A family member came home with drinks from this place and she said that they are really good for their juices. I personally did not go, so I cannot comment on their Covid precautions. The drink was really good for me. Even though it was 50% sweet, it was a tad bit on the sweet side for me. I usually drink sugared drinks, but this juice, along with the fresh fruit pieces, really made it sweet. The only thing I didn't like, and this goes for all passion fruit drinks, is when I get the passion fruit seeds in the straw and I suck them up. I really hate biting into them or swallowing them. I went in today and it was the second time this exact same thing happened- I ordered two of the same drink, and asked for no jelly in either. They put jelly in one and the other was what I ordered. I let her know that one of them was wrong and that I asked for no jelly in it. She tried to grab both and I told her one of them was right, that just one was wrong. She grabbed my correct drink out of my hand anyways without saying anything along with the drink that was made wrong and walked away. Then I watched as she proceeded to dump out the drink she made wrong and poured half of the other correct drink into that cup and just added ice to both. Mind you she charged me $7 for each drink, I tipped, I waited almost 30 minutes for my drink to be made even though there was only one other drink being made before mine and they weren't busy. It just felt disrespectful and it was definitely a rip off, so no matter how good the drinks are it's not worth it. read more

i am shocked reading over these reviews because i had no complaints about this place whatsoever. the staff was friendly and they had quick service. they had finished making my drink within five minutes. pumpkin spice milk tea; (10/10) this drink is seasonal and will likely be taken off the menu soon but it was terrific. i loved everything about it. i have only had two pumpkin milk tea flavored drinks and i prefer teasociety's over tastea's. you could taste the pumpkin spice as well as the tea. the boba was of great quality not hard whatsoever. the drink came with boba too so it did not have to be added. i only ordered one drink so i can not speak on behalf of the other teas but i personally think this boba tea shop is amazing and would recommend it despite the reviews. read more

I came here with a group of friends on a Saturday afternoon. There's a lot of seating here which is nice. They also offer free samples for two of their drinks. We tried the hazelnut and the black diamond milk teas. They were both good- just your standard milk tea. I ordered a hot roasted oolong milk tea with boba through the kiosk. There wasn't an option for a hot version so I just wrote "hot" in the notes which is what I heard you're supposed to do. I ordered at 2:57pm and received my drink at 3:15 so the wait is a little long. I only gave this place 3 stars since the milk tea wasn't anything special and the wait was a little long. I probably would not come back since nothing on their menu stood out to me anyways, but it is in a convenient location with plenty of parking. read more

My last review was nearly four years ago and the Teasociety now is so much different. I came here two nights ago after seeing how long the Pekoe line was. I ordered their Summer Fling which is like lavender milk tea with strawberry bits/syrup in it. My brother order the Matcha Love. Surprisingly the summer fling tasted really similar to Pekoe's Pretty in Pink and it was like my Pekoe cravings were satisfied. I was really happy with it. I'm really into floral flavors and strawberry so both together was a really good combo. My brother's Matcha Love contained strawberry as well but it was not as strong. He also stabbed his straw in the cup and the cup exploded all over my birks QQ but he was able to get them to remake the drink in a new cup. Also I might be wrong but I think TeaSociety and Urban Tea Cafe are owned by the same owners bc some drinks were put into Urban Tea Cafe cups. Overall I was pretty impressed by how much they improved from when I first had their drinks 4 years ago. They could work on cleanliness of their store though. read more

This place was right next to the pho place we were eating at. It was very convenient as we were coming back from Monterey and stopped by for food. This is a cute boba place. We ordered 5 drinks and all was pretty good. I got the passion fruit drink with fresh fruits. It was pretty good and refreshing although the fruits could have been a little more ripe. They had a food menu as well that offered a variety of snacks. We didn't get to try it since we were full from having pho next door. Drinks at Teasociety cost close to 6 dollars for a 20ish ounce drink. I ordered mine without ice and when I got my drink the cup was filled at 85 percent. Couldn't even top off the drink to the fill line. Shaking my head c'mon now. The drink is already cold without the ice why pay 6.00 to have more ice and less drink?? I'm reading a lot of other reviews where customers have received similar quantities of drink in their cups. Even Starbucks will fill to full capacity if no ice is requested. This is the only boba spot in the bay that I enjoy getting jasmine milk tea at. The tea is never too sweet, always creamy and so addicting! Their boba is also always on point and sweet, with a great texture and chewiness. I've also tried their curly fries, fried tofu and garlic fries. I like to come here when I'm in the area because they have a good selection of drinks and snacks. There's lots of boba places around the area but not all of them offer snacks to pair with your boba. I usually get the Lychee Milk Tea as they make a good one. They have a summer menu going on right now and I tried the Summer Fling which I really liked as a Lavender Milk Tea. I like how they offer samples of drinks at the cashier which helps when you want to try something new. Interior is cute with their decoration and there's a good amount of seating. Service is friendly, the only thing that worth mentioning is if you order without ice in your drink, they leave about an inch gap at the top, which is disappointing. read more

They only filled my girlfriend's drink about 70% of the way because she ordered no ice. I've been to countless boba places and from my experience you should be getting a full cup of tea, ice or no ice. However, they refused to remake the drink when I told them this. This is clearly a place that cares about their bottom line over their customers. I will not be going again and would recommend that others instead visit the many other boba places in the area that put customers as a higher priority. read more
