While I had initially wanted to add that the price point compounds the lack of satisfaction, I suppose it is not too terrible, given the area and ingredient quality. When it comes to execution for the Norway Benedict, I had initially wanted to give between a 1 to 2 star rating. While I have long been a fan of smoked salmon, particularly on benedict, I could not find any positive attributions that I, in good conscience, may liken to their rendition. The egg is neither plump nor fluffy; the whole item lacks flow, taste, and gravitas; the salmon is warm; the muffin is hard and neither crispy nor fluffy; elements to elevate it are missing; there are no vegetable elements which would greatly help, e.g. onions, olives, tomatoes; it is quite perplexing that slightly overcooked hash browns should be inserted underneath the salmon; and the hollandaise is basic. Rather than being unnecessary in my particularity, my discernment is due to how much passion and love I have for this dish; which is why it makes me particularly sad to have encountered such. The nicoise salad is not fresh nor garnished either; and lacks flavor elements such as lemon zest that would greatly elevate it. Conversely, I decided to bump up my rating to an upper 2 on account of a decent espresso milkshake and courteous, quick service. On the other hand, I was between 4.5 to 5 minutes late in grabbing my order, and my milkshake had mostly melted; lacking texture, thickness, and frost emblematic a milkshake. I would advise a fridge for to-go orders; though perhaps it is simply made that way. Points, however, for their punctuality. If you have the inkind app, there is a significant boost in value. My concluding thoughts are that I would not be opposed to coming here, outright, were I invited by other people to do so. Ironically, I walked in here to buy some breakfast food. Specifically the amazing fruit tarts, which are kind of like a PopTart and $24 for 6. I walked in a few minutes before 7PM and it was somewhat quiet inside. Three employees looked at me and no one greeted me, even the young lady returning to the host persons stand. A few minutes earlier a gentle man had to track someone down to tell them that he had reserved a 2-top online. The barista and bartender assisted him and conferred then pointed him towards a seat. My pancakes also didn't come with butter, so I borrowed my fiances. The pancakes were bland. I know they're pancakes, but damn. Like I legit thought about salting my pancakes to get some flavor. I make better pancakes at home. The sausage was probably the most disappointing. It's like the forgot how to use any salt and pepper. That breakfast sausage was so bland, I legit thought they had mistakenly given me burger patties. It was that bad. Absolutely no spice. I had to salt and pepper it. And then threw hot sauce on it. We were starving, and I just mixed everything with hot sauce, pepper, and salt. And I never tend to salt food more. It was bad. I tried the seasonal apple poptart, the filling was good, but the poptart crust was way too crumbly and dry. Again, you could make it yourself better. Took my mom here today since she is visiting this week and it's not a restaurant we have at home in Arkansas. We got the Cobb salad with grilled chicken, lobster bisque, and a blueberry cheesecake pop tart. Our waiter told us that one was the most popular of the pop tarts, and we could see why! I like that they have decent gluten free bread, which opens up a lot of menu options that I usually can't eat. The only thing is... the service here is awful. The portion for the price is pretty good but the service was not it. Tried the "Pancake Stack" which come with 3 large fluffy pancakes, eggs, and hash browns which were well seasoned. We sat down for breakfast today, a Sunday, at 8 am. We ordered a cinnamon roll, but we were told that the cinnamon rolls wouldn't be ready until 8:30, so we ordered other breakfast items. Since we were craving something sweet and we were unable to get the cinnamon roll, we decided to get a slice of Pumpkin Layer Cake to go for later. The cake is awful. Tastes like it has been in a freezer since Halloween, which was 131 days ago, and the menu description said toasted pecans, there are no pecans, toasted or otherwise.
