I didn't take pics of the menu as we didn't get any menus because my family already knew what they wanted & told the waitress what to order. Ordered about 10 dishes but the only 2 dishes that really stood out for me was the fried flounder & seafood soup. Fried whole chicken was really really dry. Service was good. They only had 2 waitresses and it got busy so they did their best. Clean restaurant. There's rooms you can reserve for karaoke. Parking was ok but I can see how it can be challenging as the lot is shared with a number of other restaurants on the strip. There's street parking as well. read more

Driven by so many times, but this was the first time stopping in, 11:30am on Saturday. Seated quickly. Waitress asked if we preferred tea or water. We chose water. Ordered popcorn basil chicken, chicken with string beans, honey garlic spareribs, and dry beef chow fun. It took a bit for food to arrive. I could see that they had several takeout orders filled during the wait. Food came out all at the same time. The portion size on the popcorn chicken was huge compared to other boba shops. No basil to be found, but that's ok. String beans were crunchy, and there was plenty of slices of chicken breast. It's my niece's favorite dish. The honey garlic spareribs were sweet, but loved the big pieces of garlic. Also, the spareribs were pretty meaty. All in all, this was a great meal for our first time. By the time we finished, restaurant had gotten pretty packed. Service was good. Waitresses were pleasant and helpful. They had conversations with many of the customers while managing the dining room efficiently. Will be back to try other dishes and drinks. read more

The tea from here is not bad although I found the milk tea to be a bit too sweet despite asking for 50%, so perhaps 25% would be better if you aren't a fan of things that are too sweet. The boba pearls themselves are also overly sweet but they have a good chewy texture. Also pricey... read more

This place is kind of cool because it's an authentic Chinese restaurant + boba shop + KTV lounge. I like coming here for the food/getting it doordashed. My favorites are the scallop and egg white fried rice (perfectly loose grains of rice, great flavor), seafood tofu pot (the only place in Sac that does it like them! I will substitute squid for more tofu), and the garlic or Pan Fried Minced Pork Green Beans. The chicken and string beans is also good if I want something with more meat. Highly recommend trying them! One of the best Asian restaurants in sacramento for sure. read more

The server kept asking us if we were ready to order which I felt annoyed as this was my first time there. I had a passion fruit boba smoothie but I got an iced slushy instead. Decided to stop by since we were on the way to a local sushi restaurant and our order wasn't ready yet. This used to be iTea! The durian milk tea seemed really interesting so I ordered it, and my friend ordered the blueberry slush. The durian milk tea was underwhelming. It had the durian flavor, but something was off about it, like it wasn't fresh durian. The gasoline smell/flavor people often complain about was pretty strong, and this is coming from someone who absolutely loves durian. I would not order this again. The boba was also more on the chewy side and not sweetened much. I had a sip of the blueberry slush, and it was a very light blueberry yogurt sort of flavor, with like a very faint hint of tartness. It was pretty slush-y, and not creamy for obvious reasons. We didn't even change the sweetness levels on these drinks for there to be compromise in flavor, in case they actually did decrease the flavoring. Maybe I just didn't get the right thing here... but for some reason the Tiger Milk wasn't quite what I wanted. To be fair I like my drinks REALLY sweet and this one seemed a bit watered down. It still was satisfying and fulfilling on such a hot day though! We did order in store and had to wait a bit - but you definitely could order online! They're still not open for indoor seating, so you walk in the door and order and wait outside for your drink. Overall, would come back and try something else though! We were recently invited to join friends for a dinner at Tea Hub. I had no idea what to expect other than a fun evening with friends. After a 1/2 hour drive to get there we arrived to find a small parking lot with cars literally lined up waiting for someone to leave so they could park. The interesting thing was that immediately next to this lot was another restaurant and the lot was completely empty. I started to park there and then saw signs indicating we would be towed if we were not patronizing that restaurant. (They were open although not a customer in sight) We waited a short few minutes and did get lucky and got a spot. Walked into the restaurant and were greeted by a bustling environment and full tables with groups of from 4-12 people. Our friends were already seated and so we joined them. Our friends who were regular patrons had already ordered for the table which made it easy for us since we had no idea what to order. The first dish, (Potstickers) came out and was set on the lazy susan. They were tender and flavorful and a nice start to the dinner. I didn't make notes for the dinner but I will say that every dish was tasty, served in large portions so that all six of us could enjoy. We did have the empress chicken, the beef brisket among the many dishes tried. Overall, the service & food were excellent. This is the same spot that was previously iTea, connected to the Star K-Tv Lounge. You can be seated and order off of a menu from there, or just go straight to the counter if you want drinks. The menu and the photos still looked like iTea so they must be transitioning still. I even ordered my usual iTea drink - brown rice milk tea. Drinks were just as good as the other iTea, at least they're a lot faster here. Unfortunately when we got our butterfly mango drink, it was spilling everywhere at the table and we realized it was because the cup was broken on the side! We spilled a lot out of the cup but all they did was pour the remainder in a new cup instead of making a new drink. Tables were kinda sticky. I also noticed the trash can was completely full when we got there, and it was even more full when we left. I'm talking cups falling off of the top because it was so full. It's right in front too so it's hard to miss. Definitely off putting. I wanted to try some food next time, although I'm not sure if it's the same food that's offered for Star KTV. But after this visit I'm pretty sure we'll be skipping this place and just visiting other boba shops. read more

I wanted to check out this place, formerly iTea. Actually, Its exactly the same as before- but with a new name, branding and additional items on the menu. It's still attached to the restaurant/karaoke part. When this place was iTea, I initially was impressed: However in subsequent visits it went downhill in quality and service. I have been overcharged 2x and given wrong orders, walked out a few times because they failed to prepare boba, but I never got a chance to update my review, and I was hoping with the new "name" and products things might change? Unfortunately no. I walked in a few days after the name changed to check it out- but they had not prepared boba balls (which to me is the main reason you get a boba drink). The 2nd time, I came in during a busy lunch scene and they had everything. The prices are the same or higher and again the menu is almost the same as before. The girl at the counter was not in the best mood. I ordered my usual drink and it was more expensive than other places, but I had already committed to try it. I stood by the side and waited for my drink. I spied the girl making my drink and then dumping it out, but save the boba in some leftover liquid. She stopped and returned to help other customers. I waited about 10 minutes until she was done at the register while the other person behind the counter made other drinks. I did not say one word. I just waited. When my drink was ready she put it on the counter and walked away. I did not know it was for me or...? I asked and she was abrupt and scowled. What.ev.er. My name was not on the tea and there was a near identical drink right next to it. I had the Earl gray milk tea w extra boba. It was good, average good. The tea was too light, not much flavor and the boba was tasty (it almost always is) but they were just a bit too hard. My friend asks if there's certain hours they're doing it. They don't give a clear answer, just say they're "not doing it right now." My friend asks if they don't do it on Fridays. Teahub, again, doesn't give a clear answer, says "not today." So my friend walked out. So basically they may or may not be doing the 2 for $5 depending on however they feel(???). You can take your chances. Also, they still have the 2/$5 menu listed there, and it doesn't have any limited hours for it so.... Bad business model. Their milk tea is decent, it tastes a lot sweeter than I prefer even though I usually get 30%. When we came in we were stared down like a hawk by the workers there. There was also a man in the back (I'm assuming the cook) that stood there just staring at us angrily looking. Another, is that this place doesn't look sanitary. We had an excellent dinner at Tea Hub. The service was great and food came out within 15 minutes. We like ordering the braised beef brisket because it's very tender. The empress chicken was good. The chicken texture was firm and flavor was good. The green beans were good, but next time we will go back to ordering the garlic green beans because we are not a fan of spicy food. It wasn't that spicy though. Corn soup was perfect for a cold day especially with a little bit of white pepper sprinkled on top. It has more of an actual tea taste rather than a sugary powder. Super yummy and refreshing. The passion fruit slush is also very good and has a genuine flavor of the fruit. This place use to be iTea. I saw that it was something new so I popped on in. It's connected to the karaoke joint. I think you can pretty much order anything at the counter that the restaurant/karaoke joint has as well as drinks. My hubs got the regular milk tea with regular ice/70% ice and he liked it. I got the Tiger sugar milk tea - I got it with 50% ice/50% sugar and was still plenty sweet on account that the Tiger sugar milk tea contains caramel. It was really good. The consistency in the poppcorn chicken has not been good. The first time was really good! This last time, didn't even look like the first time and there was just something off about the taste. On this last occasion, we also offered fried fish and it came out as little fishes that were deep fried. I'm not sure what we were anticipating, but not what we had mind. Before we dived in, when we picked up a piece, there was another piece that hung together by a piece of hair through the deep fried batter. I do like the milk tea here! They actually make them pretty fast. If you come during happy hour, the drinks are half off. The service is cool. It's the typical service you get at any Chinese restaurant. Previously this place was called iTea. I came back after a long time, so I don't know when they changed the name. The inside pretty much looks the same and the workers I believe are also the same overall. I think they might be changing some things inside still due to the change of name. The menu there is also pretty much the same. The dish that I really like here is the Mapo Tofu. It's spicy as it is, but I typically ask for them to put a little bit more spicy than it originally is. When I came yesterday afternoon, it was happy hour time so their drinks were only $2.50 each. The drink that I got was Panda Milk Tea and if you have ever gone to T4 and had their Panda Milk Tea, it pretty much tastes the same. My boyfriend got Thai Iced Tea and that also tastes the same as any other Thai Iced Tea. Not saying that it doesn't taste good. It was good, but nothing to be super "Wow" about. A thing about the drinks though, is that one person can order up to 2 and each will cost $2.50. If you want to order more than 2 drinks in that same order, you will have to pay full price for the other drinks. The happy hour $2.50 drinks goes from only Monday - Friday at a certain time. TR1- Tiger Sugar Milk Tea, a must try for my basic or classic milk tea lovers who doesn't want to go out their comfort zone. This used to be the iTea location but they changed to a different name. Anyways was craving milk tea after lunch with a friend. Stopped in to grab a milk tea. They had some interesting drinks on their menu but what caught my eyes was a tofu red bean milk tea. I asked for 50% sweetness. The milk tea itself wasn't good in my opinion, it didn't have a good tea taste to it. The tofu was more on the firm side. I wished it was a more soft, silken tofu. The red beans were a little hard for my liking. They should have been cooked longer for more softness. Wasn't one of my favorite milk tea. Solid choice for tea and light meals! I've ordered mango, thai tea, and macha. All were great: flavorful, not too sweet, and not too artificial (I hate teas that just use powder instead of brewing leaves). Food-wise, I have ordered pepper chicken and beef bowl. Beef was good, not ground-breaking, but solid. Chicken was salty, crispy, and excellent. Service was polite and decently-paced. Space was vibrant with TV and decorative lights. We are always on the search for boba spots near our current location at the time. Of course I have to use my trusty yelp app to see what's the closest boba spot and what they have to offer. We came up on this place because we were at Fairytale Town and we were craving some boba. We drove down the street and around the corner and there it was. The parking lot is super small and there are cars that don't know how to park. It's a small and narrow lot so please be careful. The parking spots are super small too. We have a Suburban, a large truck and we park a few spots away from the mass of cars near the boba place. This place accepts to go orders only. It's connected to the Karaoke place next door but of course that place isn't open yet. This place offers food too and it looked good but we didn't order food. We were there for one specific reason and that was for the boba. Boba! They have a pretty good variety of boba offerings. I chose the Thai Tea. My usual go to if I don't know what to order. It's a safe order for me. My youngest son ordered the Strawberry Frosty, no boba because they don't offer the tiny bobas. My 3rd son ordered the Black Tea Oreo and Creamy with boba and hubby ordered the Passionfruit Frosty with boba. We waited about 5-7 minutes and our drinks were ready. We waited outside on the benches which were handy because the area this boba spot is located in is tiny, hole in the wall like, corner store. My Thai Tea was just like any Thai Tea. It had the right amount of ice and a ton of boba. The boba is what surprised me because it tasted so fresh, like they had just made it. It was just chewy enough, not hard, and a little melt in your mouth like. It was perfect. I tasted my son's strawberry frosty and it was good. It wasn't overly sweet and overly ice to make it taste watery. It was cool and refreshing. I tasted my other's son's drink, the black tea oreo and creamy with boba. I was amazed at how much it tasted like a cookies and cream shake. You couldn't tell that it was mixed with black tea like all the other place. I loved it. Again, even though this drink was blended (it's a frosty), the boba was also super tasty, soft, semi chewy but melt in your mouth like. It was super yummy. I really liked this drink and probably would order it again for my kids (you know, so I could "taste" more of it...hahaha). Oh and before I forget, it had some cream on top and that was tasty. It may have been the sea salt crema but I can't be for sure. It was yummy either way. My hubby's passion frosty was good too. It wasn't overly sweet and it wasn't watery. Hubby did wait until the end to get to the boba though so it did freeze up a bit but he was fine with it. I tasted his drink WITH the boba before it froze and it was just like mine and our son's drink. The boba tasted fresh as if they just cooked it and it was delicious. I could eat their boba with any of their drinks and I'd be a happy camper. The person at the door/table wasn't friendly. He just took our order, we paid, and we waited outside. It was just another transaction to him. I'm not expecting to have the best customer service but a little welcoming feeling would have been nice. Oh how the mighty have fallen. This place, itea to teahub transition was quite the spectacular location with lots of drink variety, snacks, and even games to play like traditional Boba shops. Now, it's a shadow of itself. The entire drink menu is only about a dozen items now that fit a single 24 inch monitor in huge text and of which a few items were actually not in stock. The bar area area where all the Boba milk teas and other snacks were made in eons past is now filled with wine glasses and alcohol bottles of various types (some pretty good quality varieties though ngl). No more various board games nor the drinks nor vibes here anymore. If you want your boba fix, look elsewhere. read more

We have come here a few times since it has rebranded and it just keep losing stars as we go back. The drink quality has gone down and they were not made well, we even changed the sweetness. The add ons are less and less each time and the customer service is lacking the care level that other "happy" places have.
