Teaspoon is a nice boba shop in the area. Usually when I go, there's not that much of a line, so you can usually just pop in and out. Also, there aren't that many tables and seats, so most people just order and go anyway. I've been to teaspoon twice now and have had two different experiences. First time was during their opening when they were very crowded and busy, and the second time was a few days ago. During the opening, they kind of messed up our drinks and kind of under sweetened our drinks. I guess even though they were busy, it was a bit underwhelming. The second time, they were much better. They nailed my drink and it tasted excellent. Both times, the cashier was very friendly and very patient and they were awesome. The only thing that I didn't like was that both times, the syrup that the boba/jelly sits in ended up in my drink. For the boba, it didn't really mess with the flavor, but with the jelly (rainbow jelly), it made my drink kind of fruity. But other than that, it's a good milk tea place. read more

We ordered the "tropical delight" which is Mango snow with rainbow jelly, mochi, and condensed milk (they let us trade out the jelly for mango popping pearls... which they call mango boba). I like Teaspoon on other locations. However, I've been here three times and they've never got my orders right. Last night, I saw them threw away my drinks behind the counter (probably because they made some mistakes) and totally forgot my orders thereafter. So far this place has been good. I go to the Los Altos location, but this branch is even closer to me. I like their BOGO offer, ends sometime in June. The staff is friendly and the establishment is clean. It would be ideal if they had 2 registers versus one, especially during busy times. The white grape oolong milk tea always comes with crystal boba. When I ordered mine, it wasn't included. I told the barista and he made me a new one. I wish he didn't have to throw away the first order, I could have given it to someone else. The grasshopper drink needs improvement. There was more cucumber juice than lychee. read more

One of my to-go boba places since it's so close to me. They have more than your typical milk tea drinks and most of them are pretty good! I really like the Virgin Mojito which is jasmine green tea with fresh mint leaves and key lime! The Issue was, first time I came , last Wednesday I believe, I came for the first time , and bought 4 or basically 2 for my family because BOGO. It was not as bad as gong cha but it did not have sweetness nor taste. They are a small place located in the Paris Baguette, grocery outlet lot. Not too many tables inside, but there is always a line in the peak time. Their tea is very strong, that is somethign I like and keep coming back for. One thing I really like about this place is I can order for pickup via yelp and just walk in and pick up my order, no waiting in line. Although there are many boba places around this area, I do not know of another one that honors order pickup, is as fast as them and as good. I have tried their High mountain oolong tea, Taro lover, Liquid gold, Jasmine green tea. I like all of them but the oolong tea is my favourite. It is a rarity that I come here just for one drink, otherwise, I wouldn't need a bag. I usually order 4+ drinks Togo spending easily 20+ bucks every time. This place does not offer a free way for you to carry out your drinks. 10 cent a bag, lame. Your drinks are expensive, please don't nickel and dime your patrons over 10 cents. This hidden gem is located down the street from where I live and I find myself here at least once a week. Workers are kind. Service is okay but not over the top (hence the 4 stars, I like to be wowed). Parking in the area is annoying and the place tends to be a little busier towards the end of the night. I have no idea how you can have so many great tea spots in one vicinity, but Teaspoon pretty much completes the trifecta for amazing tea spots (the others being Teasociety and Happy Lemon which are both extremely close by). Teaspoon's tea to me is a little weaker than the other 2 stores in the area, but it just tastes so good. I have no idea if all milk tea stores use the same type of creamer and sweetener, but Teaspoon's drinks just taste really nice and creamy and sweet. They manage to hit a perfect balance between each flavor that goes into their drinks. If I had to make an analogy, I would say Teaspoon is an upgraded Gong Cha by a few margins. Having tried Teaspoons Los Altos location and SF, I would say Milpitas' lives up to its name. Came during their promotional time but always towards the last hour of closing. Wait wasn't horrible considering it was their grand opening time. Got my usual grasshopper with lychee jelly and roasted oolong crema with boba and great as usual. Even saved my grasshopper for the next day in the fridge and tasted just as good! I'm a tea person who likes a strong tea flavor and Teaspoons delivers almost every time! I've even requested to have a stronger tea flavor a few times. Never had an issue of my drinks being watered down. Sweetness and ice level can be adjusted. Tried their Hangover 3 shaved snow, it was bomb. The snow tasted just like Thai milk tea! I loved the condensed milk and mochi. My boyfriend ate all the coffee jelly!
