My friend and I went here to celebrate our birthday's. We even got all dressed up. Be sure to call and make a reservation. We had a great time. The staff was friendly and helpful. We got a full description of each of the teas in the shop and a little background on how the store experience came about. We also learned a little more about tea. We got to select 2 teas and those were brewed for us and brought out. We got a nice tower of delicious sandwiches, scones and desserts. Everything was delicious! We were stuffed and ended up taking our leftover food and tea to go. This was a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon. They also have fondue options. You can purchase some of the tea to take home. This review is difficult due to the fact that there was a mix-up with reservations made by Yelp and the establishment unaware of Yelp's reservations. WARNING! Do NOT reserve a table using Yelp at this establishment, as they claimed to have discontinued Yelp reservation services, yet the option still exists to do so. We went on Mother's Day hoping it would be a lovely surprise for my wife and mother of four girls; unfortunately, the establishment had to find a way to squeeze us into their line-up and we ended up sitting at the bar table, which still was a lovely spot to converse. I do think the unplanned reservation caused delays (more than an hour wait) to get our High Tea food items, which were very well prepared and tasty, especially the scones! We picked two teas from the vast assortment available. Unfortunately the tea was ill timed and came after we had finished all our food. Overall, I still gave this establishment 4 stars as the atmosphere and food were great. We came here because of a Groupon deal that I was given for my birthday. We walked in, and it was immediately greeted by one of the workers. She came out, told us where we would be sitting and gave us an introductory to all of their tea. It was actually really cool because we got to go up and smell all of the tease and she said that all of them pretty much taste the way that they smell, which was a great experience for us. We got to pick for our package. We got to pick two teas and once we sat down, it took about 5 to 10 minutes for our items to come out to us. We were shocked that took the tease a little bit longer to come out then everything else but everything was perfect. The food platter that we had was so cute and tasty. Because it was my birthday they sang me happy birthday and the chocolate cake that they give you for your birthday is delicious! I would definitely go there just for some good tea and chocolate cake. This was such a fun and cute experience! I was able to make a reservation online before we came in, which was very great inconvenient. The staff was very friendly explaining the whole story of the restaurant and a little bit of background behind each tea. I think it was definitely a good experience that switches up traditional group outings! The tea, snacks that we had along with our tea were very delicious. They also had a grilled cheese option if you don't eat meat, which was great. All of the teas we tried were very tasty and had unique and very strong flavors. First impression: modern, cozy, intimate. My friend and I were greeted warmly as soon as we entered the establishment. Eric, the owner, then proceeded to give us a very detailed "tour" of the teas they offer. I love that 64 teas are on display with small samples for sniffing at each dispenser. I chose Mulled Wine. It was delicious and tastes just like real mulled wine. My friend had lemon and ginseng green tea. She loved her choice as well. We learned that some teas are better sweetened with sugar as opposed to honey; because honey can sometimes alter the taste of the tea, Who knew? For lunch I had the brisket panini and chicken noodle soup. The sandwich was delicious: the brisket flavorful and tender. My friend had the ham and Gouda on croissant. We both left crumbs! The soup was so good, I wanted to drown myself in it and I told the owners so! I'd go back just for the soup! Next time we will try one of the high or royal teas options. Sunday visit to this charming Tea experience, first visit. The yellow decor is very inviting and helps create a sense of brightness. Eric was super helpful and explained the 64 Tea options fully and went the extra step to explain how to pour the tea properly. I witnessed him go over the instructions with several patrons who visited. I went with the Tea 4 Two, which was easily about 4/5 Tea cups of tea. I actually ended up getting the last of it to go. Cinnamon Pear Tea sounded amazing and it didn't disappoint. Awesome how the tea pot keeps your Tea warm the entire time. Additionally, I went with a Cinnamon Honey Scone and Chocolate Muffin. Both served warmed, they were delicious! I tried my best to finish them both, but I didn't win that battle. Easily one of the best treats I've had in a long time. read more

We found this place on Groupon and we weren't disappointed. Everyone was so friendly. They explained what we got with or reservation, how to choose our tea, and presented our selection with flair. We were not disappointed in our selection. We bought a couple of bags to take home. I could hang out here sipping on tea all day. And I'm not usually drinking hot drinks. 10/10 establishment! This black woman owned family run space is a must visit! I went for high tea and cannot wait to return. The tea was hot and flavorful. The food was fresh, hot, and seasoned. The staff catered to our every need and gave excellent service. I enjoyed the vast variety of teas and the ability to blend them together. There were so many offerings I will have to go at least twice a month a year to try them all. This spot is great for small gatherings for everyone or a cozy spot to work. I saw they offered bridal and baby shower events. I am sure they would host a book club or two as well. For accessibility the space is cozy so if you use a mobility or sight aid you may need assistance or find it more convenient to go on a slower day. I was just fine as I went on a slower morning for them and it was less crowded. The restroom is small but interestingly had a shower. For my non-tea friends there were coffees and lemonades. read more

Cute space, great concept--but still working out the kinks Visited in August 2025. This spot has only been open for a few months, and while the space is adorable and the concept is lovely, the execution needs improvement. My family and I made a reservation for 11 a.m. on a Sunday via Yelp. When I arrived, the place was nearly empty. The staff member was friendly and told us we could sit anywhere, but things quickly became confusing. She thought we had booked the Royal High Tea, which we hadn't. After showing our confirmation email, we cleared that up and ordered the posh blinis and some teas. It took about 30-35 minutes for the blinis to arrive, and they didn't match the menu description. They were served cold on pita rounds with cream cheese, cucumber, lobster, caviar, and a spicy sauce--not what we expected. Then we were told they were also making Luxe blinis (which we didn't order and don't like), so we had to clarify again to avoid being charged an extra $52. The staff member preparing food had to come out and look at the menu to understand our concern. Eventually, we ordered sandwiches instead. Later, the check we received didn't include prices--just a list of items--so we had to go back up to get a corrected bill. Despite the confusion, there were some highlights: The tea wall was fun to explore, with small cups to smell each blend (though some were missing or mixed up). The teas themselves were excellent--the best part of the experience. The staff member was sweet, though soft-spoken and likely new. The food was okay, but the setup is more deli counter than kitchen, and we heard a microwave go off a few times. Also, the china used was plain and didn't match the elegant photos on the menu--none of our items looked like the pictures, which makes me wonder if they used stock images. I wouldn't say skip this place--it has real potential. But I hope they can streamline operations and improve consistency. If they do, I'd love to come back! read more

The table area is roomy and I felt comfortable at my table. The menu is multiple pages and full color. There is a wall of 64 teas to choose from, each with a cup of tea on top to sniff because we all know tea isnt just about taste. There are 32 fruity herbal, 11 black, 12 green, and 8 medicinal teas to choose from. The food is warm, fresh and homemade. I chose the mango n friends tea from Germany. Excellent flavor. Had an amazing tea service here. Enjoyed the delicious tomato bisque and 2 scones. I got a green tea, but I'd recommend getting an herbal tea, they leave the leaves in the pot, so the flavor will be really intense. A beautiful hidden gem in Bevo-mill! I made a reservation for my friends and I to enjoy tea and togetherness after the New Year. Tea ParTea DID NOT disappoint! We were so happy with everything from the food, customer service , and especially the yummy tea selections. This place has so many teas! I'm talking over 100! I was immediately impressed and drawn in by the tea wall that had so much on display. I'd highly recommend this place for tea enthusiast. For my non tea drinkers they have a beverage bar where you can get other beverages made from scratch. The chai latte was probably one of the best I've ever had made by B.A. kudos to him! The shining star from our time there was definitely Mr. Eric himself, he explained things with such care and consideration. For that reason we would absolutely return! I purchased 2 of the teas (Clara's blend and the Immunity tea) and some honey sticks. They have plenty of other items to help take your at home tea experience to the next level. Loved our experience at Tea ParTea. It's a cozy spot that has the option for both high tea and smaller fare like a walk in cafe. It's warm and inviting and the staff are friendly and welcoming. We did the high tea which was a Groupon. But, we didn't know that when we made the reservation so the owners offered to give us that price without us asking. My Southwest Chicken sandwich wasn't that good, and I had a soup that wasn't very flavorful. My lunch partner tried the Japanese Yuzu salad and didn't like it. I was invited by family for a Mother's Day celebration. Let me state that I am a french roast coffee drinker. I do not drink tea. Well, at least not until yesterday. If you can not find a flavor or mixture or country of origin tea that appeals to you, then you have no tastebuds. The waitstaff was very considerate, in asking you to take you time in selecting your tea of choice. Each of us in our party had a separate pot of tea. We each had a different flavor. I was amazed that I consumed a full pot. The waitstaff was kind in explaining how the tea was served and what flavors could be mixed. There are at least 40-50 teas from around the world offered. All fresh. Now to the food. There were three courses --or more if you are so inclined. I selected a salad. DELICIOUS! Why? because vegetable were fresh, the meats were generously supplied and the dressings were unique in that they were tea-based oils and spices. OMG. I was even more surprised when I discovered that my salad was a "small". No way. We were not rushed as we were entertained by an excellent violinist who serenaded us during the entire meal with popular classics. I passed on the soup offering. I wanted to save room for the sandwiches and sweet pastries. I was amazed when two serving platters were set before us on the table laden with turkey, ham and bacon, salmon and avocado sandwiches. I was even more amazed when a second platter of the same came later that was equal in quantity and quality as the first serving.
