Tehran plate with side of salad and rice(comes with order)
    Lyna K.

Experience: Came here on a Sat early evening. No reservations, just walk up. We were seated outside, then once a party left we took the table inside by the window. Small space but cozy. There were people there. The food came out pretty quickly, music was lively inside. Cute location, I liked the cafe style set up. First time trying Persian food. Was fun being in this enclave. It's a good location and next to many other bakeries, shops, etc. Food: Ordered 3 small plates (roasted eggplant dip, hummus, and pickled veggies), tahdig with 2 stews, and the Tehran plate special, which came with a plate or rice and a salad. Everything was very very tasty. From the dips to the stews, rice, and juicy meets. Very fresh, seasoned well, good flavor, a great dinner meal. Service: It was more of an order at the counter experience, not much interaction, but didn't mind it. Parking: Metered parking on Westwood, on a Saturday evening, plenty of open spaces. Ended up parking in a neighborhood 2 minutes from the restaurant, very easy and convenient. Verdict: Fun date night idea and location. Would def recommend the cuisine to anyone, can't go wrong, delicious food.

Amazing food and service. One of the best kabobs I've had. The two people working there did it all. A true family business. We will definitely be back and definitely recommend!

Visiting the area and found this spot near me, wow what a treat. The Lady who welcomed me and my friends is the hostess, cook and food runner. Worth the wait and I would wait again. Had the Chicken (Flat) kabob and salad with a side of pickled vegetables. YUMMY!!! Truly enjoyed the visit, sitting outside and enjoying this meal.

Great service and great and easy to order amazing Persian Food in the area. Great environment and friendly environment for family and friends. Highly recommended if you are around the area. Great customer service. She was really nice and kind to us. Definitely going back again and enjoy Ghormeh Sabzi. Great Salad Shirazi and great Persian Appetizers.

The food was amazing in my opinion, as one of the most underrated Persian restaurants in California. I got the #K7 and the meat was very flavorful with soft buttery rice and roasted veggies. I would definitely recommend anyone who loves beef to try it. A sweet lady runs the restaurant and although it was just my friends and I inside, she was so personable and made us feel at home. The inside of the restaurant is a little small but also has lots of outdoor seating where you can enjoy your meal. I personally would love to go again just to support the wonderful lady who works there but the food is definitely worthwhile as well. Overall I strongly recommend!!

The Chelo Kabob Koobideh was a bit dry and just tasted like hamburger. Mast O Mosir was good. Nothing good enough for me to try anything else on the menu.

MATU WOW. This lil…read morejoint had been on my radar for a while..at least 2 or 3 years. Finally crossed it off the list, and it was quite the joyous and memorable dining experience. I really gotta respect their dedication to red meat and the holy art of cooking a damn good steak. This place is essentially what I'm looking for in a restaurant. Basically hits on all cylinders and checks off all the critical boxes. I don't want to sound all dramatic and such, but I'm dying to go back and try all the other items I didn't have, as well as check out the bar experience. I spoke to some locals outside before they opened, and they weren't just lovely -- they also painted a pretty picture of what the overall vibe is here. It's clear a lot of people in the Beverly Hills and Hollywood Hills area love coming here very frequently. Our server, who I assumed is named Nolan because that's what's shown on the receipt, was very accommodating, kind, and easy to talk to. I think he did a fantastic job dealing with my difficult, picky gf. Haha. I can't say anything was less than stellar. The croquettes in that celery purée stuff were phenomenal. Garlic bread was seasoned and baked to perfection. The bone broth sipper was nourishing af. French fries were perhaps the best I've had in years. Broccolini was fresh, high quality, and complimented the steak very well. I'm bummed we only got to try just the ribeye when it came to the cuts, but my gf did not want to order anything under medium or medium rare that night, so that was a bummer. It's her loss! The panna cotta was the creamiest sweet treat in all of LaLa Land. This is a great place, and it's a top-tier steakhouse. SoCal sometimes lacks places of this caliber that NY, Chicago, and SF / Napa have, but this place is a very close contender to some of the top cream-of-the-crop, steak-centered restaurants in the country. Chef's kiss, Señoritos and Señoritas.

I had high expectations for MATŪ given its reputation, and while the food largely delivered, the…read moreoverall experience fell short due to service issues. Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly and seated promptly. Unfortunately, our initial table was extremely close to a very loud neighboring party, making conversation difficult. To the restaurant's credit, the staff accommodated our request to move, and the new table significantly improved the experience. The food was excellent. We ordered the Dinner for Two, and every component was well executed and enjoyable. The quality of the beef was evident, and it was clear why MATŪ has built such a strong reputation. The cocktails were also well made. Where the experience began to unravel was the service. Wine service took roughly 20 minutes, dessert was noticeably delayed, and our server seemed to disappear for extended periods throughout the evening. The most frustrating part came at the end of the meal when it took more than 25 minutes to receive the check. When it finally arrived, it was delivered by a manager in a manner that felt dismissive rather than hospitable. To make matters worse, an automatic gratuity had already been added to the bill. While I understand the practice in some situations, it felt particularly disappointing given the level of service we received throughout the evening. MATŪ serves outstanding food, and that is what earns this review more than a few stars. However, hospitality is about more than what comes out of the kitchen. For a restaurant operating at this price point, the service should match the quality of the food. Unfortunately, on this visit, it did not. I left impressed by the meal but disappointed by the overall dining experience, and I'm not sure I would return.

A colleague mentioned this place and although I avoid the Beverly Center like the plague, I figured…read morea trip was in order to see how good they were. Thankfully, the place was easy to find once you arrived off the Bloomingdale's Court elevator. At first glance, the place was a ghost town. Exposed to the rest of the mall, they have an advantage for a decent view with the glass window as their one wall. With the exception of that, I felt like you could see a place like this at LAX. I honestly though they were closed, so I did a quick walk-around then by the time I came back, a girl was at the host stand. I told her I placed an order to-go and she said she saw my order being prepared in the back. I asked to see a menu since it was slightly different than what was being offered online. As I went to the bar area, a man came by asking if they were open so I guess he encountered the same desolate environment that I had. Another woman came out from the back to see if I was being helped. Decided to go with a non-alcoholic mojito and for some odd reason, a brownie. Food was brought out and I had a brief wait as she prepared the drink for me. Service was pleasant with the ladies I had dealt with. As for the food, I actually ordered the chicken tenders and fries from the kids menu ($12). Fries were tasty, and the chicken was flavorful. I don't say this often, but it was almost a little too salty. I did ask for bbq sauce but this was forgotten, so I'm glad the meat was decent on its own. As for the brownie, it was a rather small one but it was good. The mojito was okay; I can't believe I'm saying this but I guess I prefer the real (alcoholic) version, although I'm glad they have these 'refresher' options on the menu. Not going to lie, this place is rather expensive, but it's nice to have a new option in this area where the food is actually good. I wish Noor Cafe the best!

I almost wish that I wanted to make french fries and a beautifully presented circular wooden plate, and I ordered ice cold brew coffee absolutely delicious Brenda Sestrap and they offer a lot of different items and the prices are incredible. I really enjoyed my steak sandwich with jalapeños you didn't even take me 10 minutes from order to receive in and yeah I'll share again just added you to the flavor This is a wonderful option for DaleII, lunch, or if you're only a week in visitor?
