I've been to teaspoon about 3 times since they opened and every time it's a treat. I've had alot a third of the drinks so far and the ones that stand out the most right now are the matcha milk and the mango milk. normally I'm not a matcha or fruit person when it comes to Boba but these two are addictive and delicious. The fresh milk they use for all their drinks tastes and feels high quality. All the work staff look very well trained and professional so much so that it doesn't even feel like a soft opening. it feels more like they have been open for a long time. The inside is also very clean and the warm smell of the Boba fills the store. I will definatly be coming back to try more of their drinks. read more

I came here for boba after dinner around 9pm and they were unfortunately out of boba. I got a HOT liquid gold, and I caught the employee making my drink attempting to put it in a cup meant for iced drinks (it was for surely going to melt or burn my hand) so I kindly asked if they were out of hot cups and he said no and ended up pouring my drink into a hot cup. I'm not sure if this employee was still training, but it's common sense to put a hot drink in a hot cup.... Very interesting experience here. read more

After a long tedious Costco session, my wife was a feeling a bit annoyed and we passed this store not knowing what it was at first. When my wife looked it up, we found out it is a new bubble tea place in town, perfect to pick us up after dealing with the crowd at Costco. I met the owner who kindly took my order. They have a myriad of flavors, teas, and toppings. I wanted a taro milk tea with lychee jelly but "less sweet." Currently they only have one level of sweetness for their "Taro Lover" as it is made in advance. Luckily, when we got them, it was not overly sweet like most places "normal" sweetness is. It is a tasty concoction of taro milk tea with chunks of taro and your choice of toppings, really delicious. The owner and rest of the team were gracious and kind and kept the contemporary ambiance nice and clean. The owner and their family recently moved to the area and opened up. I wish them well and recommend everyone come and visit for a tasty bubble tea! read more

This shopping center is always full of surprises! We are just starting to dip our toes into the boba world and had some extra time this weekend. I had seen on Yelp earlier that this place was new and rating really well so we decided to head on over! First of all, the smell of the shop is dreamy! I want to put that in a candle and have my home smell like this shop. The menu is simple, which we love. My partner got the Thai iced tea and I got the Black Sugar tea. Both were delightful. Not overly sweet but just enough. We should've shared one because it was a lot for us but it was worth it to try 2 flavors! The staff was very welcoming and patient. Everyone seemed very happy there. I ordered a Guava Sunset with Honey Boba, the drink was rather small, and not too overly sweet, I ordered it "regular sweet." It had a sort of lemonade flavor, not a super strong pineapple or guava flavor. It could've been a bit more tropical, but overall, I enjoyed it. I would definitely say that the prices are on the higher end, but I have nothing against being a more upscale establishment. The building was clean, nearly organized and not overly packed when I visited, We had difficulty using the machine to order but one of the employees was able to help us. Their grand opening is set for later this month, and hopefully they can work out a few kinks by then. The store itself is clean and decorative. The menu is posted right near the register on a screen so it's easy to see even from a distance what they offer. Myself and those I was with asked a few questions of the cashier, and he did not appear to be knowledgeable on the tea they sell and what comes in them. We actually chose to come here based on seeing they offered an oat milk substitute as my friend is allergic to dairy and lactose. When we tried substituting one of the drinks with the oat milk substitute, they said that the cream they use for the tea itself is already made and mixed into the drink, not allowing for it to be completely dairy and lactose free. This doesn't make sense. Why offer a milk substitute if regardless, the drink can't be made dairy/lactose free. Please consider this when making your teas in advance. It defeats the purpose of offering an alternative substitute for the half/half when the tea itself already has cream (dairy) in it. Or consider not making all the cream you use in the teas with milk and maybe consider making those with an alternative milk option as well to truly be able to offer substitute options. The other issue was we also ordered their passion fruit tea I believe it was and it came with entire seeds from the fruit. Not sure if this is a way for you to show costumers it's fresh, but not everyone wants to chew on a bunch of seeds while simultaneously chewing the boba. Consider making this tea without the seeds. Would give this place another try for hopefully a better experience next time. read more

The menu at Teaspoon is more limited compared to other boba stores in town. However, I think their fruit teas top all the other places around here. Since their soft opening, I have tried multiple drinks from their menu. My recommendations are the guava sunset and strawberry colada. However, I must say that the guava sunset has been a hit or miss each time I have gotten it. There are times when the drink is perfect and times when it is too sweet with too much pulp. Since it is not uncommon for my drinks to be a bit too sweet, I usually opt to ordering my drinks with less sweetness. Overall, the workers are extremely nice. (Shoutout to Xana for being the reason my friend and I come back! Xana was working my first time in and she was super helpful.) Just to note: 1) As for speed of drinks, even when I have come when there are not too many customers, I have noticed that it takes at least 5 minutes to get my drink. (Though I am confident service will only get faster the longer they are open.) 2) It is in the same shopping center as Old Navy and Ulta so there is plenty of parking. read more

I'm gonna be honest. I was really excited about this place opening. I drove from across town a few weeks ago to check it out and I really enjoyed the boba itself. I had ordered a tea that I had never tried before and didn't really love the drink itself, but I fully planned on returning to try something else since the boba was so good (a perfect texture and just the right level of sweetness), and I assumed I just didn't like the tea I had ordered. However, I really don't love this trend lately of businesses using social media to shame folks who leave a negative review. I know that it all feels very personal and that negative reviews sting (I've worked in the service industry my whole adult life and I have been there. It sucks to get nasty feedback that feels undeserved!) It's one thing to reply to a review on yelp (which should still be done professionally with the hope of resolving any issue, imo) but the whole posting screenshots and mocking customers on your Instagram stories thing really rubs me the wrong way. Especially going so far as to make fun of the customers profile picture. I don't know if that's supposed to give off a cool or fun vibe or what, but it's a risky move for a brand new business. Anyway, I've been really hesitant to leave this review because I also don't want to end up on their Instagram, but I think it's helpful feedback so here I am, ready to be mocked for my opinion. TLDR: the boba itself was good, the girl who helped me was nice, but whoever runs their socials needs to learn to keep it in the drafts. We always want to support a new business, so stopped by Teaspoon to check it out. The drink menu has 20+ beautifully crafted tea/coffee drinks. Decided on the Dirty Ube, which honestly, was just mediocre. The Ube flavor was faint, and the drink overall tasted like milk. Also, ordered a "hot Jasmine tea", which came less than Luke-warm and also tasted like water. Asked the really nice staff member if he could make it stronger and he kindly said he'd make me a new drink. Second one was also Luke warm, a little better, but felt a hot drink should be hot *shrug*. Really wanted to like both drinks, but since this place is new, maybe still working out the kinks? I understand they just had their soft opening so will revise this review in a few months but first visit did not go so well. Ordered online in the morning before they opened to make my trip quick. Got to Teaspoon in the afternoon and none of my order had been made. They also told me they were out of boba and were making more. This is two hours after opening so either they were really busy and ran out or they simply didn't make enough for the day? Inside is pretty plain with white walls and two hanging decorations. Adequate seating for about twenty inside. Drinks: black sugar assam did not have any sweetness and tastes like if you made black tea at home and added a splash of milk. Even less sweet than a traditional milk tea. Looked at my order and it said 100% sweet. Strawberry colada and silky mango were good according to my parents but they also never say anything bad about boba drinks. Overall would not recommend until they get things figured out which hopefully happens soon! Will review again in a few months. read more
