Great Banh Mi bbq pork sandwich!! The roll was very soft on the inside and had a light crunch on the crust. Comes with tons of fresh veggies, pickled veggies and a good amount of meat. It is better than the sandwiches at Wings and Mi in the same complex and more affordable. Very nice clean place, I didn't try a drink but they have a lot of boba, teas and coffees available. Being from Orange County (and was recently back from a vacation in Vietnam), I didn't expect much from this place, but I was pleasantly surprised and impressed by their banh mi. I ordered the special with extra pate and grilled pork, and both sandwiches far exceeded my expectations. The bread was crunchy on the outside and soft inside. They packed in the pate as per my request, and the cold cut was thicker than usual. They didn't skimp on the mayo and veggies either. I also had the honey green tea and ube milk tea and those weren't bad either. The only thing was that they didn't have the boba or brown sugar ready, saying that it'll take an hour to make. If this is the case, perhaps they should come earlier to prepare or open a bit later. Overall, I'm glad this place is making (good) banh mi more accessible to folks in this area. Wow, we count ourselves very lucky to find this fast-food restaurant. We go weekly now; the frozen teas are incredible, and the Pork Spring rolls and Banh sandwich rolls are the best. My sister and I walked in the establishment and were not greeted at all. I ordered the taro milk tea with boba and it was with the real taro bits. I didn't understand it had chunks in there and requested a new one and the person working there had an attitude. She did make another instead though. I came to this shop that replaced the old one called Gold Tea Boba and Sandwiches. The shop was nicely decorated, very clean, and had an open layout. I ordered the cold cut sandwich, which tasted good, but I wish it had more meat and pickled vegetables. If you look at the business's picture with the two sandwiches, they show overflowing meat and vegetables. However, if you look at mine, there's more bread than meat and veggies, which doesn't create a good balance. The staff were nice, and the service was fast. Maybe I'll try the other sandwiches to see if they add more meat and vegetables. Overall, this place has potential, and I will probably return to try their other items. read more

was looking for somewhere to grab lunch and decided to try this new shop that just opened two weeks ago. they've quickly earned repeat customers! the place was clean, had cute decor, an easy to navigate menu, and a picture detailing what's in a bahn mi. we were met with smiles and fast service. it took only 7 mins to receive 3 drinks and 3 food items. the food was AMAZING. we got a bbq pork & a pork belly bahn mi. both were very tasty. bread was nice and fluffy. veggies had a great fresh crunch. and the meat was tender. perfectly balanced and portioned. my only rec would be maybe to add sweet and sour sauce to the order (we had some at home so no biggie, but it might be nice for others.) the spring rolls were HUGE. great price for the size you get. loved the peanut sauce that came with it too. the drinks were also a crowd pleaser. the vietnamese coffee wakes you right up. the ube brown sugar was not overly sweet even without adjusting the sweetness ratio (which is an option.) boba was soft and delicate. the rose lychee tea comes with fresh lychee. Was driving on the S 15 freeway in the morning when we were craving Vietnamese coffee. Their egg coffee and viet coffee was so good that we decided to come back on our drive back home to buy some bahn mi's and more drinks! The pork belly bang mi's was so good and bread still crispy even after sitting in our car for a couple hours, and the avocado smoothie was so balanced and refreshing. Been here 3 times now, and each time they have taken extremely long to get my drinks even though we are the only ones in there. This time i just had to ask for my money back, because we were waiting for over 25 minutes and she hadnt even started making my drink. There was only one other customer in there. The other times that i have gotten my drinks they tasted okay, but the boba was very firm and not fresh. So if you want to get a boba drink there are many other places better than this. The Specialty Banh Mi here is really good and authentic, much like the good ones that I'd get in SD! The previous owners of the store (no offense) did not make the greatest Banh Mi or Vietnamese coffee, but the current owners know what they're doing. The service is great and the ambience is nice. Subpar quality today. Ordered 2 teas, 2 bahn mi's, and 2 order of spring rolls. One of the milk teas was 50 percent ice and mostly milk, despite requesting light ice. The other tea was also 50 percent ice and not normal sweetness and slightly bitter, despite requesting normal sweetness and light ice. The bahn mi's have changed sooo sooo in quality from when they first opened. It's still good but not going to drive 1 hour anymore for it. They used to have a hearthy amount of thick veggies, cilantro, peppers, and now it's just slivers of it. The bread also tastes different. The spring rolls tend to be good, just also not as much basil and thinner shrimp slices. While it was 5 stars when it first opened, now it's just okay and worth a visit if in the area (especially if it will be hit or miss).
