked about allergens. The service overall was extremely minimal--servers only dropped off food without even greeting us. I was left confused about what level of service I was expected to tip for, as there was essentially no customer service beyond food being dropped off. I had the beef soup, which was very tender and rich. My girl had the lamb. She said it was good, but could've done without some of the cabbage. It was a little overloaded. The service itself was a 10/10. The came around asking to add broth to your dish. So for the broth lovers, we can appreciate extra broth. Also they were very attentive and polite. Average hot pot spot. I ordered the kimchi dumpling hot pot because I'm allergic to nuts and they apparently have peanuts in their beef, lamb, and a few others. The kimchi must have sloughed off all of its flavor because it just looked like cabbage. The pot was light on the meat and so I ended up eating leftovers from my kids and wife. I ordered mild and there wasn't any heat on it, so don't be afraid. My wife ordered the winter melon drink and it was good. Service was excellent. They checked on us quite a bit and our pots were refilled several times. Edit: I have tried to resolve this outside of reviews for the past several months but was unsuccessful. Tasty Pot did not disclose an 18% service fee on our party. As such, when I hurriedly stole the bill so the older folks in my party would not feel obligated to pay for our family, I tipped 20% above that when I paid the bill, resulting in a 44% tip ($60.12 tip on a $138.60 meal). This was clearly a mistake. Tasty Pot refused to reverse the charge, in part because I had left the above review stating that their food was average and that they overcharged us. I removed the part about them overcharging us but I've now added it back in because of their continued refusal to reverse the charge. Out of principle, I think this is super wrong and I would not recommend this place. It is unethical. read more

I've been wanting to check out this spot for a while. I made a point to make it there on a cold windy night to warm me up and dragged friends along with me. The place was busy at 6:30pm on a Friday night with a 15 minute wait that turned into 25-30. After that the service was on point. This was the first night they started selling alcohol and after a week of work we were happy for that. The girls got Whiteclaw and the guys beer. Firestone Walker 805 and Modelo. I don't remember seeing a cocktail list but I could be wrong. The menu is a lot to take in as there are so many different soups and options as well as sides. Everyone enjoyed their soups which the large portion can feed 2 people so keep that in mind. A friend of ours opted to make her own soup and they were able to accommodate my wife's celiac disease. I had the miso pot medium heat which was good but had a slow burn that turned out to be to hot for me by mid pot. My fault next time I will ask for mild. They add in plenty of meats, vegetables etc to fill anyone. Mine said that it came with real crab in it, which it did but it was a tiny crab that probably added more to the broth than anything. My buddy's pot #12 had actual crab legs in it along with nice sized prawns. The interior is hip and pretty modern. Definitely worth checking out if you love hot pots, pho or to try something new. They have a location in Mesa as well, but thank you for opening a location on the west side closer to me! I went to Day 2 of their soft opening. They have a 15% discount off your meal from August 24th-31st. For those of you who don't know what hot pot is, it's a boiled pot full of various vegetables and meats that mix wonderfully together in a broth of your choosing. First, you choose the flavor of pot you want from Number 1-12. Then you choose a spice level from mild to flaming spicy. Finally, you choose if you want vermicelli noodles or rice with your hotpot. The cost of your hotpot is dependent on the number you choose. I chose the Sichuan Flavor Hot Soup, medium spicy, with vermicelli noodles. The Sichuan flavor was very nice and fragrant. My favorite ingredients in the pot were the enoki mushroom, beef slices, imitation crab, potato slices, and vermicelli. I thought with the pot I ordered I would have leftovers, but I cleaned it out good! Overall, I thought the customer service was good- very friendly staff! Our server checked on us consistently on if we needed more water for our pot so it wouldn't run dry. The restaurant is much more spacious compared to the Mesa location and has a nice clean modern feel. Tons of seating options at a regular table, booth seating, single bar seating, or high tops. We tried Tasty Pot tonight and we are so glad we did. This place is a hidden gem with amazing service and food. The ordering process was easy and they walked us through the menu and how to order. My husband opted for the Curry Pot and I went with the Stinky Tofu Pot. We also each tried a different tea, he got the Thai Milk Tea and I went with normal Milk Tea. I loved that they had you choose your level of sweetness from 25, 50, 75 or 100. We went with 25 and it was perfect. The pots were both amazing and packed full of flavor and ingredients. Each bite was a unique and tasty experience. The servers came around to offer more broth if you wanted and we took them up on it. We had so much in the "smaller" pots that we both went home with leftovers. We did learn after eating almost everything that the hot pots actually have a lever to one side that will let you control the temperature. (We wish we had seen it earlier, but we now know for next time. I will include a photo of the lever for any of you reading this.) The inside of the restaurant was very chic and clean and gives off an amazing vibe. The staff was very attentive and friendly to everyone in the restaurant. This place would be perfect for a family or as a date night. I would definitely recommend Tasty Pot and will probably be back soon with the whole family. read more

I have tried tasty pot from several different locations; one in Oregon and two locations in Arizona. Everytime I come to dine in, it's always a great experience none the less. Our favorite is the Thai flavor brother, we always order extra rice for my little one and extra side of octopus and the imitation crab - this is a family favorite so everyone gets to enjoy! When Tasty Pot first opened in the west valley, I was so excited because I would not have to drive out to Mesa to get my hotpot fix. The food was great years ago and service was spectacular. When ownership changed, I was skeptical about how the food would taste. I read other Yelp reviews that the quality went downhill. My family and I went a few times and I did notice that, although their prices came down the normal prices at the Mesa location, the quality of the food was not up to far. Most recently, we went on a Friday night and I ordered my normal Taiwanese hotpot medium spicy. The one ingredient missing from this, among their other pots, is satay sauce. It used to bring out the taste in the hotpot, but they don't use it anymore. The soup is now just bland. Also, this time around, the food did not go well with my stomach. I can definitely taste the difference in quality of the food. It's sad that this location couldn't maintain the same level of quality as it did with the previous owners. It is unlikely I will be coming to this location anything soon and will be going back to the Mesa location to get my hotpot fix. read more

Last time we went, we asked about our points. Because you supposed to get 1 point per person/order and for some reason they said they couldn't use our points because It's not under our phone number but It's showing that we do have 9 points available plus another 2 points from the food that we ordered under their app! It's impossible that It's under a different number because we haven't changed our phone number for years! The fact that we ONLY have accumulated 9 to 11 points is weird because we've eaten there ALOT and we showed them a proof that we've been there. We've supposed to have at least 20 or maybe more. So yeah, all that time and money we spent there for our points is gone. We still came back after we saw a cockroach on the floor because we love this place.
