Sequim is lucky to have this restaurant that seems to always be busy. They have an excellent menu with a variety of foods. Their fish special is usually very good and the pizzas are to die for........most of the time. The knock on this place is that it is very inconsistent is some of the cooking and service. 75% of the time the service is excellent, but 25% of the time it is bad. That same ratio goes with the food. The prices are fair for the quality if the cooking goes well the day and time you drop by. read more

This has to be the worst restaurant in Sequim the owner is very rude does not know how to talk to customers or run a restaurant business and if you ask any questions about their food he simply walks away and shrugs his shoulders and says rude comments and might I add very expensive I ordered two pizzas and two soft drinks and when the bill came it was 69.57 with a tip and I believe in leaving a good tip my bill total was 86.00 and the pizza wasn't all that good I will never visit this place again. read more

Yesterday was the second time we've been there. The first time was for lunch a couple of months ago and we were not particularly impressed. I had the Carbonara and I don't remember what my son and wife had. We all thought our respective meals were okay, but not great. Last night we were feeling like Italian and decided to give it another try. We were hoping our first experience there was an anomaly, maybe because it was lunch or the cook was not "on" that day. The place always seems busy when we walk or drive by which seemed like a good sign, so we thought, let's give it another chance. The service was good, with a friendly waiter, but the food...., well, it's getting 3 stars only because this is Sequim and there aren't many good restaurants here. If we were in Seattle or any other bigger city, it would be a two star rating. My wife got the Pollo Francesca which tasted overcooked and dry. It came with a few wedge fries (described as Parmesan truffled potatoes), a little bit of sauce and a few veggies. It was a fairly small meal and the taste was disappointing. I ordered the Cibo pizza. I'm a big fan of Italian pizza which should have a crispy thin crust, however this crust was not crisp at all. The taste was okay but rather bland and nothing special. So, we've ordered a total of 5 different dishes there on two different occasions and have been somewhat underwhelmed with all of them. We really wanted to like this place, but all in all, the food is nothing special, especially for the price. Wonderful dinner last weekend! We started with the arancini - yum! I got the special which was an almond crusted halibut with tomato-blood orange sauce and lemon risotto. I normally would not pass up pasta so I knew I was taking a chance. It was one of the best meals I have ever had! Delicious! My husband got the carbonara pasta and his cousin got spaghetti. Both said theirs was great also (I tasted the carbonara and it was ver good!). Nice sized portions- leftovers on larger pasta sizes. Had lunch, the portion was more than adequate, and the price was moderate. I had the chicken and mozzarella panini, the bread on one side was soggy, the sandwich wasn't dressed, probably a mild pesto or some other condiment to complement the chicken would have been appropriate, the fries were fresh, but not quite crispy enough. My wife had the crab and tuna melt. She felt that everything was fresh and for the most part enjoyed the preparation, but had to ask for some mustard to help enhance the overall flavor. The atmosphere is casual and open, with tile floors with no real privacy space. It's ok for casual dining, but overall a little too noisy for someone wanting to enjoy a quiet meal. read more

so go back to New Eave Years 2019 when had a group of 10, I cant remember the per person cost but it was quite pricey but that's to be expected for good food and the fact that it's new years eave. took over one hour to get the first of our 5 course meal. it never got any better from there and the food was Awful, we never made it through the main course and ended up leaving to go get pizza. they still charged us over $900.00 dollars. Now fast forward to yesterday New Years eave 2020. my wife and I decided to give it another chance hoping things got better. Bad decision, food came fast as we were the third party in the restaurant. the first three dishes were ok at best. when our main dishes came, my wife's Chicken Marsala was completely fat filled with thick undercooked skin and a big bone, the second one was exactly the same. needless to say she never ate the main course. my Crab gnocchi was cold and had barely any crab. we were completely disappointed again! and we ended up paying $140+ for our two horrible meals. The waitress only deducted $20 dollars off the bill. Never again will we eat there. read more

No balsamic vinegar & olive oil for our small portion of French bread ! Also we were told someone would come around to offer us fresh ground pepper & fresh grated Parmesan. No one ever did. Not impressed for the price you pay. Waiter could have also said thank you when bill was paid, but did not. Our return is questionable. read more

At first experience, this fresh new Italian restaurant has captured our attention and pallets! Ambiance was a little stark and loud, but wait staff, cleanliness and attention to detail were great for first open week. Parking is a task, but complimented by nearby on-street space. Full bar is exceptional and a plus. We experienced simple cheese pizza and Bolognese on home-made pasta to sample the professed NY Style cuisine. My wife (being from NY) and I were very impressed and give both dishes a clear 10 best! Sauces were delicate, superbly NY Italian and exceptionally delicious, pizza crust and pasta (al dente) both delectable, exceptionally fresh and innovative... our very best compliments to Eric & Family for fabulous innovation and presentation of excellent complex recipes... all to the favor of Sequim and the North Olympic Peninsula! Bland....bland meatballs....I grew up with people from Southern Italy...they would rate this a -1....I give it a 0....I had better meatballs then this at and Army Chow Hall...where the meatballs were made by a white Anglo Saxon Sargent from Alabama. Tedesco's is a fun place to go for great food. The staff is friendly and efficient and the atmosphere is fresh and modern.

Date night gone right. Had pizza, a pasta dish, and dessert. All tasted amazing! Great atmosphere, good service; glad they have gluten free options as well. My only complaint is the place was booked full the night we went, but it turned out ok as they had seats available at their community table. I'll definitely make reservations next time. read more

I would love to leave a glowing review about the food and service but unfortunately we just walked were seated by a lovely lady with blond pigtails and began looking over the menu. A young lady came and dropped off 2 waters and that is where the service stopped. We decided on drinks, then we decided on entrees and set our menu to the side. We totally understand when a server is in the weeds so we thought we would order drinks and dinner at the same time and continued to patiently wait. Meanwhile we saw the table next to us be seated (after us), received their water, order drinks, get drinks, order entrees and begin munching on what looked like delicious bread. Each time I tried to make eye contact with a server that passed us to see if someone could help us, I was unable to get anyone's attention, so we left. I love the menu, it looks creative and inspired there are several items I would have liked to try so I'll give them a star for that, and another star for having a cool and hip environment. The third star is because I hate leaving bad reviews. Really I can deal with someone being slammed and letting me know, I get it. I can totally handle a hostess telling me they double sat a server so it might be a little slow. I totally appreciate a manager explaining that there's a problem in the kitchen, but for not one person to acknowledge us in the time we waited is an epic fail in my book. read more

Went for dinner before The holidays, food and service was mediocre but thought we would try again. Went back for dinner on a Sunday night without reservations. Hostess said there would be a 10 minute wait even though there were 3 empty tables. But we waited, and 15minutes later were seated at one of those empty tables. Had one drink each, do like that they have full bar as we aren't wine drinkers. But the salads are huge, served on dinner size plate (waitress should have mentioned the size) and expensive, but you have to order one because you don't get one with your dinner. Ordered half orders of pasta dishes, ironically they came on salad sized plate. Was extremely disappointed as they tout their " fresh pasta made daily". It was really nothing special. lacked flavor, no offer of fresh pepper or grated cheese on the salad or the pasta. Service was poor at best, although the table next to us seemed to get terrific service from their waiter. Had to ask twice just for a glass of water. I was super excited about this place, but won't drop $100 on dinner for two again here. read more

Great food but and this is a huge but unbelievably slow service! Went there for a birthday celebration and was seated quickly. I received my complimentary water quickly as well. Five minutes past. Others were seated and, what I figured would have been my server stopped and chatted with a couple of customers. Ten minutes past and still no server. My wife arrived. Five more minutes past (BTW, they weren't busy - Thursday night). Now twenty minutes past and all I had received was water. My brother arrived and we decided to leave. Unfortunately this wasn't the first time. This was the third time. If you don't give a damn about waiting then stick it out, the food is good. Maybe take out would be faster. I am not planning to try them again. We ended up at Stymies. Within five minutes our server arrived and took our drink order. She delivered the drinks and took our order. Total time from arrival to order taking was less than ten minutes. Enough said. read more

I've eaten here several times. Great addition to Sequim! I've heard complaints about noise, layout and sun. I have no idea what the noise complaint is about - if someplace is popular enough to draw patrons, those patrons are going to make noise. I'm not sure what the problem is. Layout? There are tables - you can walk around them and sit at them without backing up to your neighbor. What more is required of a layout? Sun - I'm sure there are times when the large windows can make things a bit uncomfortable. Given the amount of sun we get in Sequim, I'm generally happy with more windows rather than with less. Might be nice if they could come up with a covering for them though. I wasn't crazy about the grilling of the Caesar salad but that may just be me. Loved the pasta and the fact that you get enough to eat entirely at one sitting without feeling guilty about leaving some behind. Soup was great. Wasn't quite as excited by the Chicken Piccata the one time I had it. Parking is bad but I'm not sure what choice the restaurant has in that matter. I'm very pleased to have an option that's a several cuts above 101 Diner and Applebee's. read more
