Very nice, deep leather couches. Great place to talk to friends or watch the game on their massive TVs. Love the aquarium they have if you just wanna zen out looking at fish. Great selection of cigars, had myself a Leaf by Oscar Maduro and RP Sungrown. Not the quietest place, but sometimes there's peace in the chaos.

best cigar lounge I have ever been to, They have a huge selection of cigars , I do wish I took more pictures next time . Great customer service wanted a mild cigar The young lady that help me knew her stuff. I picked out a $20 cigar and it was really fresh . Do you have a lounge area with TV screen all around and a huge fish tank . they also have private rooms so you and your closest friends can kick back and enjoy a cigar , outside patio also . They also have drinks and candy that you could purchase non-alcoholic , but you also can bring your favorite drinking in . I do highly recommend this place and I'll be back in a couple days . thank you .

If you're looking for a chill and classy place to enjoy a cigar Taylor's is where you want to be. The staff is professional and courteous they know a lot about cigars. My first time visiting here the members were extremely welcoming and made me feel at home. Long story short I became a member shorty after that initial visit and it has been one of the best decisions I've made. The lounge itself is members only but you can acquire a day pass just ask the staff. Theres also seating in the lobby area with tv's and also outside seating those are open to the public. The humidor is usually stocked with a great selection hard to find and rare cigars. If you're ever in the area check this place out.

I've been to a lot of Cigar lounges in many cities over the years and I would tell anyone in the Long Beach area to check this place out. The owner and members are very welcoming and the lounge is super clean. If you come from out of town they will let you visit the member area. The cigar selection is very good and the humidor keeps the stogies fresh.

Since most places were closed, I searched Apple Maps and found Umaya Ramen, about 20 minutes from Long Beach and open until 1 AM. The restaurant was packed when we arrived, but we were seated right away. The menu looked great, and I was excited to see Shirley Temples on the drink menu. We ordered the Pork Belly Oshi and the Rock Shrimp Tempura to start. The Pork Belly Oshi was good, though I wish the rice had been crispier. The Rock Shrimp Tempura was delicious--the creamy spicy sauce was so good. I ordered the Tonkotsu Ramen (no mushrooms because my boyfriend is allergic) and added the small Chashu Rice Bowl for $5. The broth was amazing--rich and creamy without being too heavy. The rice bowl was good too, though I wish the mayo on top had a little spice. Adding chili oil and sriracha fixed that. My boyfriend got the Chicken Shoyu Ramen, and after stealing a sip of his broth, I can confirm it was delicious too. The service was excellent. The host was super friendly and gave manager/owner vibes, our server was great, and other staff members checked on us throughout the meal. Our bill was around $70 for two people, including appetizers, drinks, ramen, and the extra rice bowl. We even had leftovers to bring home, so I thought it was a great value. Overall, a really solid late-night spot with great service and food. We'd definitely come back.

The Wicked Wolf is a kind of place that offers the opportunity for whimsical mischief. For…read moreinstance, they have a rooftop area. And this one time I was there alone with another, no other patrons just staff members walking around from time to time. We stole the moment to dance under the Long Beach sky, just the two of us as a famous Christina Perrio song gently wafted in the night breeze. At another separate time, I was at the Los Angeles County Fair with another. We rode the ferris wheel at such a time where our gondola stopped at the top just as the sun set. The moment was nothing but beautiful and life affirming because the sinking of the sun's light was like a real life video of nature happening in front of us, unburdened by static or data stall. We witnessed nature resting, and I feel, that it was a kin to a beauty falling into a gentle sleep. These two instances have a common factor: momentary bliss arrived to bless an experience because the environment supported discovery of unplanned joy. That is what I associate with the Wicked Wolf, and this time the joy arrived eventually because when my Mom and I arrived to their high tea on Mother's Day the experienced seem like it would land nowhere good. Truth be told, my mom and I arrived 15 minutes early and there was no host in the stand and the place was empty except for a foursome. The energy felt lacked luster. One or two minutes after, the bartender informed us that we were early and the host would come soon. We sat in an available sofa for two, a loveseat persay. This gave us an opportunity to admire the decor that transported us to a storybook forest where good fairies reside, not like swamp creatures and trolls with malevolent fangs and dragon green eyes. I especially loved the large roses in the ceiling. To set the stage, the black ceiling had vines hanging from it, and the few roses were pops of crimson red displayed above. These were wonderful accents to the central mural of the joint that invited the viewer within deeper into the fairy forest where a light shone on an unseen meadow. The place had the decorations and general environment to be a lavender fairy's lounge, but, it did not fully work as a team room. For instance, my mom and I were sat in another lover's couch. Initially, I did not want to sit here because we were given circular tray sets. So imagine being told to sit in a couch, and each of us would get a tv tray. So I was left to wonder if we were going to be served tea in Belle's living room or if were going to watch a flick as we ate pollo loco bowl? But then as I settled into the tranquility of the moment, saw more people come and find their seat or couch, and as the serviced picked-up I realized that this was high tea in a place that had taken disjointed beauty and tackied it together for a patched tea experience that worked well. It was like the experienced was blessed and allowed by the same spirit that brought forth Raggedy Ann. For instance, the pictures show these pretty violet petaled tea cups and matching plates. This pairing was dainty and perfect for a tea party happening under pink veils. But then the sugar cubes came in a hedgehog shaped holder which was just as precious as seeing a piglet in a carriage built for one. Then the cream carrier was in the shape of a milk carton. I wondered where the missing child portrait was? The pastry plate was in the shape of a tropical flower like the ones scattered all over Hawaii. It belonged in a beautiful lei. Each of these elements was cute in its own delicate and whimsical way but together they made an eclectic hodgepodge, not a coherent tea set. And in this asymmetry laid the glitter of their error. The host also brought these clip on dainty hats that were perfect touches for make believe tea party. He carried them around in their original packing, including the box they came in. Not exactly the tailor of the queen, offering hats to the villagers as a gift from her to them, but still the effort magnified the moment. The tea food was the worst stumble that Red took as she was being chased by the Wicked Wolf. To begin with the end analysis, the tea offerings in general were standard, and not bites fit for a princess and her wedding court. For instance, the cream cheese and cucumber sandwich was just that---- a cucumber and cream cheese sandwich. I detected no effort to make it more than that. The blueberry scone was solid, nothing to skip through a meadow about. But once you added the jam of the table to the scone it was much easier to enjoy. I also had a madeline that was fluffy in the center but could have been purchased maybe at Costco. I had a Macaron and same thing, delicious but I have had something similar before and I suspected that it did not come from a place afloat with Parisian affairs. The best part of the tiers was this puff like thing that had like a Concha texture and design at the top. It was a sweet filled bite that was fit for a man made of muffin.

Overall, I'm so glad this is the place we chose to meet at! On a Wednesday night we were able to walk in and had no trouble getting a table for 4. The aesthetic is the standout feature of the place. The main bar is beautifully decorated and there are spacious booths to eat at as well. My favorite part was the two additional "secret" bar areas! While sitting in the main bar area you would have no idea there are additional rooms. Exploring the other rooms was a fun, unique part of the visit. The drinks were photo worthy as well as tasted great. The bar tender was attentive and adjusted my drink based on how much sweetness I like. The lychee margarita was my favorite because they light it up table side for a fun presentation! The food tasted great and was very affordable priced! Our group ordered multiple items and shared them family style, which seems to be a common approach here. The shrimp fried rice was delicious and my favorite food item. One order was plenty to share between 4 people. Per our server's request, we also tried the cucumber salad which was really refreshing and a great side. I tried the popcorn chicken but honestly they packed a kick and were too spicy for me, so be warned. In sum, the service, food, drinks, and ambiance were great and I will definitely be back!

My friend Conrad and I came here on a night where we needed good vibes and good bites to make our…read moretime together worthwhile. Meaning, we were spending time together and just moving through the interaction, like clothes in a spin cycle. But going here made our time together mean something more because we had arrived at a space that elevated our mood and spirits. So we were now feeling the suds and splashes of the movement not just in the monotony of the spin. As we entered, I felt like the place was a Chinese Market but indoors. I have never bene to China (I have yet to die so maybe one day my feet will have the chance to step the Great Wall) but I feel like their street vendors would have stands like the seating motif within the main room of this joint. The place was not packed but there was no space within the wooden booths for Conrad and I. I asked for options, and they showed me two different rooms. The first room was the Hao Pen You room which was heavilty yet beautifully decorated with varying red lanterns in the ceiling. Additionally, there was a paper dragon hanging in the ceiling, swimming in the air amidst the lanterns. The host ushered me in, and milaseconds after I felt a quick sense of awe. Not like the one I felt one I saw the Sisteen Chappel, but one that compelled me to snap quick photos of the aerial view. The host understood. She stopped her explanation to give me the space to feel my wow that was delivered in a red envelope. I eventually decided to sit in this room, so there is more detail that I can deliver, but before I do, I did request to see the other room of the house. So we crossed the room with the wooden booths and stepped into an immersive Tiki Bar that gave shipwreck vibes. Like the survivors of shipwreck took what they could from the boat's carcass, and made a great bar in the beach that glowed with the light of jellyfish and had seaweed on the ceiling as decoration that was not stale like mistletoe on a doorway. When Conrad and I sat in the Hao Pen You room, we learned that it was a quasi speak easy. According to history, in the 1800's it was common for Chinese immigrants to visit gambling and opium dens behind laundry rooms to find a space that they could call their own and escape discrimination. I am sure that dens of the past did not have the blazing style of the room I was sitting in, but I did appreciate learning about the history that inspired the room. Only because the pain of the past was reshaped to honor a culture in theatrical and edgy red. Plus, as one of my pictures show, the dragon's face and laser lit eyes, made it seem like a real creature born to this earth, not one simply reserved for myth and Game of Throne episodes. I appreciated the immersive trip to Chinese's lore and history. The reason why I did not give this place 5 stars, was the food. The food in general was (maybe tragically) basic. Conrad did not confirm this fact until we were outside the restaurant. I asked him why did he not share his feelings with our server when she asked? He explained why would he, she did not cook the food, and she could not do anything? And I am from the camp, where honesty matters but I guess it might only matter to me? He might be right what does honest feedback do for a server? Conrad might have been practicing "restaurant politeness" like keep the situation civil because if one becomes a demanding patron or eater then one breaks the social contract and becomes rude. Specifically, Conrad and I had the Vegan Dumplings, the pork buns, and rice wrapped in leaves. And even though we had different bites, and each one had their own flavor profile at the end I can only describe each bite as basic. That is my opinion, and I stand by it, as I should, as every one should. Perhaps this restaurant owns this identity. This might be a place that offers theatrical atmosphere, great drinks, vibes that make a Tuesday special, but their food might be the area that remains standard, and in the final score card the servers of the joint might be ok with that.

I got lucky and found a spot right out front on Anaheim Street. It shouldn't be too hard to find parking on nearby side streets. We visited on a weekday at 5pm and took advantage of their great happy hour, which runs all night on Monday and Tuesday, and from 3pm to 6pm Wednesday through Friday. Happy hour includes quite a few food specials, and $2 off tiki cocktails. They also have a tiki marketplace in the parking lot on the first Saturday of every month. We sat at the bar since we enjoy talking to the bartenders. Other seating options include a dining area in front with high top tables, and tiki hut booths behind the bar. The booth cushions are pretty beat up. They also have an open air patio out back with a lot of tables. There is another dining room between the patio and the front of the house that has minimal décor and mainly has murals on the walls. The overall tiki décor is somewhere between ok and good. The atmosphere feels like a neighborhood tiki bar with dive bar undertones. We started out with a few appetizers. The veggie egg rolls ($6 during happy hour) were good, and the sauce had a slight heat. We also had the shishito peppers ($8) which were a generous portion and had a very good unami sauce on them. I started out with the Fluffy Banana cocktail (White Rum, Cinnamon, Lemon, Coconut, Banana Liqueur, Bitters, $13 minus $2 happy hour discount). It had a great foam top rising above the edge of the glass. It was balanced with a light to medium sweetness, with coconut up front and banana underneath. She started out with the Bye Bye Ladies (Pineapple, Coconut Cream, Lemon, Tito's Vodka, Trader Vic's Macadamia Nut Liqueur, Shaved Macadamia Nut, $14 minus $2 happy hour discount). This was balanced, but on the much sweeter side with coconut and pineapple up front, with a little macadamia in the background. We ordered more food, and I had the Bamboo Classic Burger ($10 during happy hour). This was a solid tasty burger, and came with a healthy portion of french fries. She had the BBQ pulled jackfruit sandwich ($18). It is nice that they have some vegetarian options on the menu, and she enjoyed it. The Shoyu BBQ sauce had a little spiciness, and the coconut chili slaw definitely had some heat. Next, I had the Fire Walker (Del Maguey Mezcal, Lime, Pineapple, Passion Fruit, Falernum, Habanero Bitters, $14 minus $2 happy hour discount). The mezcal was a little bolder than I usually like, but it was good with light passion fruit flavor, and a nice kick from the habanero bitters. Her second drink was the Monkey Pod (Ron Del Barrilto Rum, Lime, Tamarind, Coconut, $13 minus $2 happy hour discount). It was balanced with tamarind and lime up front with coconut in the background. We had one last round and I got the Dr. Bamboo (Dr. Bird Jamaican Rum, 151 Rum, All-Spice, Prickly Pear, Cinnamon, $16). This one was my favorite. It is a little boozy, but balanced and lush with good allspice and pear flavor. It also feels like a generous pour. Her last cocktail was the Jungle Bird (Caruba Dark Jamaican Rum, Lime, Pineapple, Coconut Washed Campari, $14 minus $2 happy hour discount). This was also very good, and their version isn't as bitter as most. Our bartender Steph was awesome. He was very friendly, had great knowledge of the cocktail menu, and provided great service. He even let us try a little sample of one of his drink concoctions he was working on. Our evening here during happy hour was an absolute bargain. We had two appetizers, two entrees, and six cocktails, and the bill was just a bit over $100. One negative is that the men's room behind the bar is kind of gross and feels very inconsistent with the rest of the bar. It's very punk with stickers all over and it stinks. The bottom line is that the food and drinks are pretty good, and they're an excellent value during happy hour. Service was great, and the atmosphere is ok. We would definitely return during happy hour.

The bar was bustling for the game which I was happy to see but upon entry, there was a gal in crutches ahead of me and I heard the door kid say they were at capacity. I checked in with him with my service dog and immediately said, we are at capacity and don't allow dogs. I let him know I have a seat waiting for me at a table, said my dog is a service dog, and simply said, "I'm sorry we're at capacity and dont allow dogs." I understand the capacity thing. So I went outside and called my friend who was inside to tell him I couldn't come in because the bar was at capacity. My guy friend came out and gave me a hug. My friend then talked to the door guy and said that door guy said, "He said he'll let you in but not your dog." I confirmed with him, "So you lied about being at capacity and are denying my service dog? Because you just told my friend you'd let me in." He tried to explained that the bar is busy and that that is how the owner runs it. I asked to speak to a manager. A manager comes out, or claims to be, saying she owned the bar, and never introduced her name. She was wearing 49ers jersey, blonde hair. I explained the situation to her and said, "you can't turn away service dogs, that's a violation. Do you understand that?" She then proceeded to explain to me that because the bar is busy and people are spilling drinks SHE does not feel comfortable having a dog in her bar. I again said, he is here for me, he is a certified service dog, and sits under the table, as my dog is just standing there. I asked, "Wouldn't that be MY call if I was comfortable if my service dog and I were in here or not?" She responded, "No, it is my bar so it's my call." She proceeded to say, "Look you can come here on a Monday with him and youll be fine. I love dogs more than I like humans, my sister has a service dog, etc. Etc." None of her banter ok's the fact that she outrightly denied entry of a patron with service dog and initially claiming to ve of capacity but lied about that as well. Horrible door experience and unfortunately I will have to report this to the DOJ as an ADA violation. This review is to document the occurrence and advise those planning to bring service dogs to be aware they will make excuses to not let you and your working animal in. For the owner, hi, just FYI businesses must allow service animals unless they pose a direct threat (in which mine did not). You violated both federal ADA and CA laws.

Our service was very slow and the drinks took a very long time to come out. We were some of the only people in the restaurant, so I can't blame it on being very busy. My girlfriend ordered a mojito and it tasted more like a margarita than anything. Our appetizer was okay but for the price you pay you don't get much. My burrito was decent, nothing to write home about. But you could definitely get a better one in Long Beach for $5 cheaper. My girlfriend ordered a salmon special which was about $30. I've never had a more overcooked piece of fish in my life. When the server asked how our food was I informed her the food was extremely overcooked. She didn't seem to care and there was no offer to find some kind of solution. I wasn't expecting a comped dish or anything special, but a little acknowledgement would have been appreciated. I wouldn't reccomend this place but if you're going to the club there and want food I guess this could be a decent option.

The instructors are great and the crowd is fun diverse (in terms of age, background, and experience dancing). The djs are also awesome play a lot of good music. The vibe is fun and high energy. It's nice to see a place that is filled with dancers of all skill levels just having fun and learning to dance. The venue itself is beautiful. They have a large open air dance floor that overlooks the marina as well as a smaller dance area inside near the pool tables. The decore is classy and elegant overall. On salsa nights they have drink specials in addition to the regular drink menu. Lastly I once lost my key fob there and someone returned it to their lost and found. I'm forever grateful to whomever returned it and the staff at the front door / lost and found. Overall it's an awesome place to come out and hang out and dance.

It wasn't even close to full. They're clearly holding people outside on purpose to create fake hype, which is honestly pretty messed up. You're telling me dozens of people are stuck waiting forever while there's plenty of room inside? It's giving manufactured crowd and poor management. To make it worse, they stopped serving drinks and turned the lights on at 1:15 AM, way earlier than literally any normal bar. So after wasting hours in line, you barely even get time inside. And it somehow gets worse -- at 1:35 AM they were literally kicking people out of the restroom. We weren't even allowed to finish or wash our hands before being rushed out. That's not just rude, it's straight up unhygienic and disrespectful. Overall, completely overhyped, disorganized, and not worth the wait at all. Don't fall for the line -- it's fake.
