    Regular hot dog
    Dave D.

I was in Buffalo for a night and looking to try something new. Ted's Hot Dogs showed up in my search and looked right up my alley. About 40 people in line as I walked in the door on a Wednesday at 6pm giving me plenty of time to second guess how much to order as a lot of the menu looked intriguing. I settled on a regular dog, a single patty cheeseburger, an order of onion rings, and a fountain drink. I'm not usually a fan of a charred dog off the grill but this one was just slightly that way and didn't detract from the flavor in any way. Had mine with ketchup, mustard, raw onions, and chili which had a pleasant kick. All of this on a Super soft hot dog bun. This was easy the tastiest part of the meal. The single patty cheeseburger (which is somewhere between a smash burger and regular burger patty in thickness) was fairly plain in flavor and needed the condiments (same as I had on the hotdog) to give it some separation from any other burger place. Just an average burger overall. Lastly the onion rings... they are something a little different being thinly cut and lightly battered. They have good sweet flavor, but do get soggy pretty quickly. I should have eaten those first, but that was a rookie mistake on my part and I don't hold that against anyone but myself. I definitely enjoyed them and would get them again. The service was friendly/efficient and the restaurant was clean. Total cost was $21.76 with tax. Overall a good comfort food type meal and I'd recommend getting a Ted's Hot Dog!

I grew up with Ted's, but it just is not the same as it used to be. The lines are long with often only one grill open even on busy weekends. More importantly, the cost you spend for the food you get is highly disproportionate. The taste of the food is good, but the cost saving measures have even brought this down. For example, Ted's always used to serve quality rolls with its grill items, but these are now more generic, particularly with the grilled chicken sandwich and burgers. In addition to the food photographed, we also had a grilled chicken sandwich. It lacked flavor and felt processed beyond being very small in size. The actual charcoal flavor on the items is still good.

We stopped in at 1:45 on a Friday and there was a pretty long line. Was so happy for see someone taking the orders as we stood so by the time you get to the front, all we had to do is pay and take the order. The gal on the grill was doing great, the gal the put the burgers and dogs seemed to take her sweet time, but I am not on a work lunch break, so that was fine by me. Plenty of seating throughout and even an outside area in the back, behind the building that was grassy with picnic benches. Ordered a footling, and quickly realized the magic of this place! It tasted like it just came off the grill at a backyard BBQ! I get it now and really wish we had some of these by my place in Huntington Beach, CA. I think they would put Weinerschnitzel out of business! Get you some Ted's for sure!

This place is exactly what it says It is, a hotdog Emporium. They have regular hotdogs, beef or non-beef, foot-long, regular sized, sausages, always Woodfire grilled. Get them with nothing on them or get them loaded with the works. My preference is onions and peppers with a whisper of mustard. The quality is very consistent, prices have gone up here over the years just as they have everywhere else. Nice seating available. Refill your own drinks. Great place for the family. Dressed in shorts and a T-shirt? No problem, Dressed a little fancier? Everybody comes here. My favorite location happens to be on Sheridan Drive in the town of Tonawanda, but all of the locations are good.

Teds is one of the places I bring my friends when they're coming to buffalo from out of town because it's just so good. Their sahlens hot dogs with cheese sauce on it are so yummy. First time trying the cheeseburger and it's soooo good 10/10 recommend. I barely ever eat burgers but when I do now I know my go to. My sisters friend has been raving about their burgers forever now and I'm so glad I finally tried it lol. She's also a vegetarian so that shows.

The BEST people! Cat, Ryan, Bella, and Sam & Miranda too!

Shout out to Cat, Bella and Ryan ... Sam and Miranda too! You are pure Awesomesauce! I even learned an insider tip Sunny side up is the way to be!! You are all fantastic.. thanks for making covid food pickup not at all the sadness it could be! It felt like summer in here even though there were a few snowflakes flying! You rock guys! I nominate you all for raises just because you know how to treat customers and you made my yummy food to PERFECTION! Don't drive past this Ted's on NFalls Blvd- get in there and taste summer again! (Dear boss of Ted's - I don't know these great workers, so I'm not being biased. You're place is the best!!)

91 cent hot dog day and we were early. No line!

You can never go wrong at Ted's Hot Dogs, but today is extra special as they are serving 91 cent hot dogs. We got here just before the 10:30 opening. Ted's opened the doors almost 15 minutes early as they saw people waiting, approx. 20. The dogs were already on the fire. The first people through the line only had to wait for their condiments to be added. A customer behind me asked how many this location served last year for National Hot Dog Day: 30,000!, and in the February anniversary promo: 45,000.... just at this location. It's easy to support Ted's, even when there is no promotion going on as they make great hot dogs and burgers, but a promo like 91 cent dogs makes Ted's a destination today. Update: 2/19/20: This Ted's is so efficient. Even with lines(there are two grills and so two lines)of 30 people ahead of us, we were served and leaving with our 93 cent hot dogs to-go in 20 minutes!

Foot long with bacon and cheese!

Always thought Ted's cheeseburgers were top notch and even though Ted's has made significant changes of late have to say I miss the jumbo cheeseburger. It's empty spot on the menu has forced me to replace the empty spot on my tray with a foot long sporting bacon and cheese, as a co-worker noted "can't believe you paid $7.00 for a hot dog!" Some things are worth it. As a side note for the ladies, in their wokeness Ted's now has combo rest rooms. You may want to use your bathroom at home before venturing out, you can then be sure the seat is clean.

I enjoyed the double bacon cheeseburger with fries and an Orange Drink. The restaurant is clean and provides nice size tables to eat on.

I arrived with my son for dinner on a Tuesday night and was able to use a kiosk right away. The system was user-friendly but there wasn't an option to add extra bacon (for the extra bacon orderers out there). We grabbed a number to dine in and found our table. The dining room was clean, and all but one table was bussed, which is not bad by any restaurant's standards. Our food was brought to our table in probably 7 minutes. I ordered the double bacon cheeseburger with crispy onions and my son got the chicken sandwich with the herb mayo. For sides, we got the spicy fries and onion rings. I grabbed some napkins from the plentiful (and full) dispensers located near the shelves by the front counter. Wow. These were the best meals we'd each had in some time. My son said it was literally the best chicken sandwich he's ever eaten, enough to want to be the one to write the review in the feedback survey sent to me via text. A teenage boy wanting to write a food review should tell you something. And just look at my burger. Looking like the star it was. Basking in the sunlight during golden hour. Made perfectly and was as good as it looked, if not, better. It was juicy, and cooked perfectly. The little sleeve that my burger came in was not my favorite. It served its purpose but I may have preferred it being lightly wrapped in one of those foil lined papers. The sides were perfect as well. Crispy, fresh onion rings, that were nice thick slices of onion. The spicy fries were nice and crispy too, and weren't your standard cajun. The shakes for dessert were delicious and tasted like real ice cream. I can't speak highly enough about the service on our visit. The young lady, unprompted, refilled our drinks at least 2 or 3 times during our meal and even offered to refill our drinks before we left. We ordered our shakes to go, after our meal and she continued being attentive! When she saw we had another table number, she checked in on us and asked what we ordered so we weren't waiting too long. My only contention is the price. It is more expensive than fast food by a bit. However, in my opinion, Shake Shack shouldn't be judged alongside McDonald's but more Five Guys in the middle ground between fast food and casual sit-down. But that being said, based on this experience, Shake Shack beats any other burger chain, by a long shot.

They even give out promotions, I got a free fry for spending 15.00 via the kiosk, which was easy to do as there burgers average about that price. Three burgers (doubles) with the free fry was 40.00 bucks. The smash burgers are very good, cooked perfect with great seasoning. The bun to burger ratio is off, the burgers are way bigger than the buns! I did get a bunless burger. The service was great the ladies behind the counter were working there butts off with a smile. The fires were delicious, crispy and seaosned, I love a good crinkle fry!!

It's been awhile since I went to Blaze. There's so many good pizza places in Buffalo but Blaze…read moreseems to be a quick stop whenever I am up on the Blvd. I always make my own pizza here and usually I get the same kind of toppings and crust. The high-rise crust is my favorite cause it gets a little less floppy and holds all the weight of the toppings better. Because you can get as many toppings as you'd like, why not load it up? The service here is usually pretty quick and they have a good system of getting you through the line and baking the pizza is pretty fast too. I was able to order a couple of pizzas and get them home before they cooled down. The one downside i found at this visit was the drink station. The lids for the cups were all stuck together and a pain to get apart. There was a few drinks out on the machine and it just seemed like a little bit of a forgotten area. Blaze is a great fast casual place for a quick bite or if you want a specific pizza just for yourself.

When Blaze first opened this location, we were excited to try it and it did not disappoint. The…read moreservice was fast and efficient, and the pizza was excellent. Unfortunately, something has changed over the past two years, and this location has noticeably declined. The service is now slow and inattentive. Employees tend to ignore customers waiting in line, moving without any sense of urgency and appearing unsure of their responsibilities. On my most recent visit, I brought a friend who had never been to Blaze. We arrived shortly after opening to find only two customers ahead of us. Despite the light traffic, employees walked around flattening dough and looking lost, with no one stepping up to take orders. After several minutes, a young woman finally approached and got us started. They completed the orders for the two customers ahead of us, then shifted to what appeared to be online orders, leaving us waiting again. When they eventually got to us, one employee worked carefully and methodically -- the pizzas were well-made -- but the pace was very slow. I then stood at the register for several more minutes before anyone came to take payment. Throughout the entire visit, the overall impression was that in-person customers are simply not a priority. The pizza itself was delicious, though our two orders came out separately despite being made back-to-back. The dining area also needs attention. There is debris collected in the corners and food crumbs left on the chairs. I did notice they finally fixed the giant tear in one of the booth cushions. That was an improvement over my last visit. Blaze makes a great product, but the experience at this location needs significant improvement. I am sad to say this will likely be my last visit.
