I called at 4:05 pm just after opening and placed our $80 order for 2. Was told our order would be ready by 430 pm. We arrived at 5 as we needed to make a stop on the way. Walked up to the front and our order was not ready. I stood outside an additional 15-20 minutes before it was brought out. Sadly, I tipped beyond generously before the additional wait. Our order took an hour and 15-minutes. No apology for the wait. The quality was ok but not spectacular. read more

What a disappointment! The food was mediocre at best, gag reflex bad in some cases. I was excited about the fettuccine asiatico, which was supposed to be treated with Thai flavors. We were visiting from out of town, and just walked in on a whim when we were turned away from some of the adjacent resturants. I have to say, the experience my party of 5 had was fantastic. Very expensive for mediocre food. $35 will buy you two scallops and three small shrimp. The cannelloni was so tough, my husband had to cut it with a knife, the tomato sauce is very acidic, and the lasagna was merely pasta and cheese. However, the wait service was excellent. Staff was friendly and attentive. Cool interior, high ceiling and beautiful wood. Drink: extra dry vodka martini with blue cheese stuffed olives- olives and blue cheese were hard and bland. Salad: Caesar. Under-dressed and the caesar dressing was boring. Burrata and Fruit- fried goat cheese was cold, didn't expect that. Some fruit was hard and off season, some tasted like it was canned. Excessive herbs used, they were overpowering. Bacon was not for me! Balsamic was on the sweeter side. These flavors didn't come together. read more

We had reservations and I'm glad because this place was busy on a Sunday evening but they do take walk ins. The service was great. It wasn't extremely fast but reasonable especially considering how hard restaurants have it due to low staff. The food and drinks were wonderful. We had the calamari which had two really yummy dipping sauces. The free bread was great and came with olive oil/balsamic vinegar dip and butter. I got spaghetti and meatballs which was loaded with house made meatballs (probably 10 or more), BF got beef ravioli which he loved but wish had more cheese. We shared a pepperoni and sausage pizza too. It was so good. Piping hot, supper cheesy, the sausage was sliced links and not ground. It was a wonderful meal. They have great desserts too. Delicious meal - excellent service. We had the halibut special. Calamari for a starter. It was fresh, lightly battered, with two sauces (aioli and Thai chili). First time for lunch today, The restaurant was spotless! The staff were very friendly, our server was knowledgeable about the wine & food. There were two of us & our meal came together, the food was hot & full of flavor. We will definitely go again. Again went for lunch on 04/09/2018. Had a great Panini with fries. Daughter had Clam Linguine both dishes were really good. Excellent service & outstanding food. So sorry to see the restaurant will no longer be open for lunch. Not living in Sequim we would look forward to our visit approximately five times a month. Many of our friends would also do lunch there. So now the lunch of the day will be Mexican. read more

We tried it again, thinking the food would be great. My wife ordered the special swordfish, and I ordered something much simpler to prepare. Her swordfish smelled when it was delivered to the table. The taste was strong and smelled. Swordfish is known for being meaty and not a trace of fish, when it's fresh. The "special" meant it's was about to be thrown away and this was the last effort to sell it before it was trashed. This has turned out to be our last trip, or order something very simple. read more

Having lived in Scrimm for the past four years, we had not been to Tedesco's. What a disappointment. We arrived at a little past 4 PM because we have two kids 11 and nine who are very well-behaved and have been at the top of their class for the past five years. ; We are always conscious of other diners and wanted to ensure we did not disturb anyone. As we walked through the door, the first thing the hostess says is "I take it you don't have reservations". What kind of comment is that when you're welcoming guests? She sat us at a table in the middle of the aisle instead of near a window, even though there were no people in the restaurant . The waiter was very attentive, but we found the food to be very bland. My wife had the fillet mignon and I had the halibut. Two signature dishes that should have had more flavor and the side dishes were minimal. I mentioned to the waiter that we were celebrating my wife's birthday, but that did not illicit so much as a happy birthday comment from the waiter, which I found a bit unusual. We ordered dessert, received the check, and left a 20% tip even though it was hardly worth five or 10%. We will not be returning. read more

Good service and nice ambiance! The prices were typical of Italian restaurants ranging from mid 20s to 40s. They did provide bread which was a plus. I ordered the chicken parmesan which was average in taste. I was shocked by the amount of pasta served with the chicken parmesan. I have never received such a small amount at any other Italian restaurant. It was equivalent to 2 tablespoons of pasta under the chicken. The amount of chicken was the same as other restaurants. I look over at my husband's plate and immediately apologize since I chose the place. He ordered the halibut special it came with rice equivalent to the amount of 1 tablespoon. These measurements might even be generous. He did think the halibut tasted decent. Both dishes came with a side of vegetables this was a couple shreds of carrots and one shred of what I suspect was broccolini. Unfortunately with one shred of it, it was difficult to tell. When the server delivered my dish she called it a half dish the only other option was more chicken for 3$ extra but the amount of chicken was not a problem it was the amount of pasta. When ordering, our server suggested an order of salad with our dishes but we don't eat salad at restaurants due to the risk of food borne illnesses associated with lettuce. After ordering I thought that might be a hint the quantities are small but I've never had that issue at American Italian restaurants. We were disappointed by the amount of rice and pasta received with our dishes. I wish we would have taken a picture. The quantity of the dishes looks like an amount that would satisfy the appetite of a child. Rice and pasta are some of the most inexpensive ingredients. So, we were surprised at the tiny quantities served. Thankfully we had a big lunch today. The quantity and quality is not reflected in the price. read more

A Great Find Some local friend's suggestions didn't suit our interests, so we checked on Yelp and found Tedesco's. As it was right on our way home from a run to Costco, we stopped, and even though it was a Friday night, got seated immediately. Our cheery waitress brought us a basket of bread and we settled in. And oh!, the bread. Crusty and warm, served with soft butter and a plate of olive oil and balsamic - Heaven! My wife, being a simple Italian food lover, ordered spaghetti and meatballs and I found something that sounded VERY interesting - an angel hair pasta with fresh Maine lobster in a Thai cream sauce. When our meals came, we dug in and savored every bite. Both were excellent. A nice atmosphere, cheery and attentive waitstaff and great food -- what more could you ask for? This is an adorable, delicious restaurant right off the main drag in Sequim. The staff is all super friendly and attentive and the chef/owner even came out to say hi and make sure we enjoyed our meal! Very happy with my food and our waiter. It was easy to make a reservation online. I had the prawns and Angle Hair pasta. The shrimp were perfectly cooked (not over done) and the Thai sauce was excellent. The prices are fair for what you're getting, but preclude me from coming in very often. It's true! They are over-priced, closed on Tuesdays? Noisy, and poorly laid out. And think American- Italian... Finally we have an Italian place in Sequim. I would have loved to give Tedesco's 5 stars and could if all I judged was my simple spaghetti and meatball lunch. It was a nice sized portion for lunch, the sauce was good, the meatball large and good. But unfortunately I didn't think it was a complete lunch. Where was the bread to sop up the extra sauce? Where was the small salad. People don't like to go to lunch and have to order a $6 salad to accompany a $13 small serving of pasta. And bread? Where was the bread? One other item of note, my wife's spaghetti carbonara was good if she had ordered spaghetti alfredo. But it wasn't carbonara. All in all, good food. Was looking forward to having the "Wednesday Night Lasagna"as they have never had lasagna since they have open, that I know of. Great service. Good value ($20). Meal came with bread, side salad, veg, soda or glass of house wine and lasagna in a casserole dish. Tasty meat sauce (beef & sausage) lots of cheese but only one small, thin sliver of lasagna noodle? Served with a soup spoon? More like Lasagna stew! Needs more layers of pasta to go with the delicious red sauce and cheeses IMHO. Have eaten there at least seven times, always had a good meal. Their food is more Gucci Italian than Southern Traditional Italian (red/white sauce, pasta, meat or fish), which is what I tend to like. The only Italian restaurant in town. (I will drive forty miles roundtrip to Port Townsend to go to "Lanza's" for the best traditional Italian and great lasagna.) I will still go Tedesco's as I like their Spaghetti and Meat Balls. read more
