This Teaspoon location is located across from the Todos Santos Plaza. It is a bit hidden away with the arches/pillars. No chairs and tables to stay and hang out or study. The employees are friendly as well. I ordered my usual from here - the creamy jasmine with boba. It had a good creaminess to it, but it only had a subtle tea taste to it. It was good at 50% sweetness and I ordered it with light ice, which was not enough. The boba was on the chewier side on the outside and it was a bit tough in the middle. read more

Teaspoon was my favorite boba shop when I lived in Milpitas. So I was so happy to hear that not just one, but TWO locations were opening near me. One in Concord and one in Walnut Creek. This Concord one is like 3 minutes away from my house so it's a super convenient location for me. I went in during the soft opening and the guy who was working was very nice and even let us sample one of the drinks when we asked. I ended up getting the Flamingo and it was very refreshing, but I didn't like that the watermelon flavor wasn't fully fresh but had a slight artificial taste to it. Regardless, I still finished it and it was still good (3.5/5). My cousin got the silky mango and she loved it but that one tasted a little artificial to me too. I would prefer it if they only used the fresh fruit instead of using both the fresh fruit and the artificial syrup (not sure if this is what they do, but it tastes like it). (cousin: 5:5, me: 3.5/5) I went in again and got the guava sunset and this one was my favorite so far!! (4.5/5) I usually get the ladybug (4/5) but I think the guava sunset is my new favorite. Hmmm. Not bad, not blown away. Clean place, staff does their best to get drinks out quickly, and the tea had pretty good flavor. I wasn't blown away by the liquid honey (oolong). It's basically just a basic tasting milk tea and I think they use a powder creamer or something, it's not a thick cream top like the pic shows on their menu. You have to pay if you want real milk or a milk alternative. I've had a lot of oolong and this one was hovering around the middle, I probably wouldn't crave it. Friend had an assam tea, she said it wasn't bad and at the same time said it wasn't as good as Uji or Happy Lemon. It's good to see more milk tea spots pop up around, though I'm confused why teaspoon and bober are popping up all over the bay at the same time (neither are my favorite tbh). I would be willing to try another drink here to see if there's something else I would like more (but I love oolong and figured that would be the best bet). Price is on par with other spots in the area, milk tea is pricy now a days. read more

This place is located in the bustling part of Todos Santos Plaza so with that said, make sure you give yourself plenty of time for parking on the street unless you just want to park at the parking garage. I've been to 5 other Teaspoon locations so I'm glad that another one has opened near me. I'm happy to see that they're keeping the dirty ube although I liked the violet latte more (please bring that one back!!) if you like fruit teas then this is your spot, their unique drinks will not disappoint. For me, my ultimate favorite drink is their matcha Royale with strawberry and oat milk. Unlike some places, teaspoon actually has oat milk as a sub so if you're lactose intolerant like me, then this is your spot. Their soft opening is from 1-7 until the end of the month. I came in at 1:02 today (Friday), I was the only one in there which was great. Just some feedback on my drink (matcha Royale): overall, it didn't taste like matcha, I tasted more of my oat milk than the matcha and the strawberry jam was soooooo sweet (maybe someone put a little too much sugar when they were making the jam), again I know you guys just opened so drinks won't be perfect so I will definitely be back another time and hopefully my fav drink will be better. read more

I've been here three times and I've been very satisfied with the quality and flavor of the drinks I ordered. Tasty! You don't get a huge cup like Milk Tea Lab and it charges for upgrades (milk and toppings), but the price is reasonable. The bamboo straws are pretty terrible. It messes with the drink experience so I suggest having a back-up wide straw at home. They really need to get rid of these or offer plastic ones alongside them. read more

They haven't officially opened, but like the WC location they ran out of boba mid day during soft opening period. I'm a huge fan of Teaspoon. I especially love the strong tea flavor of their drinks and honey boba. I usually order a Roasted Oolong milk tea with honey boba and classic cream. This was my second time visiting this branch of Teaspoon. I was pleased after my first visit, and it pushed me to visit for a second time. However, I was greatly disappointed after my second visit today. The honey boba was flavorful, but the drink itself was not good. The color of the drink was as white as if it was a cup of milk. The drink had little to no oolong flavor, and again tasted as if it was a cup of milk. I'm very reluctant to return for a third visit. read more

I was super excited to see that they have opened a teaspoon location in concord. The service was just okay, but you can tell the person who took my order did not know what she was doing. However, the person who made the drinks was super fast which was great! Just to add in, I was coming all the way from Antioch and on the drive home my cousin had noticed before even putting her straw in that there was a long strand of hair in her drink! Afterwards, I soon realized that the male who made my drink did not have proper grooming to fit the standards of the environment which resulted in our drink being contaminated with his hair. I was next door at Hop Grenade after work and wanted a hot drink for my drive home, popped in to Teaspoon and not only was greeted very nicely and politely but my drink came out exactly as requested and the guy helping out (wish I'd asked his name) was super helpful and made me feel welcome.
