What a cute chocolate shop! I was drawn to the shop because of the Dubai bars. My favorite was the milk chocolate! Not to mention the strawberry Dubai chocolate cup! Amazing! They had a variety of chocolates and really cute coffee or tea sets. The employees were kind and friendly. If you want to treat yourself to a nice sweet dessert, stop by!
Upon walking in, it reminded me of a museum, clean and quiet, with baskets of chocolates on one side, tea sets on the far wall, and packaged gift boxes in display cases near the register on the right. TAWDI is tailored for chocolate lovers, and the variety is fun. The lady who greeted me there also patiently described the different chocolates and even offered me samples! I appreciated the friendly service. I love dark chocolate, so I bought a bunch of the individually wrapped ones to try out with my fam. They're mostly in the silver wrappers. My faves included the Dubai bar (comes in small squares, medium-sized bars, and large bars), plain dark chocolate square, chocolate-covered peanut brittle stick, chocolate-covered macadamias, and a pistachio marzipan bonbon-type treat. Truly a lovely feast for the tastebuds, without being too sweet. I do agree with other Yelpers about price; many of TAWDI's chocolates, especially the Dubai ones, are very expensive. Some of the chocolates weren't labeled or didn't have descriptions, so I had to keep asking the lady for clarification. TAWDI is located smack dab in the middle of the Times Square strip mall. Parking in the plaza lot is free, but the area is a little janky, so be aware of your surroundings.
I was excited to try the Chocolate covered Dubai strawberries but it was not very flavorful. I truly think it was the strawberries. They were lacking flavor. I was underwhelmed with the cup. And for the price I paid, I was kinda bummed. Even my child (who loves chocolate covered Dubai strawberries) did not want any after the first bite. We got the dark chocolate bar which I found to be simple. Not sure, maybe I'll give it another try another time. I also tried the pistachio nougat but the flavor was not good on that either. I wanted to like it, even love it but alas that was not the end product of my visit. The prices seemed a bit high for the small individual pieces of sweets that they are selling.
This place is a true gem! It's sort of hidden by these big columns. But their sign for strawberry Dubai chocolate cups caught my eye! I walked in and I was surprised. An actual; real Chocolatier in the middle of West Anaheim! The place was so elegant. And the gentleman behind the counter was so kind and happy, it was contagious! It was all going so well, but then I got my order and I fell I love! This is by far the best strawberry Dubai chocolate cup ever!!
Found this place on Yelp while I was looking for Dubai chocolate! I called before my visit to check if they still had some in stock, and they were going to close in an hour. Luckily, a nice lady answered the phone and assured me that they still had lots in stock. Good to know they answer phone calls! The store is located next to Magnolia HS. There's lot of parking. The store itself is very clean, and I saw lots of other chocolate options neatly arranged on shelves. The lady who answered my phone call kindly walked me through their offerings. I told her it was my first time there, and she let me have a sample of the caramel chocolate (which was SO GOOD). I selected my chocolates: 1 medium ($15) and 1 small Dubai milk chocolate bar ($5), and 2 medium Dubai dark chocolate bars ($15 each). I would have eaten all my chocolate in one sitting if I didn't have self control. These were so delicious and some of the best chocolates I've ever had. They are pricey, but the quality, taste, and care for each chocolate is warranted. I can't wait to go back for more!
Tawdi in Anaheim came through at exactly the right moment when my niece and nephew were on a very serious mission for Dubai chocolate. Luckily for me, Tawdi was the closest option, and it ended up being a great stop for everyone. The person who helped us was incredibly kind and patient, which always makes an experience better, especially with kids involved. We ended up trying a cup of strawberries topped with Dubai chocolate, and it was excellent, rich, sweet, and surprisingly addictive. Everyone walked away happy, which feels like the ultimate win, and I would absolutely stop by again the next time a chocolate craving strikes.
Small mom/pop type confectionary located in a strip mall in the Little Arabia area of Anaheim. Up until my visit, I haven't had Dubai chocolate yet and really wanted to find a spot that would have a good representation of the treat and found this spot...and it looked perfect...and it was! I came in on the later side and they were about to close for the evening so it wasn't very busy and only one person in the shop, who was the most helpful, sweetest person ever. She walked me through the different sizes and options available. They make the bars in house with high quality ingredients and high quality chocolate. I bought a couple of bars - one dark and one milk chocolate. The bars were oh so tasty and made such a perfect treat while watching a movie the next day! They also gave me a small chocolate with my purchase, which was another fun, delicious treat. Such a gem of a spot.
Wow. Wow. WOW. I've been wanting to check this place out for awhile and finally had the chance to stop by and I have to say "why didn't I come here earlier??" Each sweet is made with such care and attention, with the highest quality ingredients. I felt transported into someone's home and history - you absolutely can feel the love and care taken in making each delectable treat. Perfectly sweet and balanced, amazingly crafted and elegant. Each bite is heaven! I picked up a Turkish delight and a few of the Dubai chocolates and several did not even make it the car ride home! The owners are also so lovely, they asked me if it was my first time there and even gave me a free sample of one of their other chocolates (truly divine) - they were also so warm and inviting. The inside of the store is immaculate- super clean and easy to make your selection! Parking is ample in the front, it's in a mini mall with several other stores. I absolutely can't wait to go back!
Small chocolate store in Anaheim, which also sells Labubus! All of their chocolate is made in house and you can really taste the quality. Got to try their famous Dubai chocolate (They have dark, milk, and white chocolate). I highly recommend milk chocolate (Dark chocolate is very rich and takes away from the pistachio flavor) We also tried their other treats like the cardamon treats and it was super flavorful and the spice and sweetness hits right (Highly recommend) Definitely stop by to pick up some sweets!

It was my first time at Tawdi and I'll definitely be back! I tried the Dubai chocolate cup and it was absolutely delicious--my family loved it too. You can really tell it was made with care. The gentleman working was very attentive and welcoming, which made the experience even better. They also had a variety of Dubai chocolate options, from small to large chocolate bars, so there's something for everyone. I'll definitely be returning to try more! read more

Very nice little gem to find that had the famous Dubai chocolate to try. Walked in and was met by a nice lady showing me right to the wall of chocolate to choose. They had the small, medium and larger bars all available in the three types of chocolate, Milk / Dark and White. Bought one of each, I think they were $5 a piece and all were really nice to try. Crunchy in the middle with a pistachio like cream filling. Really great to try but I found that the nothing with the chocolate was very flavorful. My sweet tooth overpowered my desire to stay thin. Let me tell you, it was worth the cheat. The milk chocolate was delicious, sort of reminds me Cadbury chocolate from the UK, not at all like Hershey chocolate which I find inedible. The pistachio cream filling was abundant and so was the toasted kataifi. I was not at all disappointed with the crunch factor. The chocolate is so fresh, I decided to keep the rest in the fridge. Next was the strawberries. It was very indulgent. I ordered the small, which was enough to satisfy a family of 4 with voracious teens. An unexpected plus was the customer service. The lady was very sweet, helpful and very knowledgeable. You can tell they pour care in everything they do. Thank you for a wonderful first time experience. Called ahead to make sure they had milk chocolate and white chocolate dubai chocolate bars. A pleasant lady answered my call and reassured me they did. I wanted to see what all the hype was about. They are open daily until 8 pm. I may or may not have engulfed my milk chocolate dubai bar on the car ride home. I haven't eaten the white chocolate one yet. The kataifi (shredded phyllo dough) is crunchy and the inside, like another yelper reviewed ,does not taste strongly of pistachio. However, one can tell it is good quality ingredients. I bought the combination nougat box as it was so pretty and I wanted to try turkish delight nougats (hello The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe when the White Witch offers Edmund Turkish delight, it got fixated in my mind as something supremely tasty and delightful) and I've only had one (I think it was the orange nougat, it has green pistachios on top of it) but where have you been all my life? The orange flavor explodes from this confectionery. I can't wait to try the others but I'm pacing myself. It's a good candy shop, I would visit again. Support small businesses! read more

If I lived in Anaheim, I'd be here every week! The space is stunning, beautiful and spotless. The service was absolutely immaculate, and the Dubai chocolate.. Hands down the best I've ever had. And the best part: it was all at a great price. When I walked in, I was immediately greeted, I believe by the owner, who warmly asked if I was there for their Dubai chocolate. She personally showed me their selection, walking me through the different flavors and price points. That kind of genuine service makes all the difference. If you're anywhere near the area, seriously, go visit this place. You won't regret it. read more

Once upon a time, this Faerie Queen was on the hunt for the much publicized Dubai chocolate bar for a dear friend who is a chocolate lover extraordinaire. What a wonderful shop! The owners are kind and helpful! There are many delectable treats to enjoy. I purchased the much sought after bars of chocolate, and they did not disappoint! The chocolate is thin, the pistachio/crushed wafers give the bar a lovely texture. The bar is not too sweet, and is the perfect accompaniment to tea or coffee. The gift was a hit! I got both the dark chocolate and milk chocolate-- both were very good. This shop was older and felt almost empty because it is a letter shop with not a lot of stuff in it. Chocolate and random Knick knacks on the wall, showcase on the opposite side. Some tables in the middle with random stuff on it. Owner was great and friendly. Came for the Dubai chocolate which I am not a fan of after trying. The chocolate itself was good, but I didn't like the filling. I appreciate how they have small individual pieces plus full size chocolate bars. I also like how they have, white, dark, and milk chocolate dubai varieties. The pistachio nougat was gross. It's like a cross between a marshmallow and nougat. read more

First time there last Sunday 9/21/2025, we were so glad we stopped by. (We're not from the area). Dina, the owner was very gracious and nice; very welcoming. The store was very clean and spacious- there are lot's of delicious looking goodies . I bought the large Dubai Chocolate for me and small ones for my friends. It was a hit!!! The DC is delicious- filled with so much stuff, unlike some I tasted - flavor was excellent . I tried the strawberry dubai chocolate and it- was fabulous!!! Worth every penny- soo much chocolate, pistachio and kunaka. I couldn't finish because it was a lot (large size) but it was still delicious (more when chilled) the next day. My friends loved the Dubai chocolate- said the best they've had yet. Highly recommended and definitely will comeback read more

We came here after looking for Dubai chocolate and this small business had amazing reviews. Once we walked in we were greeted by the owner and there were SO many more chocolate items than just the Dubai chocolate. There were different sizes, flavors and chocolate types. I decided to make the drive after calling in & hearing that they carried the viral Dubai chocolate bar. Thanks Reddit for the recommendation. They did have plenty in stock (no need to order ahead). I purchased one milk chocolate bar ($14.99), went to my car, tasted it, and immediately went back to buy another. The gentleman working was so nice and even gave me a free dark chocolate sample. Parking wasn't too bad & if it wasn't 45 min away I'd go back more often. Taste: there is definitely a bite and crunch with each taste. read more

I'm so addicted...just perfect. The lady who showed me around was just the sweetest person ever, and packaged the chocolates in a cute little bag for me when I told her they're to be gifted. Their Dubai chocolate!! The pistachio knafeh inside was heavenly. I totally get the hype. Chocolate overall was good since they lack the artificial flavor (she said they're home made every day) and do not have the light staleness taste you get from packaged chocolates. They also have a chocolate covered pistachio paste, which isn't so sweet and more nut. 4x4 Dubai chocolate was around $5, half bar was $15 and full bar was $25. Sure, they're on the pricier side, but given the ingredients, I think they're pretty reasonable. Their packaging is very no frill, just covered with gold wrapping paper and a sticker on the back. I may have to order some online! Totally worth the trip. read more

They have so many items to choose from from and at first it can be a lot. But with the help of the owner and his son they were able to help us to choose the best items we wanted. As soon as we walked in we were greeted and asked if we needed any help, not just by 1 person, but 2. The shop was busy initially, but we were still greeted (the 2 times), and offered a basket for our items. Unfortunately I'm really bad with names, so I don't remember the lady's name, but she saw my daughter, interacted with her and offered her a free chocolate, which she loved (thank you again). We were actually looking to try the viral Dubai chocolate, which we found immediately. 3 different types and 3 different sizes. We opted for the smallest size ($4.99/ea). We got a few milk chocolate, and 1 white chocolate to try. I'm glad we found this shop. The chocolates were good and I really liked the milk chocolate one. I will definitely be coming back here when we have more cravings! read more
